2022-07-04I just had 4 lychees and only after I ate them all up, I googled about whether pregnant women could have them… few days ago I had 1 mixed together with yogurt and then again just now 4. All without knowledge that lychees are not good for pregnant women😔😔 I’m currently 27 weeks pregnant now omg. I’m so guilty to eat things without checking it’s safe for baby anot!!!!!! How how? Does anyone know what I should take to counter the effects of lychees🥺🥺

2022-07-04Honestly idk whats wrong with her. Recently my house had some reno work so husband & i stayed in her place. She invited us over because i was pregnant and with all the dust from the hacking she said its not conducive for me to stay and ‘risk’ my health & baby. Fine, i agreed. Im not too sure if any one of you can empathise but she’s a narcissist. And with these group of people, its never enough. Nothing i do is ever enough. Im 9 months pregnant and i stayed at her place for 14 days when the work was done at my place. Out of this 14 days, 11 days i was at work (i work shift). I leave home at 8am and i reach home at 9pm. I see her for an HOUR everyday. YET, this bloody women had the cheek to tell my FIL ‘oh she does nothing. My son does everything for her’ UM YEAH??? My husband WFH, he picks me up from the bus stop, takes out my meals, massages me at the end of the day because honestly im bloody tired after work. How dare she invites me over pretending to be this nice women and yet complains to my FIL about me. (Btw both of them are divorced and she’s remarried so idky she is still talking to him about me????) She has this habit of talking shit about every women who comes into her son’s life (his brothers wife/gf) and apparently no other women is better as if she is TOP TIER. She is making me hate her more every single day. My husband told me to ignore her because she’s been torturing us for the past 5 years ever since i was tgt w him. But how can i?? Shes a two faced bitch. Everytime i try to be nice i find out behind my back she says such stuff. And now, I DONT EVEN WANT HER NEAR MY CHILD. #firstbaby #pregnancy #pleasehelp

2022-07-04My first child was a breech baby and 5 years later, I am due for my 2nd one. I am aiming for VBAC because I have no additional help in walking to send my kid to school. Baby has been head down the entire time but I can tell he is turning oblique (diagonal) since W30 which is giving me anxieties. Any breech baby moms keep getting breech babies again? I've doing forward leaning inversion but no difference. It would be great I get some positive support too!
2022-07-04I’ve be down with sore throat, running nose and cough for exactly 1 week. Seen GP twice and took ART & PCR twice with results coming back all negative. GP only gave lozenges which is not really effective. I would like to ask all mummies if there is any effective GP or TCM that you all recommend. 2022-07-04Hi Moms, I'm 17wks and currently taking prenatal vitamin which contains 150mg of Calcium. My body doesn't tolerate lactose well so I don't drink milk. Do I need to take additional calcium supplements? My friends told me they experienced joint pains and loosening teeth at the 3rd trimester probably due to calcium deficiency 😰 #firstbaby #pleasehelp
2022-07-04Anyone experienced occasionally lower abdominal pain during 17wks? Feels like menstrual cramps but milder. The pain level was 4 out of 10, happened about every 30 minutes and lasted for a few minutes each time. No other symptoms along.
2022-07-04My LO is 15mths now but I’m still avoiding to give her salt n sugar whenever possible. Recently after her fever, she started to not like eating her porridge. Use to be loving everything we give. Not so sure is that related to the “after-fever-effect” or simply just because she has grown bigger. When we went for staycation, I did feed her with outside food.. n baby food. But it seems like she’s also not so fascinated with normal food. Now I have to put bits of biscuits into her every bite of porridge to make her eat her lunch or dinner. I do put herbs, different natural oil into her baby food to give flavors but not sure why now she just don’t like. I tried different eggs.. french toast.. d non-baby food type too but she also doesn’t like. Any of u facing the same issue? Or any advise out there that I should do? Thanks.

