2022-06-20Ok so my 4 old month baby got the cough and flu again. He just recovered from it but got it again. Idk if i should go to the clinic again because i know im going to get the same set of medication. He doesnt have fever but when he coughs, he'll tend to vomit his milk out. Im so tired and stress already. What should i do? Go clinic or just observe?

2022-06-20Hi Mummies, I have a question. I m 38 weeks. Tryin for vbac. And my last pregnancy was c sect as was twins. Tis time Ard, wanna try for normal. I m 1cm open and came bk home. The next day was havin scattered brown discharge. And it stop aft a while. Next day, feeling nausea and terrible back pain and time to time cramps. When should I go to to hospital. Others scarin me I should go to go to hospital once I saw the brown discharge but I don't wanna go and lie in the hospital as my kids also need me at home. U know the mum instinct. Lol. So feeling confused and need some advice. Thank you Mummies.

2022-06-20My nb is 25 days old and she developed baby acne several days back. It started getting crusty around her nose, chin and right ear so we brought her to see a PD 3 days ago. We were told that it's normal and advised to wash with water + apply moisturizer. Till date it hasn't gotten better and we dropped using the moisturizer as we are afraid baby's skin might be too sensitive for it, so we only wash her face with water now a few times a day. We have also noticed that her acne tends to flare up more after a bath or after we wipe her face with water. Any mummies went through the same thing? How long did your baby's acne take to clear? I know recovering from acne takes awhile but im still quite worried as a ftm so some reassurance and tips would be helpful. Thanks!

I just removed mine in the bedroom after 3.5 years of wedding 😂 idk why but i always have this uncomfortable feel for removing it previously like as though I remove alr smth bad will happen. Finally removed it Ytd. But I didn’t keep as I had no one else to give to recycle. Room has too much stuff for me to keep also.

2022-06-20I recently became a stay home mom who does not socialise and have any friends. My husband works non stop. When he’s home, he’s either sleeping, watching his movie, talking to friends over phone or meeting friends. Only time with me would be sleeping in same room. We would occasionally watch movie together when kids are asleep but he will be focused on it that he’d ignore me talking. Ive had to beg for his time. I am starting to feel very lonely. Ive told him abt it and still the same. What should i do? I am so lonely that sometimes i feel like chatting with some strangers online to overcome boredom.
2022-06-20I have a 28 months old. He is still not talking yet and only makes eh eh sound with pointing finger or sometimes blabbing. At most he only says few words when forced to talk. Even if tempt him with his fav food, sometimes he also refuse to talk. Since young he is not afraid of thunder or dogs but he is afraid of toys that move on their own or toys with loud sounds. So we have a robot vaccum at home to which he used to be ok but we stopped using the vaccum until recently and just tonight, the vaccum was accidentally activated by my husband standing near it and it moved and scared the shit out of my LO. Husband and me were in a quite pek cek conversation. Then husband angrily says to my LO u see the vaccum since baby now still afraid, afraid wad afraid wad? N my husband flare up kick my LO toys all over and LO cried even louder. (We were at the play area and vaccum charging is there too.) I scolded my husband on the spot is it my LO fault that he is afraid of the vaccum? Why must u kick his toys all over?? I am very puzzled and upset by my husband actions as usually he is a loving father yet also the discipline master. I cannot forgive my husband for treating my poor baby like this just now even though he usually takes good care of him. With his this type of temper and our 2nd one is coming, I dread to think what the future will be like. #advicepls

