2021-02-08Hello Me and my boyfriend told our respective families and my family suggested that I am to abort due to both of family unable to support both of us and would be the only one taking care of the child. I am 12 weeks in and I feel sad cause I have no choice as I have to abort it. I was told if I give birth not only would I suffer, both my boyfriend and the baby will suffer. Due to lack of support financially. We yet to get married or get a house because it happened all of the sudden. Would there be other solutions that allows me to give birth or would it really be a better choice to really follow what the adults mentioned - abortion?

2021-02-08Hi mummies, my 1yo teeth has gap and food is stuck in between the gap. How do I get the food out given that it is not easy to get my LO to sit still, open his mouth and let me floss? I did successfully managed to floss but it seem to push the food further down in between the gap. The bristles on baby toothbrush are also round edges and fatter, hence unable to reach the gap. 2021-02-08What to do if ur husband doesnt help out with taking care if kids ? Does not give any money to buy kids grocery and school fee. Once in awhile will help to vacumme the floor only .. but gives the impression to his parents that he has taking care and helping out and paying for everything and kids . He will only help to carry her sometimes in public becus people around are watching . Basically behind closed door he doesnt care and oy wants to watch tv when he is at home and ignoring everything . Sometimes when we are out he will say in a playful manner and expects me to pay . At night , ive to fork out money to buy dinner for all of us as he comes home late . He does pay for the house sp power and wifi . Each month less than $300 in total and the rest he spend on himself and takes grab everyday thru and forth to work and doesnt wants to give me any allowance. How do i deal with this ?
2021-02-08Baby is 19mths old . She could roughly understand what is going on through our action and some key words . When brought to mil place , sometimes she would jokingly or wanna try to scare my child by using the cane to hit on something and telling her she would beat . Can tell that she is afraid and i do not want her to get the ideal of her not doing something wrong and mil want to beat her and so on ... i do not like it and do not want to introduce violence to my child at such at young age especially she doesnt really understand everything . She would also start to do this hitting and scolding action when my child start to whines when shes feeling scared and cranky at her place . And secondly , my child will imitate and do this to her friemd in playground. And it happens before , luckily the parents of the kids is understanding despite there were injuries. But i guess she just dont understand ... my husbamd know what i dislike but just turned to me to look at my reaction . He is just happy tht his mother playing with her. And they also encourage habit like watching tv , and phone to her when at home i does not even allowed her to start such a habit for her own good . Husbamd does not try to stop even though he knows all these . In the end , all the taking care of the child and consequemces i have to bare in raising the child . They just spoilt the child just like that . Mqybe they think its nothing , but in the long run its gonna leave an impact ... Somehow i think mil knows becus she always look at my facial expressiin and telling me she just playing with her amd so . I just did not smile and show im unhappy ahout this type of behavior everytime she does this . When baby cry , she will just say , oh mybe shes hungry , u didmt feed her enough milk or ask me bck what happen... Ive to take care of my child all the way for several hours , while husband just lays around the house . So on sunday , ive to cleaned up my house and all the laundry and tale care of my kid and all to prepare for monday working . Im really tired.... And husband refuse to go bck to my parent house. And fair enough alternate week to g back to own parent house together? But it seeems like every week to his mum place .. This makes me really reluctant to go to mil place everyweekend... What can i do ahout this ? ...

2021-02-08Father malay , mother chinese . Each wants the child to learn their own mother tongue . But mom have been taking care and paying for everything for the child . Is it only fair that the mother go ahead and let the child learn chinese in school? Belived that malay language can easily be picked up from grandparent or self taught at home . But the malay side might not be too happy about this.. Father is not teaching child anything or taking care as he comes home late everyday , what if we choose malay and in the future , nobody is gonna teach and guide him at home ? And i think chinese will be more useful and harder to picked up therefore i think it should be taught properly in school . Share with me ur opinion . No rights /wrong ..

2021-02-09Ever since i was diagnosed with high risk pregnancy, my husband has been hustling even harder for the family. We have 3 kids n a helper and other expenses. Before i was pregnant with 4th, i could still help out working on weekends and doing deliveries. After a major bloodshow, i was bound to bedrest for almost a month. Husband has been working everyday n coming back late. Today we had an argument bcoz 1)he was very late to help me deliver an item. 2)he came back furious because our 1st daughter kept calling n texting him non stop while he was typing something serious on his hp n got disrupted. The kids came out of their room so excited to see him home only to be reprimanded. My heart ache for my child. He went on n on how bad his day was. How much time he was wasting just by coming bck home only for me to tell him item can deliver tmr. So i asked him now u come back u angry with who? With us? In disbelief. I know my child shouldnt have annoyed him like that. But why is he venting his anger from work to home??? I really dont like it la. Then amidst everything, he said something like "im on the road the whole day. If nvr scold and discipline now then when? Wait till i die is it?" Ever since i stopped helping out, he mentioned the word die so many times. "Work until die" Its like as if we r driving him to work to his death. Doctor told me i cannot drive. But after so many arguments, i really think i should just get back to do some work n do my own deliveries. Im so sick of being useless at home. Its not that i dont appreciate my husband hardwork. But everytime when we argue, i feel very guilty for making him work so hard for the family. This pregnancy has really tested us in so many ways.

