2022-03-07I think I still can't get over what my mil did to me. Though she did unintentionally but it hurts me till now. How did u all managed? Example, when baby behave certain ways, she will say is baby sick or what. We will say baby didnt just behavioral n she till date still question why bb this n that. Secondly, when baby cranky she will say why again n compare last time her children not like that... I would say baby different... n she will comment isit never play with baby...but we did almost 24/7 ... I am already stressed I managing baby n I cannot afford to also need handle another situation. But will meet up often so I cannot say no.. even if I wan avoid questioning.. How do u all manage?

2022-03-07Hi there Mummies. Past few days my LO 1 year 4 months been rejecting her milk. Shes drinking lesser milk nowadays and also reject the whole bottle some days. Tried many ways to feed her with milk but it does not work and it makes her more cranky afterall. What shall I do? Below will be her daily routine. -Usually will drink her milk 4 times a day and finished it but she starts to reject it recently and I changed her teat hoping it helps but no it got worse. Now she will drink half of the milk out of 4 times. SHOULD I CHANGE THE MILK? -Shes on solid food and fed twice a day. No problem so far she finished it up and drink plain water as usual. CAN BE THE PLAIN WATER INTAKE MAKE HER FULL AND REJECT MILK? -Shes always very active and now cutting down on one day nap in the morning only and be awake all the way until she sleeps at night. I did another test with Guardian kits (last one in the box), and it's indeed positive! I read about the notorious blue dye tests like Clearblue and their evaporation line driving mothers nuts in reading results, so I tested with a red dye one from Guardian. Is this considered positive? 2022-03-08Hi my dear ladies..i am on my first trimester, week 7. I had trouble eating at first but my appetite has improved now. Only one problem, i will eat half way and then suddenly no appetite for that food, i stop immediately. It happens to all the foods and drinks that i take. 2022-03-08Hi! I had an ectopic pregnancy recently and had my right tube removed as my right tube was severely inflamed and I was already experiencing bleeding 4 days prior. I was 8 weeks pregnant when I had my right tube removed, the embryo was in my right tube. :( The doctors told me that I shouldn't have a problem conceiving after but I would like to hear from those who had a tube removed, how long after did you start to try again and by when do the pain after intercourse gets better? And how long did you TTC before succesfully conceive a healthy baby? I did womb scraping as well as my uterine lining was thick. 2022-03-08Hi IVF mummies, my gynae encouraged me to induce at about week 38. He was saying that the risk of stillborn is present (for all birth) and also encouraging me to go for Csect. He said that ivf babies are hard to have and want to take all the precautions to have a safe birth and baby. I am currently at 29weeks and not having any complications so far. So I am not very sure should listen to the doctor or not. Even if i am going to induce, I would still want to go for natural birth instead of Csect, unless the situation forced for it. Would like to know whether anyone's doctor have the same stand?

