Tried to force myself to eat something although has not much appetite and I kept having this extreme hunger sensation even though I’ve ate some food. Is that normal? 2021-11-29Finally tried the enfamama chocolate milk. Taste good, i like the taste. But 2 hours later, it caused me to have soft stools. And it happened twice. I suspect that i am lactose intolerant. Are there any lactose free alternatives? I've called NUH O&G, the nurse said can try yogurt, cheese. If not calcium tablets as a worse case scenario. 2021-11-29My baby is starting to sleep thru the whole night since she was in 2nd month Now 3months She is still sleeping thruout the night from 10pm to the next day about 11am or 12pm for feeds Is this normal? I went to kk and they mention as long as per day her feed is ok and her weight is gaining it will be fine But I am still worried . Baby will wake up in the middle of the night kicking blankets but fall asleep back again Should I just try to feed her even thou she is sleeping ? I tried but she will be wide awake after feeding an I will take 1 hour to put her back to sleep again Any mummies facing this kinda issue ?

2021-11-29This is a great product especially if there are several people caring for baby in the house and coordination is required. I used to leave post-it notes on the fridge to track feeds and diaper changes so that my mum and husband are also in the loop. Needless to say the post-its no longer stick after some time. This is a more environmentally friendly option and definitely more aesthetically pleasing.

After my check up at kkh today my gynae told me my baby's weight is nearly 3.4kgs and advised me that in order to go for normal delivery I must be induced day after tomorrow which is going to be my 38th week starting as my baby is big for its gestational week. And told me that I'm already 3cms dilated after doing a vaginal check. So is it normal to go for pain induction at 38 weeks due to baby's weight? Has anyone had my experience and how well did it go? 2021-11-30My 9mo baby doesn't like to be in tummy time position and still find it hard to push himself up to crawl. He can rollover,sits very well but all he wants to do is stand up and trying to learn how to walk because he likes playing with his older brother. And he hasn't start babbling. 2021-12-01Gynae asked me to prepare for the worst and come back for scan next week. I went for my first scan based on LMP is 7 weeks 1 day, heart beat at 113 and baby measuring 1 week behind. 2021-12-01Dear c sec mommies. was wondering if your csec scar transforms over time? from a scar close to invisible to something so visible? the top photo was taken right before my massage session and the bottom one was taken 1 week post massage. I was 6 weeks pp when i decided that i was ready for my massage i trusted the auntie that massaged me since she was experience since it was 6 weeks pp she felt that it was okay ti massage around the tummy area , also claiming that if i wasnt a csec patient the pressure applied would be harder after the 2nd session i feedback to her and told her not to massage my lower abdomen as it was close to the csec scar and i was uncomfortable I also wore a binder , the cloth type that she manually wraps around my body and ties a knot in the middle. it’s tight but bearable , she also placed a clean sanitary pad at the bottom knot closest to my csec scar so that it doesnt interfere with it however, pressure is still there when i sit, breast feed my baby at night and go to the toilet it was uncomfortable but i trusted her, since she is the person of expertise. over time i realised my scar got redder and now raised a little i asked her if it was normal and she said yes it is because my tummy has shrunk, hence causing the scar to be visible 🤷🏻‍♀️ i told her i was sad that my scar was not as pretty as before. all she said was “all csec scars are like that” if she had told me it would result in that, i would have never gone for a massage. we paid good money for a private doctor and i was super happy and proud of my scar whenever inlook at it now when i look at it i feel guilty for not taking care of my body, i feel ugly. i broke down and cried to my hubby saying that this is not how it should be . but he kept consoling me and said that all scars are like that. i’ve been feeling so depressed ever since. looking at my perfect scar to something that could have been prevented. this is why i have always been skeptical about traditional approaches. but again i have nobody to blame but myself i should have trusted my instincts and stopped the massage right away. why am i so stupid. fixing things that arent broken😭😭😭😭

2021-12-01Pd has prescribed omeperazole for our 3 months old baby as he has reflux issue. The instruction is dissolve content in 5ml of water, stir and just feed 0.6ml. My question is the content beads seem to not dissolve, and read that it is not meant to be crushed/chewed, so does it really work if i feed the baby just the water portion or do i need to feed him the beads as well?