2022-07-05Is it normal to feel stomach getting hard and baby will move actively in the morning as well as at night but in the afternoon baby will move much lesser. 2022-07-05Didnt know need to take prenatal vitamins. Saw once 2lines then later 1line,bleeding dunno menses or not.cramps on n off. Went poly urine test,doc say infection but discharge white. She say maybe I had miscarriage thats y negative already. Came home still having bad cramps. Normal panadol extra doesnt seem to wk,I took the menses panadol. Unsure when can go back work. Doc says 6mths cannot intercourse.
2022-07-05I am covid positive with doc mc and submitted result to moh..my good friend request me to keep my art test kit that I tested at home which shows positive as she wants to use for herself so that she doesn't have to go work. She also says her company don't require mc. Should I lend her my art test kit positive result? Honestly I don't feel too good about it but she's my bestie. #advicepls So based on the feedbacks below, I got to reveal the moment of truth..the person who asks me to lend my art test kit positive result is my dad. Tell me how should I react? I've been bothered by this the whole day. I told him cannot just show text kit need to go see doc etc and if moh checks but he insisted me to keep the art test kit and says his company does not require mc. But den I feel not right doing this. I lied saying I threw away previous test kits and he got to wait for my next test and he said ok. Should I help my dad out since he old already(69 years old)? If I don't help am I being unfillal? But funny thing is he is already going to retire end of the year. He works as a security guard.

2022-07-05Hi. I've been trying ttc and have been adding prenatal vitamins and omega 3 to my daily supplements apart from folic acid. About 2-3 weeks later i had red eyes, sensitive to lights, blurry vision and assumed its eye infection due to contact lens and just got eye drops from the gp. It got better for about a week and it happened again. My husband was thinking its because of the vitamins i take daily as it happened after i start to consume them. Isit true that there are side effects from these vitamins as idw to visit the gp again
2022-07-05I just gave birth 2 weeks ago, and I want to stop my breastmilk so badly. With the engorged pain, having to wake up every few hours to pump, and taking care of baby... I'm feeling all the anxiety and frustration. My friend made me feel guilty that why I didn't pull through the tiredness and give my baby breastmilk as it is the best for my baby. As my confinement ends in another 2 more weeks, my husband and my mum will not be around and I have to take care 24/7 of my baby with no help. I can't imagine to be taking care of my baby alone, with all the engorged pain and having to pump every hours. Am I being a bad mum for not pulling through the tiredness to give my baby breastmilk?

2022-07-05Upper stomach around the triangle there felt uncomfortable and felt abit tightness n slight pain till chest area when deep breath in while sitting down. Honestly its kinda hard also to explain the feeling of it. Its ok when lying down but when sitting down can feel like a pressure or slight tightness till around chest there. Like about to be breathless but not 😵‍💫. Any mummies experience it? Currently at 25 weeks now. Got it quite a few time. I got no medical history so far. Can advise

2022-07-06Anyone taken multivitamins & vit D from 12th week onwards and had diarrhea? I've been having diarrhea ever since starting vitamins and it's so concerning as I pass out water at times (no stool but just water) 😭😭 Tried skipping the vitamins all together and no diarrhea. 2022-07-06Have been trying for a while now and I tested 2 lines 3days ago at 4weeks. So paranoid that I used 3 test kits subsequently. Don’t really feel much different except occasional cramps and gassy tummy. Feeling uncertain and anxious as I read that I should only visit the gynae after week 8. 2022-07-06Hi mummies, my boy is turning 11mths soon and he usually drinks from bottle in the day and DL in the motn. However, few days back, he suddenly rejected my boobs and only takes bottle. I have been trying to get him back to latching but he refuses. I have tried offering him in the day, before his bottle and did skin to skin with him. 2022-07-07Living with my husband’s family including his SIL and their newborn. MIL has been helping out with the newborn though there is a helper employed specifically for it, newborn sleeps with the MIL at night so the parents get their sleep, but MIL behaves like the newborn family is the only household under this roof, talking shouting laughing and slamming baby equipment every early morning and night as soon as their family is awake, disrupting my rest. Basically the movements in the household is centered about their routines. I have shared my grievances of noise with MIL but nothing has changed. She buys them meals and ensure their well-being is cared for, on the other hand we are like an invisible tenant in this family. She has also said that our child should be taken care by my own mother instead of her on future, since it would be naturally easier and more comfortable for me. I don’t know what to feel about this, i am jealous, envy and upset, feeling unfair. On the upside, i enjoy my privacy and i am the type who cannot stand noise or interference, so it is in a way good that we are not bothered. There are times though when i feel tired, sad and weak, just hoping that MIL bothers asking if i want her to help me get meals or just showing concern for me and our life… My husband and i will be moving out by the time i pop so i am holding out in the meantime. Should i expect things to change or improve or just don’t bother and live my life as it is since nobody cares and we are moving out soon?

