2022-06-07Its a relieved that my NB is sleeping but he is sleeping during daytime and will stay awake almost the whole night till the next morning 😭 I tried to let him stay awake during the day but failed. 2022-06-07I am 37+3 weeks today and just did my check up. Baby is still not engaged and gynae recommend inducing by 39 weeks. However she did mention that induce will be very painful hence recommending me to do squats and climb up stairs this 2 weeks to dilate naturally. Issue is I have SPD and it’s quite painful to be active, what else can I do do encourage natural dilation and contraction?

2022-06-07Need advice pls!!! Previously I went through a miscarriage for my first pregnancy in April, I was 7 weeks pregnant. Had bleeding with clots and gynae told me I may miscarry and I did. Gynae checked my blood test for hcg level and did scanning, everything was normal and cleared. Got my first period which was normal after MC on May 5th. My periods are usually regular. But end of May early June I experienced pregnancy symptoms like I did for my first pregnancy and decided to do a pregnancy test using the clear blue kit after my period was delayed for 2 days. Test came out positive with 1-2 weeks conception date. 2 days later I started having light bleeding with clots in my pee. Went to the doctor and took a blood test 3 days later, results was 0 and I was not preg. Doctor mentioned it could be my period. But it totally look like the bleeding I had for my first pregnancy. Really confused right now Did I miscarry or was it my period which was not the normal period?? Did anyone go through something similar??? And if I wanna try again, how do I check for ovulation? Extremely confused and sad!!!

2022-06-07Was diagnosed with GDM at 28 weeks , nurse called and went for zoom briefing regards the glucose meter blood take every 2 days in 1 week. Its my 1st day starting to self check at home using the glucose meter and my morning check was okay at 4.8mmol/L But as for 2 hours aft bfast at 10am , 5mins b4 lunch at 1255pm and 2 hours aft lunch at 3pm . All the reading was 7.0mmol/L , 7.1mmol/L and 7.3mmol/L . Is it normal ? I only ate small amount of food that the dietician suggested and drank plenty of plain water only drank soy milk during bfast the rest of my meal i drank plain water . The nurse gave a range of 5.5mmol/L to 6.6mmol/L aft 2 hours of every meal. Before meal the range have to be 4.4mmol/L to 5.5mmol/L But it seems like aft 2 hours it always go up to 7.0+ mmol/L

2022-06-07Hi all, i'm a fully DL bf-ing mum, recently past few days realised my 3mo(15wks) is latching for significantly shorter timing at each feed less than 4mins before he starts to pull away n scream cry, he then seem semi satisfied only to fuss for the next 30mins-1hr but refuse to drink anymore n then go to sleep. Then he would be hungry again in about 2hrs or less. He used to latch for avg of 8mins n empties my boobs fully, go about 3hrs between feeds n 6-8hrs at night, now every less than 3hr n drink less than 3-4mins :/ Any idea what may be wrong?

2022-06-08My daughter is coming to 2yrs. Since birth she always have issue w/ constipation. She can go up to 5 days without BO. Paed would give fleet and she would pass motion and back to square one thereafter. Ive tried all remedies, massages of all sort, veges (but she hate fruits) and even laxatives! But I am still on the high risk category as I am within 1:300. Wonder if I need to go for further test like Harmony. Any thoughts are appreciated!

For Part 2, I would definitely tick the 'Biological' child but I have not know and receive the Birth Certificate No. as I have not yet give birth. Should I just tick and leave the Birth Certificate No. blank? Also, what does Child Order mean and what should I write on it? As for Part 3, I understand that it is a Citizenship declaration, but I'm confused that it was divided into 2 parts of Biological Child and Stillborn Child. Both me and my husband were born as Singapore Citizen so do we have to tick the b & c although it was under Stillborn Child? Even when I asked my supervisor on this, even she did not understand and couldn't help me on this. I really appreciate if any wonderful mums could help me with this as I have to submit it soon. The instruction was to pee on the pink stripe and wait for a few mins for the line to come out right? So I did the same. But the line came out immediately and was very strong so I was stunned. So annoyed with Manulife(ReadyMummy plan) because they have been postponing my application since late 1st trim with multiple reasons and now at 3rd trimester they say only able to accept my case at topup additional of +$200(total would be$600) due to reason: low maternal weight gain 😑 Whereas my gynae told me its nothing to be worried about as my baby is growing perfectly healthy. 2022-06-10Just started at my new job for 3months and I also found out I’m preg after I joined the company, so I’m 3months rn. My nausea is really bad that food smell, transportation and essential oil triggers it or even not doing anything I can feel nauseous too. Worst thing is my mentor at work is giving me a really hard time even know she’s aware that I’m preg and her usage of essential oil is giving me a hard time as well. 2022-06-10Am diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) for years. Was assigned to another Head & Senior Consultant as my regular gynae (Prof Han) is no longer with KKH. On my 1st visit in Feb 2022, he did regular scans and told me i was not ovulating, hence, prescribed Provera (Progesterone pills). Doctor recommended me to wait awhile before consuming, as i’ve just took a booster jab which may result in period delay. Took i’m the pills in March (for 12 days) & only found out i was pregnant in May. Am currently 20 weeks pregnant, panorama test came out Low Health Risk but still somewhat worried, any advice? #advicepls #pregnancy

