2021-02-15My 5 month old twins start to drink less milk compare to last time.. they suck the teats.. but never drink so the milk flow never decrease.. they enter infant become like that.. one of the twins start few days before enter infant.. check with pd nothing wrong.. what should i do?#advicepls
2021-02-15Just needed to rant. The plan was to go to the zoo today. My MIL called last night and said we can't go, because her neighbour went there when she was pregnant and now her baby looks like a monkey. Had a huge fight with my husband because of this.
2021-02-15I jus want to rant.....sometimes i felt my PIL jus brainless... they remove my baby car seat becoz they said the car seat occupy 1 seat coz we got 4 ppl, with car seat only can sit 3 ppl. I am so angry, few times wannna ask them to get out of the car. Always carry my baby on thier lap instead. No safety common sense at all! Told them many times it is the road traffic rules n safety but they jus too stubborn..
2021-02-15I was told by PD that my 4yo child is suffering from a severe eczema (discoid, atopic) with many different forms of them. She is itching (until bleeding) every minute, day in and out, especially itchy during 3 to 4am DAILY. She even had an insect bite when she was 3yo which is so toxic and went into impetigo that lasted her 1-year until now, with combination of eczema, her skin condition deteriorated. We tried using steriod cream (fucicort) but it doesn’t get any better at all. The spread started from her ankles and now to almost everywhere except her body. Both her 2 limbs and 2 legs (front & back) were heavily scarred with all these fresh wounds. It pains me so BADLY that I wanted to cry but I can’t, it will only make my child feel worse about herself. Pls....can anyone help me or tell me where to seek further advise or diagnosis regarding this heartbreaking condition?

2021-02-15My 7mo attends ifc and is currently on two solids a day (lunch, snack). Lunch is served at 11am after which the children have nap time from 1215pm. As a result, my child has been staying awake from the time he wakes up till nap time at 1215...at times his wake time can be as long as 5+ hours. At 7mo, he should ideally still be on 2-3 naps with wake time 2.5-3h max... Some days at ifc he only has 1 nap and refuses to sleep till bed time. On weekends at home, he still takes 3 naps at the usual timings. What should I do to ensure he gets enough rest at ifc? The ifc schedule is fine for older kids in 1 nap but not a 7mo. Any advice would be appreciated :(

2021-02-15hello mummy, my son is seven months plus and he only eats cerealac. I have tried giving him some other home cooked puree and it seems he doesn’t like it at all. Fruits and vegetables like sweet potatoes or watermelon he still doesn’t like it. Each time I make him try new food he will give a face like he’s about to puke. I don’t mind giving him cerealac Every day but what if he starts to grow up will he be rejecting any other foods? I’m so stressed right now what should I do?

2021-02-15this is my first pregnancy, an unplanned one. I get mood swings every now and then but this time round, it is so bad that I cry so easily for the past 2 - 3 days. basically I started feeling that it is so unfair that my lifestyle had to be changed so much. this includes stopping on smoking, drinking, eating raw food, & that big cut on drinking coffee tea coke, bbt and cold stuff. all these while my partner can just go on with his usual lifestyle. he tried, to not smoke with me. but everytime we go out with friends, it will be his cheat day. Well, we go out often. now I just want to isolate myself at home instead of watching everyone do everything that I wanted. how do I accept all these and stop crying? I'm really worried that my mood affects my baby.

2021-02-15Currently 30 wks but baby’s kick has gotten much lesser than before. Usually active at night however kicks are also less stronger than before. Subtle Movements in the tummy also made my tummy uneasy. Feels like the intestine is twisted. Is this normal?

2021-02-16Hey mummies, I have just cross into 3rd trim with my twinnies. I have GD as early as 14weeks and no, i wasnt prediabetic before. I am on insulin since 16weeks of my pregnancy and boy, it was tough.. First few weeks of intakes of insulin and monitoring doesnt seems to keep my sugar to the level that i have to be at. I was so lost and always confused of wat i can eat or not. And then i saw my dad that is diabetic kept drinking boiled plain water with pandan leaves extract daily.. He kept boiling his water with a few pcs of pandan leaves. Out of curiousity, i check on whats the benefit of this pandan leaf and it is proven that it helps u to balance ur sugar in ur blood. Now daily my dose of water intake has been plain water boiled with pandan leaves. I just boiled some and put them in the fridge so i can drink it with every meal. Its still ur normal plain water with a nice smell of pandan. Try it! It works for me and i have never stop drinking it. No matter if i accidentally ate too much carbo or sugar, it helps me not to get overboard the sugar level that i need to be at. U can also drink it as pernormal without meals. I just wanna share this as it helps me alot and i know how stressful and annoying it is when u cant really enjoy ur pregnancy cravings. Best wishes to all of us!