2022-07-07Im someone who dont believe in superstitious (pantang). I may follow some but with valid reasons. Ive been drinking icy water and cold food way before i was pregnant up till now in 3rd trimester. I get annoyed whenever people confronted me and say “cold again. Later your baby got asthma” i just sarcastically laugh at it everytime cos i dont wanna be rude. Can people just stop with all this nonsense pantang? Please do a research i meant lots of research and find the actual reasons behind those pantang. I can say 90% of all the pantangs are myth. I still respect those who follow pantang but please lah dont give such comments about my baby having asthma or what just because i never follow their belief 🙄🙄🙄
2022-07-07Just curious did you inform your superior and colleagues that you need to pump? I only informed my manager and then when I went to take break to pump and come back, one colleague asked me where I went with the tone that I went off to slack. Not obliged to tell her and don’t feel the need to as I’m quite a low key person. Or should I just inform so at least they know I’m not slacking off?

2022-07-08In short, I knew I was pregnant in Jan this year but had to do a D&C surgery in Mar, as my foetus' heartbeat and growth stopped at 7weeks+ when it's supposed to be around 11weeks+ Then we had to wait 2 mths of normal menstrual cycle before we could try again We tried and is now in our 2nd pregnancy journey... 6 weeks 1 day old today but I was unfortunately diagnosed with chicken pox. I was vaccinated and had never gotten before... I feel so lost. I'm so afraid. 2022-07-08She took her 2nd mth Vaccination and took Rotavirus medication 5 days ago. After Vaccination, she seems to have very irregular drinking pattern. We usually feed her every 2 to 2.5hrs, each feed is about 80 to 90ml. For the past 1 week. Baby started to be very cranky and refuse to drink milk and cry alot. Her interval between the feeding session can be as long as 4 to 5 hrs And she will drink about 40 to 50ml, sometimes 90ml sometimes 100ml.. very irregular. I am feeding her breastmilk from the bottle. I am so worried. What shall I do? Shall I go to the doctor?

2022-07-08hi all. i had a miscarriage at 6 weeks 9 years ago and have been trying for kid then. was planning to do IUI already. last mth did 3 internal ultrasound and egg is still not “big” enough for IUI procedure. one week later i feel like im ovulating and we decided to try. the day before i had some bleeding and thats it. my breast still feel so sore and tender so i have decided to test cause my period is suppose to come tomorrow. now im not sure when should i go for gynae visit. should i wait till 6-8 weeks?

2022-07-09Anybody faced similar issue as per title? I strained too hard while pooping and I think it caused the area to tear. Now when I wipe there's fresh blood 😭 I don't think it's from vagina area because there's no blood when I wore pad. Should I seek medical attention or is it something that will go away on its own. Now, I'm in my 35 Weeks, my waterbag breaks yesterday morning at 2am and since I had Low Lying Placenta issue since I was on my 20+ weeks of pregnancy, doctor 'hold' my labour/delivery just to wait for scanning in the next 2 days? I'm worried since my waterbag had already broke and I heard that once waterbag has broke, labour is nearing within 12 to 24 hours.
