I’ve been looking into related articles and most says that it’s because her uterus is expanding. She is taking Panadol to relieve the pain but it doesnt seems to be working so far. 2021-12-06Hi Mummies, how do u guys deal with noise emitted from noisy cars and motorbikes? I live in a bto where the nearby rich bungalow owners seem to think they are entitled to make noises throughout the day and NIGHT with their lambo, bikes seem to think that the night empty roads are a speeding circuit where they will Rev their engines to to catch the next green light. To top it off, we have parents who seem to think it is ok to send their children to the park/playground pasy 10.30pm to play and make a din or create nuisance with their skateboards in the middle of the night. Such nuisance and noise pollution wakes not only my spouse and I up and drains our energy, but we also have a new born on the way and we hate that these noises may wake our baby up. How do you guys deal with noise pollution?#advicepls

2021-12-06Hi mummies, lately I have been feeling very restless. Like I just want to laze all day. I’m currently at my 29 weeks and I feel super lazy to go to work. The thoughts of going to work scares me. As I’m working an environment in f&b industry, i am constantly walking and it tired me out. But also, if I skipped work, I feel super emotional that I’m not doing my best for my little one, and the feeling gets overwhelmed. Can I stop having this feeling? 2021-12-06How do you all manage fatigue especially in the final weeks of pregnancy? I’m in my 34th week and find myself having low energy in the day despite sleeping throughout the night. My “naps” always end up being 2-3 hours long in the afternoon and I can’t help it! Thankfully I’m at home most of the time and can afford to rest a little more. 2021-12-06Hi mummies. As my boy is 10months old, he had been drinking Similac since birth, but as mummy here is not working currently I decided to change his milk formula to Grow. Yes, it’s cheaper. Similac 850g is $59.90 while Grow 900g is $18.30. Would like to know if the taste would be different and also the ingredient in it. 2021-12-06My baby from day 1 accepted the bottle with natural teat. Would give 5/5 but when I prepare milk and start mixing the formula, it will leak abit eventhough its closed super tight.

2021-12-06Hi mommies, i had done my c section 2 weeks ago, and my gynae asked me to removed my silicon plaster and start applying the scar cream soon. I’m wondering if you still wear the binder after the cream without anything on top of the wound(except scar cream)? Would the friction from the binder makes the wound open up or infected later on? 2021-12-08Hi everyone, I am now in week 10. In the early days, i was having constipation no matter how much water I drank or fruits I ate. I tried different methods and found a solution that works for me - morning wheat cereal (eg weetbix) with milk and fruits, at night before bed probiotics pill. Now my bowel movement is back to pre-pregnancy. Sharing if anyone else has similar issues.

2021-12-08I’m 34 weeks pregnant and it’s my first pregnancy. i took the whole month of December off from work to “rest” at home but the more I’m home, the more it ~kills~ me. About 2 weeks back I found out my husband cheated. Has been cheating on me since he found we were pregnant. Main reason is because he was childish and has to constantly seek validation from this girl he calls “friend”. Their conversations were mostly about backstabbing me and other times it’s just lewd conversations. He’s met her many times and I guess, it’s just a “friend” he never got over. I carried my baby alone since day 1. We live on our own and if I want to feel loved, I’d go over to my mom’s cos she’d feed me food non stop while my husband don’t. Any cravings I had, I drove out and got them myself. It was honestly difficult. I confronted him and his family over the cheating incident but it turned out to be a whole conversation of blaming me and my incapabilities while being pregnant. I made the decision to stay away from toxic in laws since then. I’m not sure if I’ve forgiven my husband but how do you live with a cheater? I haven’t been eating well because all I do is wake up to go to bed. I know, it’s probably depression and my kid is currently really small which alarms my gynae but all I’m thinking of is, how do I give birth with no one supporting me? I can’t have my husband there because it’s so hard to steer away from the thoughts that he has cheated. I don’t know what else to do and I’m just very, lonely, and I can’t be going back to my mom’s everyday because she keeps telling me I belong next to my husband despite whatever’s happened. 2021-12-08Yay! I survived 1 & 3/4 day of not eating the anti-vomitting medicine. So far so good. Managed to eat rice during yesterday's dinner with some food. I'm aware of my body now, with the constant need to eat something every few hours so as not to be hungry.. No major merlion-ing, just occassional nausea if i'm hungry.. My tastebuds has yet to come back. But sweet stuff appeals to me. Otherwise it's bland bland stuff which also appeals. Another #achievementunlocked Continue to monitor.. 2021-12-08My boy enjoyed rocking himself in this rocker. It is quite sturdy and comfortable for the baby. The adjustment of recline is just nice for the babies to relax and calm.

2021-12-09Hi, im 21 weeks pregnant. Im a little bit anxious because i have yet to feel the baby kicking (or maybe i do?). Hahah. I have sometimes felt fluttering feeling or kind of like bubble popping in my stomach, but im not sure if that’s how it feels when baby is kicking. Sometimes i do feel sudden pain and sometimes i dont at all (that’s when i became worried if anything bad is happening). Maybe i overthink a lot, but these little thoughts worried me always. I even have this mindset that it’s better to feel something (cramps etc) rather than nothing at all. I dont know if im making sense. Hahah. But anyway, issit normal to be feeing like this?

