2022-05-24My baby usually poo 3 times a day. Since he turned 1 year old and changed formula to stage 2, he poo almost every after feed-milk/solids. So 4-5 poo a day. Doesn’t look like Diarrhea. Normal poo, No fever, vomiting. Anyone has this experience? Is it because of new formula introduced?

2022-05-24Hi! I got a positive ovulation test on 21 May. Used the digital test so I saw the smiley face and went on to have sex. I know instruction mentioned there isn’t a need to do the test thereafter but I’ve got curious. Took out the test and saw the line lighter than the control but still warranted a positive) I went on to do the tests in 22 and 23 May. 23May’s morning was the darkest. Does that mean ovulation has not occured or that morning was when ovulation took place?

2022-05-24Hi mummies, I'm currently 21 week pregnant and I've been having sleeping issues due to my neck pain. It's tough as I can only sleep on my left, and when I do that, my right neck / shoulder will hurt especially later in the night. My husband massaged my neck to relieve the pain but it keeps coming back. This has been going on for a few weeks and I'm losing sleep cause of this. I went to see my gynae and a nerve specialist, they can't really give any solutions to help other than taking panadol / muscle relaxant topical cream / pain killers (which I try not to take as it's not good for baby). I also just went to see a physiologist and she taught me to do some stretches and put hot pack on my neck and see if it can relieve the pain. I tried the pregnancy pillow too, but doesn't help. I'm currently sleeping on a Tempur memory foam pillow (supposedly one of the best pillows) but it doesn't really help too. Does anyone experience this before? If yes, do you mind sharing how you cope / relieve pain so you can have a better sleep? Would love to hear any advice from mummies with experience dealing with this.

2022-05-25I'm a first timer (i'm 30, hubby 34) at my week 7 today. I went to see gynae today, and she asked me to do research and decide if I'll want to do OSCAR or NIPT next time. Is OSCAR sufficient? My gf personally went OSCAR, but was told that theres some borderline issue, and it might be caused by OSCAR not super super accurate. Ended up she go for NIPT, but 2 weeks of miserable worry. Eventually results were ok, and her son is turning 1 years old in a few days. I'm not sure is her case a one-off kinda case or what. I have yet to pass 12 weeks, hence I did not share my unstable pregnancy (am bleeding, on hormones jabs & daily pills) to others. I am glad that despite the years of challenges & spikes with my love ones, I never lose hope as she's my precious. Mummy out there who are going thru this, I'm not sure how you feel but every moment that I go through with her from dressing to application make my heart aches. 2022-05-27I'm in week7 day2, my embriyo is 0.92cm (measured 2 days ago). Am wondering when can I start to see mini baby bump? At least prolly I'll feel safe, I'll know the embriyo is growing. I envy some mummies that they have baby bumps early. I read online that underweight/smaller size mummies will see visible bump earlier? Is't true? I havent been able to exercise due to my ovarian cysts operation in late Jan22. Was only discharged in mid Mar22. My tummy muscles are basically non existence (I ate and sleep whole day for the whole 1 month hosp leave). Since so, will my tummy show faster? 😔 I'm 1.63m, 45kg. 2022-05-27Hi mamas. I had light spotting this morning when i woke up and gradually it got more. Till this moment fills half a normal pad with slight clots. Went to private gynae and he can’t seem to find heartbeat via tummy scan and the scan shows smaller than supposed size. I’m supposed to be 9weeks but scan shows only 7 weeks 5 days. I went to see the same gynae 2 weeks ago, and he did vaginal scan was able to hear heartbeat. He suspects that baby have stop growing and i should just monitor and see if it naturally “come out” I’m still in denial stage.. should i consider second option and head to NUH a&e? 2022-05-28My 14 month old has slept from about 6.30pm straight for 12 hours since for the past months with 2 naps in the day. Recently, we’ve noticed that although we bed him around the same time, he’ll toss and turn till at least 7.30, sometimes 8. He also fights his pm nap though he’ll still rest for about 45mins-1hr. What’s the take of some mummies out there… skip nap and sleep at usual time to keep routine or nap and sleep later? He also wakes slightly later when he goes down late

2022-05-28I went for a growth scan at week 28 as I was found out to be of high risk preeclampsia at my 2nd trimester detailed scan. During that growth scan, my baby’s head circumference was smaller than his gestational age. At week 31 + 3 days, did another scan and baby’s HC is at week 30. My gynae suggested another growth scan at week 33 and to check brain’s structure but all the detailed scan before this showed no abnormalities to the brain structure. Should I be worried? Can the brain structure change at such a late stage of pregnancy? Thanks!

2022-05-28I’m currently in my 15 week, and I have been drinking more than 2l of plain water a day. Yes I do run to the toilet to pee which isn’t a problem but I feel so dehydrated. I do have dry throat and currently with a little runny nose and phlegm that runs down in the middle of the night which is so difficult to breathe and sleep. 2022-05-28My FIL says we cannot say anything good about baby in front of the baby. Once, I mentioned that baby is very well behaved when we go out, hardly fussing. He said babies can hear and understand and will do the opposite so we shouldn't say good things about baby in front of baby, so as not to jinx it. Erm...?? *rolls eyes* So basically we are stopped from saying anything nice about our baby in front of him. And he doesn't ever say anything good about baby either. And this is his first and only grandchild. 🙄 ...Is this really a thing? Do your parents or in-laws have this weird 'rule' too?
2022-05-28Today is my EDD and I noticed light bleeding on my panties and when I pee. I only feel slight period pain like contractions once awhile, some pressure at lower back. Do I wait for contractions to get more intense before going hospital? Am unable to contact gynae office today as they are closed on Sundays.