2022-03-09Hi mummies, im FTM, its been almost 2mo become mom. My breast milk very little, sometimes 1day im not pumping because not feel pain on my breast & if i touch no lump also. My milk supply for both breast around 5ml, sometimes 1days i only pump once, because i take baby alone since discharge from hospital & need to do household thing. Initially applied N1 for him 2023 but got lucky when centre called me if I'm interested in a placement this April 😅 So of course , me and hubs took the opportunity to send toddler to school (mainly to let him be independent and learn new things?) Soooo my concern is .... I've never been separated from my son and I'm not sure how he will deal with going to school. What should I expect? Any advises that are practical for me? 2022-03-09I have the most annoying, irritating, selfish mil ever.. she is the worst. I hate her so much.. Im currently covid positive in this entire household. When i told her abt this, she is very quick to point finger at my family. She said that i got covid from them. HELLO?? My family alrdy tested negative since 1 week ago and i went to sleepover at their house 1 week ltr???? She always like to find fault with me & my family.. like this one time, i reach home with my baby at arnd 6.30pm from my mom's place. (Btw, we're Muslim) so at night when my baby started crying for no reason which he rarely does, she was quick again to blame me. Instead of making things better or trying to help.. she very old fashion also.. she said "you la you come home after dusk right just now thats why baby crying" btw baby started crying at 11pm not 7pm.. i told her off.. i very angry alrdy.. i said "since when i reach home aft dusk??? I reach at 6.30pm.. dont anyhow say only" then she paiseh she replied "ohh issit bc i nvr notice".. aftwards keep pestering me and husb to play quran on hp la what la.. i told her i everynight on.. this baby crying not bc of hantu!! Baby crying bc maybe his tummy got wind or he feelong colicky.. all th while when i come home aft 10pm, baby nvr cry also.. how come u nvr say anything? This 1 time baby cry and i nvr come home late u wanto start pointing finger??? Issit you waiting for chance for u to blame me??? Knn this old lady ccb!! And now i covid positive.. i NEVER even ask her to look after my baby.. she alrdy said to me "Eh dont expect me to take care of him ah i alrdy so old hand not strong anymore.. sorry ah not bc i dont want-" b4 she can finish her sentence i told her i said eh i nvr even ask u to look after la why u so scared?? 2022-03-09I am currently pregnant with my 2nd. I have been a ftm for a year and now my elder child is in childcare. Supposed to look for job since elder one in childcare but realised I'm pregnant with my 2nd. Continued to look for job despite being pregnant. Went for 2 interviews so far. One of the interviews seems promising and pay is high, however i can feel its a high demanding role and with that comes with extra stress as its managerial role. I don't mind a managerial role however during the interview they told me I am required to work after office hours too and ask me to make arrangement for my child. Their working hours is Mon to Thurs 8.30am to 6pm and Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm. Also their official working hours is already trying to hit the maximum no. of hours per week and still require me to OT. I do not know how long do they need me to stay back in office everyday? And I don't like that I'm not able to pick my child or do mom duties at night as they request alternative care arrangement for my child. This job location is 40mins away from home however im require to stay back after office hours in this case it will be no difference from getting a job that is far from my house. Should I accept or give up this high paying but demanding job? Ideally I'm looking for a job that is not too far from my house so that I can pick my child conveniently or whenever I need to and yet earn reasonable amount to help substain the household income since 2nd one is coming. Furthermore im afraid this job will be too stress for me and especially after the arrival of newborn, the first year is not easy. Or should I continue to keep a lookout for other jobs or continue to be SAHM for another year? Appreciate your thoughts and advise pls thanks! #advicepls #pleasehelp

2022-03-10I had hyperthyroidism for a decade and was normal for 1-2 years. Recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism in my second trimester and gynae asked me to eat thyroxine. I checked back with my usual endocrine doctor and he say my readings are actually normal (they usually refer to T4 and TSH) Do anyone know if your gynae looks at “free T3 or T4 readings? My T3 is Low but T4 and TSH is of normal readings.

2022-03-10Feel frustrated, i feel like i have no say over my child. Sent my LO to nursery, i think it is quite common that kids will cry when go to sch, when he familiarise, cry will stop eventually. But what happen is my MIL camp outside kindergarden, less than 30mins when she hear my LO crying, she immediately pick him home. Everyday also lidat, she keep saying cannot lidat let him cry. I said let the teacher handle, u dont keep bring him home must let him familiarise but she just dont listen.😠 she insisting must bring him home. Dont u think is overly protected? 2022-03-10Hi mummies. I'm a preschool teacher currently in my first trimester. It's been really uncomfortable to sit on the small chairs we have in school but all our furniture are child sized. I noticed I have to use a lot of core strength to get up from the chair and move about. It's a challenge especially because I'm quite big sized. 2022-03-10Im feeling at my worst, how do i overcome this. I just gave birth few days back. Im having problem with breastfeeding my baby directly as she just wont latch on. But i managed to pump the milk and bottle fed her. So i finally get to pump out the most milk, standby for my baby while she's asleep. I was in the toilet when my baby wake up for milk, and when i came to see my husband feeding her formula milk instead of the one i prepared. He throw away my milk thinking that its wasnt warm up and been there too long. It breaks my heart. i been crying non stop. it wasnt easy pump out and it was tiring. I feel like a failure.