Week 36 was my last check up and was being told that everything is fine. Then my Gynae asked me if nothing don’t need to come back anymore. Until my scheduled cesarean date (week 39) Is this normal? I thought after week 36 will be more crucial and need to visit more often? How do I know if the amniotic fluid (the water inside) will suddenly decrease? 2021-12-09Hi all, My 5MO is starting to poop after almost every feed since yesterday. Basically 3 out of the 5 milk sessions. Today since 1 am this morning, 2 out the 2 feeds. All of his stools are loose & watery. At the same time, passing urine is normal: changing diapers every 3 hours. Not fussy, no fever, active & finishes the whole bottle at every 4 hour window feed. He is on FM. Does this constitutes to diarrhea? Do I urgently need to bring him to the pediatrician? Thank you in advance. P.S. My sincere apologies for posting his soiled diaper.

2021-12-10Any mommies have tips and tricks of transitioning a 3 month old out of his swaddle? He is currently using the ones where his hands are up and it has worked well for him so far. He does have quite a strong Moro reflex. I’ve searched online it seems like the Merlin sleep suit is pretty popular but it appears to be very thick for our climate. He’s not turning yet but I’d like to start transitioning him as he has now started rotating 180 degrees while sleeping at night and it is starting to freak me out. Thanks

2021-12-11My first pregnancy with IVF ICSI. 1 singleton day5 frozen embryo transfer and currently 10 weeks with miracle fraternal twins. We just did the blood test for first trimester screening. Ultrasound will be in less than 3 weeks time. The results will only be out in one months time. The issue is recently, i cannot stop worrying and thinking about the health of my babies. What if they have DS or any birth defects as there are higher risks involved with IVF ISCI. I cannot stop worrying and i keep crying just thinking about it. How do i calm myself and deal with this? Sigh…..
2021-12-11Hiii! So yesterday i just went to my appt. Like my previous post i said i had flu, and i read alot about this too. So it's been on my mind la. But the doc seems to take it so lightly. Saying it's normal and just take the medicine that she gives. I don't think i should really rely on alot of medication tho but i still take abit to ease it. My stomach is hurting so much because of the coughing. And there's alot of phlegm. I'm worried about my babies like what if the phlegm reaches them?? 🥺 Also about my c sect selection date. I thought i had a choice but no. Die die no which i don't really understand??? This doc said my babies is healthy but i cannot choose my date at all. She said there's a chance that the babies heartbeat will stop. But then i think back. It just doesn't make any sense. My due date is 22 jan 2022. But she said have to take out my twins by 36 weeks so she scheduled on the 27 dec 2021 which is 36 weeks 2 days. No discussion with me or anything, just simply say that's the date of the c sect. I asked if can do it like exact 36 weeks instead like abit earlier because i don't like the date also. Cause it's too near to the end of the year. Also i have a cousin who is having the same birthday. I don't want it to be the same. She said no because it's public holiday(Christmas) and babies will be too premature. Wth it's 2 days earlier, isn't it the same? Okay. Then i asked what about the day after? She said also no because its sunday. Then i asked again how about extending to 1st jan 2022 cause if we wait like 5 more days my babies will be almost full term which is exactly 37 weeks. She also said no, public holiday and the next day is sunday so 2nd jan is also a no. She die die wants me to stick to the date on 27dec which she schedule. I did ask abt the day after 27 dec which one day after. And it's on the tuesday. She also said no. Mind you, I did some research about all these things before speaking to the doc and make my decisions. There are even mummies out there who had higher risk pregnancy than me. And they had natural birth and gave birth at 38 weeks some more. Saying it depends on the baby, baby healthy, okay already. My babies is healthy but i got no choice which doesn't make sense to me. And threatening me by saying i cannot make any choice because every time i speak up she just say, there's a chance baby heartbeat will stop. Omg, you just said the babies is healthy and why you saying this 💔 She's the only doc who has been saying things like this to me. My husband didn't say much but he feels like shit too but he understands that it's the end of the year so many staff will want to take leave. I don't know how to explain my feelings anymore and what had happen. I just feel like my feelings is dismissed and everything else. I am trying my best to hold on with my heavy drooping stomach and my feelings but i don't know anymore la. Everything is not going like how i want it to be. It just feels like no one is listening. I'm so hurt. #pregnancy

He reject bottles before even trying... is there any way i can get him to wean off breastmilk? Checked with Banyan clinic @ Jurong west. They charge $550 and can only use cash or nets. Checked with Ar-Raudah clinic @ Bukit Batok but its fully booked and was asked to come next June holiday. Is there any other clinic that can still perform the procedure at a cheaper rate and preferably by CDA or MEDISAVE. THANKYOU