2021-02-10I am currently 11 weeks pregnant and gynae discovered dermoid cyst 6cm and another dermoid cyst which is 2 cm on my other ovary. Gynae advice to have a surgery in 2 - 3 weeks time to remove it to prevent future rupture. I have also done Harmony test on 11 weeks, gynae said if my blood results is not normal, he will have me terminate the pregnancy by doing abortion and cystecnomy together. I am horrified, has anyone had a dermoid cystecnomy and yet have a healthy pregnancy? I am super worried and have to wait 2 weeks for the blood result. This is my first baby, and I really scared to lose it. 🥺

Here’s his typical schedule: 730am - 180ml milk 9am - breakfast (buns and/or cereal) 12pm - lunch (porridge about 1/4 cup rice w meat and veg) 3pm - 150ml milk 6pm - dinner (porridge similar to lunch) 7pm - fruits 9pm - 100ml milk Is he drinking too little milk? He has been sleeping through the night and does not wake up for milk feeds though. Am concerned because he doesn’t seem to have gained much weight since he’s 12mo. Yesterday when I had sexual intercourse with my partner, I bled abit ; no more bleeding subsequently. 2021-02-11I just delivered my baby about 20days ago via cesarean. I am doing my confinement now and I don’t feel good with everything. I just feel that I am very ugly (because of my bulgy tummy), dirty (because of confinement, I can’t wash my hair every day and I am still bleeding) and pain everywhere (wound, nipples and breast pain as I am only pumping and not latching). 2021-02-11Hello all, #25F These days Iam feeling really low and I have nobody to share my feelings, so iam using this platform to express my feelings. Iam married for 2 years now but have been living far from husband for 1 and half years as I was pregnant and had to deliver a baby in another country and then this lockdown happend, So we are living in different countries As it was arranged marriage , we did not spend a lot of time together before marriage, but he used to send gifts on birthdays or valentine's and we used to talk to each other daily. The months we were together we enjoyed our newly married life, nothing to complain about life. But he never expresses his feelings towards me when we are distant no romantic talk or being lovey dovey...Iam not expecting a luxurious gift or something , those things doesn't matter to me but at least on birthdays a romantic wish would do..but no it's just a normal wish..he doesn't ask about my day or how did my birthday go.. I know he loves me but expresses only when iam with him , when some of my friends post about their spouses about those romantic gifts or even a rose I feel why my hubby doesn't do that..I would be happy with a single rose or even with a lovey dovey text.. Iam feeling emotionally distant these days...I haven't shared these things to him and he is a practical person..but I wish if he could be emotionally available with me. when Iam with him nobody can take care of me like he does , he is there for me both physically and emotionally. But why not when we are living far?

2021-02-12Please help... I gave birth 2 days ago and my baby is a bit premature and kept in NICU for a bit. I tried to massage and express my milk but I only got a bit of colostrum with the help of the nurse. Tried to latch him and he seems to suckle but I'm not sure if he could get any milk. The nurses there was kind enough to top up with formula milk & told me not to stress if I don't have milk yet. The lactation nurses also helped me to massage and squeeze some colostrum but my breasts are still very soft so I don't produce much. Any other tips to stimulate my milk? I do drink alot of water and try to take meals with soups. Made my husband bring me my pump later to see if I can get any milk or not.

2021-02-12I'm originally intending to get confinement meals for lunch and dinner while my breakfast would probably be fruits, yoghurt and brewers yeast etc. Also plan to take fenugreek and fennel tea in the day. Someone told me it's not enough and I should go Chinese TCM to get additional packets of herbs for a month. How much do mummies usually eat during confinement? Is my plan ok or do I really need to get additional supply of herbs from TCM?

And now, surprise surprise, I have no idea what goes where. I think I’ve set up the seat and the waist belt strap correctly. But the shoulder straps just don’t look right. The online manual I found does not help either. What I think might help is a picture of the shoulder belts on the chair. So if any parent out there can help, please do? 2021-02-13I just went for a scan as I had light pink and red discharge. Doc said two things: that I have polyp and the baby still too small ~0.4cm for 6.5 weeks. Doc prescribes me with Duphaston. After the scan, I have bleeding. Next check up will be ard 1.5 weeks later, Doc also said if the growing is too slow, it may be ruled out as failed pregnancy.... Wondering if anyone experiences the same as me..