2022-03-11Hi, I was 39 when I learned that we are pregnant with our 1st bb now I'm 16 weeks and I got covid 6 Mar fever and body ache subside after 3 days buy my cough is terrible and bcoz of that I have blood clot my hubby called my OB and he asked to take a bed rest so I did but in that night we decide to go kkh bcoz of anxiety don't know what is happening. So we went to kkh and bb is ok but I still don't understand the cause of my blood clot. Anyone experience the same and you OB advise?

2022-03-11Not sure if anyone experienced what I encountered. I had ectopic pregnancy last year Jul and go through laparoscopy. And from Sep, me and my husband try for new pregnancy again. But on and off, I have bleeding flow out from my vagina after sexual intercourse. Sometime is dripping a few drop of bright red blood when I urine after sex. Sometime is pinkish blood when I wipe. It's strange as I never have that before my laparoscopy. Last month, I was tested with covid positive. I am on my 5th day of period. Usually my period cycle is 28 days and it will be clear by 8th day from the period start. But this time, my period prolong to 11th to 12th day then clear. And this month, my period is late for the 5th day already. I take pregnancy test on the 2nd day I missed my period and went to clinic in the 3rd day I missed my period and tested this morning which is the 5th day I missed my period. But the result is negative. I am in dilema. I am seeing a specialist next month but hopefully someone can advise on this.#pleasehelp #period #lateperiod #COVID_19

2022-03-11My baby is two months old and is rejecting bottle (breast milk not enough have to supplement with formula). We tried four brands of bottle, change the teats for faster flow, change people who do the feeding, checked temperature, feed at same place, even starve her a few hours, but she still stubbornly rejecting bottle. We put the breast milk into the bottle and fail as well, so it’s not the formula that matters. Any mummy experienced this and any advice?

To reduce wastage and reuse the bottles I have, should I just get the teats my baby likes instead of the bottle + teat? Example: pigeon PPSU bottle + MAM teats. I’m thinking of buying just the MAM teats and use it on pigeon bottles that I already have, instead of buying new sets of MAM bottles. Is there something I’m missing if I don’t use the full setup?

2022-03-12Hi Mummies, Just wanted to raise awareness about this "Baby Expo" Warehouse Sales at 1 Jalan Wangi facebook group to avoid Mummies from making a wasted trip with a shockingly rude and disappointing experience. It was mentioned on their facebook pg that they only welcome genuine buyers and that buyers should visit if you want to make a purchase. However, their description on their expectations of genuine buyers is ambiguous and this is definitely a business operating model that I don't think any businesses have taken on. As such, I would like to take this opportunity to define what their interpretation of "genuine buyer" is: 1. Be prepared to receive one warning to start purchasing things within the first five minutes once you step into the shop. 2. If you're still not purchasing anything within 10 minutes, you're deemed as window shopping (even if you needed time to look through the stuffs and is genuinely deciding what to buy) and there is a grumpy staff/boss lady who will send you out of the store in a rude manner. Here's the quote of her exact words and actions: Her: "No window shopping are allowed." Me: "But how do I know what I want to buy if I'm not even given the time to look around?" Her: "I only entertain customers who makes large purchases, all those customers who came already know what they want and have made $200, $700 plus of purchases with me. Look at my paynow account, 不是骗的。我不缺你的生意。” All in all, it was a disappointing experience for me and my hubby as we had took the time and effort to come down and visit their shop in hope of purchasing whatever we need for the arrival of our baby. I understand their business intent of forcing buyers into impulse purchase by using such practice, however, it is not right to advertise their business with ambiguous terms on what "genuine buyers" are to them, attracting customers to come down to their shop only to be kicked out if they did not meet their definition of what "genuine buyers" is. Since they are not afraid to tell customers that they have no lack of big businesses, I think it's only fair to the customers if they had depicted clearly and specifically on what their expectation of "genuine buyers" is, thus preventing loss of time on the customer's side and the unhappy experience that both sides have to receive. There were many ways that they could have advertised themselves in a way that they had wanted to present themselves, such as stating that they were wholesale retailers who only entertain large purchases, or even requesting for a list of pre-order items to be made before coming down to the shop. Perhaps, they were unable to express their stand clearly because they lack the language ability to do so? Hence, I hope by highlighting my experience here can help to prevent future victims. 🙏🏻