2022-06-22Hi all. My baby is turning 6 mo in a few days time. I worked very hard for her to have the routine of eat, play, sleep. Usually her nap time is 2-3 hourly, wake time ranging from 1-3 hourly. Mornings will include 1 milk feed (9-10am) and she will wake up at around 12ish or 1 pm. (I can usually do my laundry and washing during this time) Her next nap will usually be around 3pm - 5pm, shower then by 9pm she will be sleepy. So past few days I went for a family gathering and they kept playing and letting her watch tv nonstop. Ever since then, she refused to nap. Even if she does, it’s a short 10-15 mins nap before she’s awake for 4-5 hours. She sleeps around 11pm - 12 ish now!!! Im going over again (celebration) and I’m really really annoyed by my grandma telling me baby is not sleeping because she misses her and I should give her more tv so that she will be tired despite me telling her baby’s schedule is screwed up after spending 1 day there 😠 She even asked if I can go over earlier so she can play with her more. I know she meant well but I just cannot. You can spend less than 24 hours to screw up a routine that I tried so hard to maintain for months!!!! It’s very exhausting for me as I’m the only caregiver at home. With her current screwed up naps, I can’t do anything. I am very very annoyed 😭 I totally understand that they tends to sleep lesser as they grow, but this is a routine she has been sticking for months and it’s just so coincidental that the entire routine got disrupted after 1 day of visiting. I could tell she’s very tired with all the eye rubs and screaming/crying but she just doesn’t want to sleep😓 Thanks for hearing me out. #1stimemom

2022-06-22My now 4mo has been almost exclusively DL since birth with the occasional bottle feed of EBM(say once every 2 weeks or so). He recently fell sick n had his overall milk intake per day drop by more than half for about a week n lost some weight. He refuses to latch n will scream his head off n arch his back like 1min/less in n so I tried bottle feeding just so I can get some milk in him, he initially also refused but came to accept it but fusses at the bottle. Thing is, he's mostly recovered now but still refuses to latch for longer than a minute without screaming crying, is this the end of my DL journey? 🥲 I'm now pumping in between feeds to clear my boobs n so I have milk to feed. Suggestions on how I can handle this situation would be great too. #breastfeeding #advicepls

2022-06-23Just entered 3rd trimester and damn the vivid dreams are back 😭 Had it during 1st trimester and was definitely an unpleasant time. Doesn't help that the dreams are mostly nightmares & would always make me feel 💩upon waking up. Obviously coupled with the restless nights, its just not a fun time. I've been having insomnia as well, you guys have any remedies to reduce it atleast? Trying to squeeze as much sleep before bb arrives. I've tried walking 4km during the day but it doesn't help in making me sleep at night 🙃

2022-06-23Hi ladies, I just experienced a miscarriage last year Nov and have been trying for a rainbow baby ever since then. I have been experiencing brown discharge for the past 2 days. Today is like day 10 DPO and the next period should be next week around 29th. The preg kit shows a relatively faint line but I don’t wanna give myself too high hopes and be disappointed in the end too. Any kind advice please! T_T

2022-06-24Hi mummies, I’m nearing my week 14 and I’ve been feeling a lot of negative thoughts. I flare and throw a temper at my husband all the time till the point that he avoids me. He even picked up ot on sat so he’s only at home on Sunday. I don’t blame him for wanting to avoid me. But I just cannot stop feeling negative. Maybe because I’m really having a difficult time being pregnant. My morning sickness has never left, I wake up every hour in the night. Bottom line is I feel terrible. 2022-06-24Hello! It’s been three months plus after pregnancy and was told by my gynae previously to do a GD test again after three months. Must I go back to my gynae for the test or can I go to polyclinic? Cannot seem to find the info when I tried to make an appointment. Also, is it too late to do the test? Now that I done some research, most website said the test is to be done around six weeks when we go for our follow up after labour. However my gynae mentioned three months. Thanks in advance!

2022-06-24Recommended by several friends to use Clarins stretch mark expert. Used it on belly, butt and thighs for my first pregnancy and my current. Didn’t have stretch marks at all. Good as a moisturiser too. The consistency is quite thick so a small amount can go a long way.

2022-06-24I am nearing week 36 of pregnancy and I get emotional. Recently my husband got reunited with an old schoolmate and they chat all day and night using voice note. I do overhear their conversations and it's really just normal chatting. But somehow I can't help but feel uncomfortable that he's chatting from morning to midnight 2am with the girl. I know I shouldn't be petty over this, and he also explained that she's just a friend and there won't be any other relationship between them. Just because I tell you how I feel about your female schoolmate that you've been chatting with recently. Yes, your friends kept asking you to stay overnight with them and invited you to drink. But have you ever thought of me being alone at home? You mean you don't know how to reject? I am going labour soon, anything can happen to me at home and if I call you, you're drunk.