2022-06-10Hello Mummies, I’m a first time mum here. I am currently at 14 weeks going to 15 weeks soon & I started to have morning sickness. First trimester wasn’t like this and i am still able to eat. Now that i just entered 2nd trimester, it seems that i am not able to eat anything without vomiting / nausea. Its really taking a toll on me & i am working as a frontliner. It wasn’t easy and honestly it affects me mentally. I mean, first trimester i had covid followed by bleeding then UTI until i have to be admitted. Now 2nd trimester, I couldn’t stop vomiting. I am honestly tired and stressed out. My next appointment will be next week & i just feel like taking MC but I can’t. 😞 #firstbaby #advicepls

2022-06-10i really wanna go into labour soon 😭 i'm 37 weeks 2days today, my appt on last thurs doctor never check cervix but i feel like my cervix open a bit already 😅 so far, sometimes i have stomach cramps like need to poop but it goes away. my heartburn and indigestion is getting worst day by day. sometimes hard to breathe cause like burning feeling at my upper stomach. so far no bloody show,mucus plug or any water leakage. but my pelvic pain, sometimes i cannot walk cause its really pain feel like baby coming out if i continue to move.. next week 38 weeks doctor doing the membrane sweep she say some woman will go into labour few days after doing this . if not 38weeks 5 days doctor will induce me cause i have GDM. i'm so scared to be induce. what more can i do to make labour faster? 2nd baby, i've been doing some squating, lots of walking.

2022-06-11My 2yo has been attending school for about 8mths now & she falls sick pretty often ever since starting cc. It's like every 1-3weeks she'll fall sick once, sometimes lasting about a week :/ I would've let it be for now as I know they need some time to build up immunity but I now also have a 3mo & it's pretty hectic if they both fall sick. Any suggestions on what I can do to help her fall sick less? She takes sambuccol pretty often but not daily

2022-06-11I’m at week 13 now and have been feeling hungry every few hours. Some say to take small meals through out the day 4-5 times. Just afraid I’m gaining unnecessary weight. How do mummies cope with their hunger and what do you eat for “small meals”?
2022-06-11Hi mummies. Im at my 10 weeks + and have only been taking Obimin multivitamins as given by the doc at poly & gynae @ KKH also didn’t say anything when I told her im taking Obimin. She didn’t advice to take any other multivitamins. Im told to take fish oil ontop of Obimin at 12weeks onwards. I’ve heard different people consume Obimin later in their 12weeks onwards & have folic acid in their first trimester. Slightly concern if this is ok or enough for my baby’s development esp in the early weeks. Any mommies went through the same thing? Thank u! #firstbaby #advicepls

2022-06-11Hi fellow mummies, I’m FTM in my 29th week and in the past 2 weeks, I’ve been feeling down, many times I’ll just cry and feel sad and lonely in this journey even though my husband is physically with me. This negativity gets worse at night and I can’t seem to bring myself to do things and I keep feeling there’s nothing to smile about. Being tested positive for covid last week and having to quarantine at home made things worse. Is this normal and any tips on how to get over these hormonal mood swings? 2022-06-11I tend to hold my poop in when I’m breastfeeding or feeding baby halfway. Think I’m facing constipation now but I can’t recall when I last pooped as I’m so tired everyday.. any mummies also facing this issue when you’re the only one taking care of your baby? I try not to disturb my parents (staying with them) when I need to use the toilet cos they’ll just pass lots of unnecessary comments and I don’t like that.
