2022-05-02Hi mummies. Did you ever encounter a very bad Blocked milk duct? I am experiencing it on my right breast now and it's very painful that I cant hardly move my right hand too. It started of when I started to miss pumping session , oh ya coz I'm latching and pumping and also giving formula to my 1 mth 2week baby. So if I'm outside I will just give her formula. Anw Tried warm compress, massage. I even consult a lactation consultant, it was a painful massage where they try to clear my block duct , went for the session 3 days straight , and after each session I came home with a fever. Now my another appt is Gona be 2 day later which is on the 4 may. But my breast is feeling very painful , I can only lay straight. I couldn't even give attention to my baby. Should I continue the lactation session or go to hospital ? Please help.

2022-05-03i’m about to start work and i’m getting anxious because my LO starts crying when my mother carries her. my mother will be looking after my LO. she just turned 3mths this week and only started crying nonstop a few days back when my mother carried her, tried a few times and she’ll cry nonstop until she reaches my arm or hub’s. however, she’s perfectly fine with my mother when she plays with her on bed or anywhere can even laugh and smile, just cannot carry her. before that, my mother was able to carry my LO without her crying. i know at this stage, my LO is starting to see smell sense things clearer..but my mother has been there weekly to interact with her. hmmm…what should i do to improve the situation? any mummies experienced similar issues before?

As far as possible, i would love to breastfeed my newborn but it’s quite depressing as i couldn’t find the right positions to latch and baby is not interested in latching. Told Hubby and he commented “anything i can, but latching is none of my business.” which i’m quite disappointed and felt depressed about it.

2022-05-03I might be seen as unfillal as I'm complaining about my mum. But she's always on my nerves. She has the habit of buying sales items that she feels is worth it and ended up her own house is like a warehouse even living room also have boxes of her things(no kidding). Me and my brother moved out as we got our own homes and both of our rooms became storeroom for her things. The actual storeroom is also full, as well as the bathtub in her room are full of her boxes of stuffs. Her stuffs are all accumulated over the years, many years. When my brother and me have our own homes, she already gave us her things for our houses but she still have many many more at home. Our homes are all her stuffs. The problem is she never stops buying and is as stubborn as a bull. She is unwilling to donate as well as she says all her stuffs are good quality. For example, my kitchen has around 50 different types of plates bowls etc which are all given by her. My pots pans cooking utensils etc are all my mum's. Everytime she comes to my house she will bring the things she bought. Like recently she brought not 1 but 4 Queen bedsheets to my house and says that she bought during sales and want to give me. Bedsheets is subjective due to the comfort and design etc. Furthermore I told her I have enough bedsheets already and have no more space. She insisted saying these are new. I still rejected her it gets very tiring and frustrating tt I have to reject her every single time. She is just living in her own world. Already scolded her many times but still doesn't listen. Also like recently she told me she bought tefal rice cooker on sales $69 and says she will take my current rice cooker and give me the new one like hello? I never ask her to buy. Also my current rice cooker is tefal bought 1 year ago and has not much difference from the one she bought. How do i stop all these nonsense? My husband and I have quarrelled over my mum before too as our storeroom have unused pots and pans stored for 5 years all hers. And she's my mum seems like nothing much I can do. We have tried every possible method to reject her already. Also I'm currently pregnant with my 2nd, don't know gender yet and my mum already bought baby girl clothes saying these are on sales and good quality. But the point is the clothes will be wasted if baby is not girl right. I don't want her to waste money buying unnecessary things that we dont want. Even we have tried another method instead if she wants to buy den buy what we wants but in the end to no avail. Also we tried and says we can bring LO often to her house but she and my dad have to clear the stuffs otherwise its dangerous for LO as everywhere is hazard. They tried to clear up but in the end like never clear up much. Still alot of stuffs. *face palm* She likes to buy sales items and later on give excuses to give us. 2022-05-04Hi mummies, my LO is almost 3months old and she can only stomach a maximum of 120ml (rarely and might vomit). Her average volume consumed is 90-100ml. She takes formula milk. She can sleep well at night and we dream feed her which may take a long time and it’s killing me because I really need longer stretches of sleep 😥 So, I want to sleep train her but if we don’t feed her every 3 hours, she will consume very little and I’m afraid she won’t get enough nutrients. My questions are 1) how much does your LO drink at 3 months old? Each feed/whole day? 2) any one with similar experiences and how did you overcome it? I really hoped to start sleep training her before I start work but it doesn’t seem feasible if I want her to drink sufficiently.
2022-05-04I just went for check up and my baby weighs 3.2kg. The doctor said the baby is on the big side and if at 38 weeks, the baby exceeds 3.5kg, I will get induced. I am quite worried about this and really don't want to be induced or get a c section. Is there any way I can control baby's weight? Did anyone of you give birth naturally with a big baby? 2022-05-05i am 8 weeks pregnant! so yesterday in the middle of the night, i woke up due to stomach cramps. i decided to went to the toilet and tried to poop, i did. it was like diarhoea!!! had cold sweats in the toilet but manage to leave the toilet just in time as my husband was waiting outside. vomitted liquid after that and felt so much better. only poop once though so far. doctor says its normal pregnancy symptoms. i didnt went to my own gynae cus i had to book an appt and also i am scheduled for one on 10th may. i hope all is well with my babies guys. it might be due to the raye food i had the past few days haha #pregnancy #firstbaby #advicepls