It happen last year when nurse feed my newborn using disposable transparent small cups (which actually to put medicine) i couldnt LO to my newborn as i'm not feeling well. Was kind of shocked because how a newborn able to drink a milk like an adult and might be not save for the newborn. Based on my experience, hospital will provide disposible milk bottle for newborn, as im again giving birth this year I'm not sure should i standby a milk bottle just an incase if anything happens to me while i cant LO my baby. 2021-02-16My 2 month old baby now only poops once every 2 or 3 days. PD says it's normal but baby has been so fussy lately. He used to poop several times a day in his first month. I tried to eat more fibre but it doesn't seem to be working. Baby is on mixed feeding - formula 2-3x a day and the rest are breastmilk. Is there anything tt I can do to make him poop more frequently? #1stimemom
2021-02-16Is it just me? I was initially so happy i was pregnant. It has been almost 6 weeks plus now and I hasn't been happy since. The nausea makes me tired and unmotivated at home and at work. I no longer feel like going out and meet my friends. Just wish to be get home from work as quickly as possible. I dread train rides and going to work. I thought I will be excited to read all the baby books, but I end up just refusing to do anything. Just feel moody, lazy, tired, unmotivated. 2021-02-16My 3 weeks old daughter is suddenly very awake and doesn’t want to go to sleep. Used to be easy, feed and she’ll be sleepy and just put her back in cot. Only fusses when diaper is soiled, and when she’s hungry again. Now she’s not having it. She’ll go quiet during feeding and unlatches from the mother after she falls asleep, put her in the cot and she immediately stirs up and cries. Carry her and cradle her and sing to her and she doze off, put her back in and cry again. Checks her diapers and change, feed again in case for comfort feeding. She falls asleep and put her back in cot and immediately same thing happens again. This can go on for hours! Instead of 2-3 hours feeding interval it’s become 6-7 hours of just cradling and re-latching just to keep her at that “sleep mode”. We are at our wits end. Don’t know what to do! #pleasehelp #advicepls

2021-02-17Hi everyone, can anyone identify what bites are these? For the past 2 months my baby has been getting these random blisters on his arms And legs. We went to see a Paediatrician and she gave us creams medication saying it was some kind of bug bite. After which it did heal. But last night, my baby woke up crying and I only realised his swollen leg with these blisters. Just to let you know he sleeps on a mattress next to me (sometimes I will sleep w him on his mattress and his mattress is new) and he wears long sleeve and long pants to sleep as well. I haven’t gotten any bites, has anyone experienced this before and how do I stop them?

I just wish my husband can be more mature and more supportive. he did help me, altho hes a lil impatient when soothing baby to sleep. and i know hes tired for work, but then at times he lazy to even help me out. really wish he can be in my shoes with all these things. I felt like lately im tired of my husband even tho he did no wrong at all. He did concern me by showing some small gesture that clearly he loves me but i just dk why am i being like this...its really sucks that i have to deal with my own mental health alone although im surpressing it for years already. 2021-02-18Hello everyone.. I have my baby through iui process and I'm 3rd time lucky!! But somehow I realise each time I went to see our gynae, the bill come out to be around 200 +/- abit for consultation, ultrasound, pee test and supplement pill if needed. However I heard from friends about their gynae package which is like 700 plus and the package start from week 8 or so till them giving birth. The package my friends took up include consultation, ultrasound, pee test and supplement pill. However, I had ask our gynae about the package and package only start after the details scan at week 20, and is about $1200- 1400 for 10 session of consultation, ultrasound, and pee test. Supplement/medicine is not included. From week 20 to giving birth, probably I will be seeing the gynae for another 8 time. I'm not sure should we continue to see the same gynae or change because of the bill And I have not find out about the gynae charges for giving birth.. And I'm worry since the one we seeing now is kind of expensive compare to what I had hear from my friends.

2021-02-18Hi mummies.. Need some advise here. My 13 month old baby is quite small size since birth and has been on the lower percentile. She was full term but just small size. She takes 3 solid meals per day and is on full breastmilk. Eating wise not a very good eater. She gets full fast and does not consume much too. Otherwise she is healthy, active and hitting milestones well. I am thinking of transitioning from breastmilk to fresh cow's milk during the day for my baby and continue to latch at night. My son is very active, so he prefer run here run there, explore all thing around him, can put anything into his mouth also. He doesn’t know which one is danger or not. During at home, there always have 1 ppl to follow him for protect him. At school, we understood that can’t have 1 ppl to see and follow him as the teacher also have responsible with other kids. 2021-02-19Hi mummies out there.. I’ve just gotten my FTS results from KKH taken at week 12. Report shows that my baby NT 3.1 which is higher than normal 2.6. Sonographer couldn’t find baby nasal bone too. Other than that the rest of the structures are visible. During the sonogram my baby was very active and sonographer took a long time to complete my scan taking 1.5 hours. My hcg level is at 0.7 lower than normal =1. Thus this has elevated my risk for trisomy 21=1:14, trisomy 18=1:181, trisomy 13=1:889. 2021-02-19Hello. My baby just turned 2mo 6days and she is on full breastmilk. I do direct latching only and recently I noticed a few things : 1) She doesn't empty my boobs anymore. She used to be able to empty it within 5mins, no distractions, just sucking till satisfaction. Nowadays she gets fussy during latching, pulling and tugging alot so I will have to re-latch multiple times because she is still looking for milk and will cry for it. My flow can be quite fast as it's continuous dripping so I didn't think it was slow flow that cause her to become fussy. I am wondering why she tugs and pulls so much now :( 2) She doesn't poop for 2-3 days but we still get decent number of wet diapers. Is this normal? P.s/ 3) She was taking bottle as and when I need to head out but recently she doesn't seem to know how to suck the bottle anymore. Not even the pacifier. She will cry in hunger but refuse to suck the bottle, even when I'm not anywhere near my sister who is helping me feed her. Should I start introducing bottles to her alrdy?