2022-05-05I can strongly feel that my husband had a strong desire for having sex but he just doesn't want to admit or even open up about it. Even I had the same desire but I'm just afraid coz I've read a post saying that some ladies noticed a spotting after having sex. Or probably there are some other risks that I missed out? However, I really miss having sex with my husband and by the way my husband kissed me, with his heavy breathing sound near my neck and even at times he squeezed my boobs and butt, I can feel that he want it. 2022-05-05I just gave birth 4 months ago and I get to know I'm pregnant again. Still waiting for my 1st check up. I had a backache yesterday and spotting then today I got bleeding (dark brown) which cover my panty liner and mild cramping . I guess I'm 12weeks pregnant. 2022-05-06Hi mummies. So I just finished my 36 week check up with my gynae and gynae informed my baby is on the smaller side. Baby is on the 11.7 centile, weighing 2.2kg. I am also losing weight based on the previous appointment 3 weeks ago which is 67kg to 60.1kg. Not having much appetite and also I am not a SAHM. I have a 2 year old who I send to the daycare and I also work in the office (normal office hours). Also, I perspire excessively which didn't happen to my 1st born. I am worried as my first born was born healthily at 3kg, natural delivery and since this is the 2nd, I am worried facing all these for the first time. I tried to eat a lot as well as munch on snacks a lot but it seems like it doesn't help much. Also, dairy products makes me barf this time around. Doctor adviced to be induced if baby is below 15 centile which I am worried about. Does anyone know how induction happens and how to gain weight/grow my baby's centile up? Thank you.

2022-05-06Hi mummies! How should I start… So basically, my mil is very obsessed with my first son. Before he was born she was obsessed already and touching and rubbing my stomach which my husband asked me to! After giving birth, I can see that she treats my son as her son.. and on the first night at home, my son sleeps with her. And the reason why is that, my husband wants the both of us to rest which got me upset and away from my just 2-day child... As months go by, whenever I’m not happy about MY MIL. The husband refuses to listen and care for his mom’s feelings. Until now, my son is 4 months old. I feel like the husband doesn’t support my parenting style and letting MY MIL TAKE IN CHARGE! And mind you, I could not do anything about it even when I talked about it. I feel like my position as a wife is to give birth & let whatever MIL wants to do. 2022-05-06Currently I’m claiming for birth complications and was rejected due to not serious enough. My water bag leaking and have a emergency c-section at week 36. Baby was born premature. AIA told me that this does not considered as complications. Because my GD is average (have to be over 12) and my blood pressure not high enough (have to be above 160bpm)
2022-05-06hello mummies! i have been having sharp pains on my right abdomen. im about 14 weeks pregnant. happened afew nights typically in the morning about 2-3am. yesterday was the worst. i couldnt even straighten my legs. the sharp pain lasted about 45mins before i was able to sleep again. does this happened to any of you as well? is this normal?

2022-05-06Hi mummies and mum-to-be. I am currently on my 2nd pregnancy and my first pregnancy was failed as I had miscarriage in around 9 weeks? So I tested positive around end of april and went to checkup in Polyclinic yesterday and its still positive(Just to be sure for myself) And today I had a mild pain on my lower tummy, not the menses cramp feels. recently when I had to go to the toilet, I saw blood clotting on my pantyliner and I am afraid that it is the same issue as my previous miscarriage. As my next follow up appt ultrasound scan will be end of May so any tips or advice on how to prevent this for happening?

I was told by old folks that I can begin to introduce baby's first food (Like Gerber's kinds) or cereal nestum mixed with milk. However, their packaging stated that it's suitable for 6 months age and above. I'm afraid to start soft food for my baby because I was told that there would chances babies will get colic. However the first food from Gerber's are suitable for ages 4 months and up. Do i try that first?

Literarily he will stop having sex and just say sorry.. he say within a week if we do so still i can get pregnant but i think its really important that he do it the day im ovulating.. 2022-05-07Hey there! My last period was on March 9 and it lasted the usual 7 days. My next predicted period was suppose to come on April 22 (according to Flo) but it's been 2 months and I've yet to have a visit from Ms Flow. In between April , I did had slight bleeding (a streak of red mucus like?) And it was only for a day or two. Took a pregnancy test the other week but came out negative. Should I do another test to rule out pregnancy and then wait for period to come? Or should I head to the clinic to get checked? I've had irregular periods before giving birth to my son but it has been regular since. Looking forward to hear some advices please. Thank you!!
2022-05-07Any mother has similar experience like me? My NIPT test shows 41% Turner's syndrome for the baby. But this test has only 26% accuracy. Doctor say can ignore or can go for amniocentesis for confirmation. Want to see if others has similar result like mine and what's your decision?