When sleeping time she will scream and cry too till my mil take over. Night time I take care of baby .. She will wake up a few times keep kicking. .. tried feeding. 2021-12-01Hi, my husband is really being inconsiderate or brainless at times, my room is aircon room and window and door is obviously shut all the way, baby is sleeping and he literally just vape in the room, but did not blow the smoke at baby, but i find it really inconsiderate and stupid. As vape has fragrant too, even tho it did not directly blew at baby but i am afraid it will affect baby. When i confronted him, he told me he just woke up and being forgetful. But cmon does he not have brain? He still can tell me " walao i also never blow directly at baby why u being so tense up " I am scared it will affect the baby even it is just this one time.
2021-12-01Hello future mummies, just wanted to share a gynae whom from my personal experience you should avoid :) He’s quite well known in the Muslim communities where our elders would recommend him or Dr Aziz, or Dr Suzanna. These are the few that i know of. Dr Sidek, good thing is they have available slots if you want to arrange one on the day itself (reason why i chose him) but during my consultation, he was quite rude in a sense that upon entering the room, he just kept using his phone and no greeting etc. His scan, was so painful 😭 i’m currently with another gynae and he is way way way gentle over Dr Sidek. But the staff there were very nice though, such a waste to have such unpassionate gynae. Dr Suzanna on the other hand, is very famous among muslim community too who prefers female doctor. However, a few of my friends does not recommend her at all. Perhaps shes too busy to attend to you properly. A few of my friends after a month of vaginal delivery, still unable to walk 😭 Poor thing. Her stitching could be improved is shes not rushing all the time. Dr Aziz from PEH on the other hand, isnt pro natural if you’re thinking of natural all the way. Might want to avoid him. He’s also very open in a way where his humours are very sexual or harsh. He did mention if the mum does not want to feel pain during delivery, should think of aborting the baby as a joke. Some might be okay, some might not. Just sharing! As i was asking around a few opinions and this was what i got 🥳 Have a great pregnancy journey mummies 🥰

2021-12-02Sharing my bad experience: First nanny dozed off while feeding my 4 day old baby. Dropped bottle on the floor didn't wash continue to feed. The baby's neck slipped off her arms couple of times. Replacement nanny failed to cook nutritious meals for me. When baby has diaper rash, no solution was given to me. I had to google what to do. Above all, CN kissed the baby on the cheeks many times. On the head, I can close one eye. Kissing on the cheek is what us as parents don't even do to the newborn. Each time baby fuss, CN will say baby is hungry. When baby fuss for quite some time, I carried him and she has things to comment: - telling me he gets used to carrying, jialat. - where I'm carrying him to? - don't always carry. My advise is to get from a reputable agency or just order confirnement food and get your own family to help out. My experience with bumblebee confinement was a bad one. I thought having one is better than nothing. I went ahead with them because all reputable ones were fully booked to 2022.

2021-12-02Hi mummies. My check up last 2 days, doctor mention my urine has protein and they are afraid that i might have preeclampsia. They asked to take blood test and urine. (2 bottles of blood and urine is to be sent urgently to the lab) They said they will call if i happen to have preeclampsia. Is preeclampsia something urgent? If yes, will they call right after getting the results? Because I check the health buddy app for my results. Took blood test at 5+pm and results were out around 7+pm. The nurse at the routine check mention i got white discharge which I think it might be infection as my vagina is itchy also. But Dr say might have protein. I dont have blurry visions or headache. My legs tend to swell if i walk or stand too long. Dr check my leg reflexes also. I AM WORRIED SICK! my BP is within range. They ask to retake BP again but after hearing the Dr says, my BP rise up abit because I WAS NERVOUS. 2nd, I might need to be induce before 39weeks as I have GDM. And i have been having bad anxiety because its my first baby. Can anyone pls pls tell me the procedure of inducing?

2021-12-03hi all.. i read up alot on articles saying baby kicks usually get stronger after 24 weeks. but im 23 weeks now and for the past 2 weeks baby’s kick is crazy strong. especially at night and its making me depressed because i cannot sleep at all and my husband is a heavy sleeper so no matter how many times i try to wake him up he wont.. past three nights has been worst. baby has been kicking non stop and the moment he stops and i almost go to lalaland, he starts kicking again. i am so tired.. havent had enough sleep. feel like dying 😭

2021-12-04Hello mummies, would like to share my experience with Dr Tan Kai Lit. I’ve changed my gynae to Dr Tan at week 32 and it was one of the best decision I made during this pregnancy. Dr Tan is knowledgeable, patient and meticulous. He is always ready to answer any questions we had during the consultations and is detailed in his explanation. Due to decreased fetal movement, he ordered for a scan which showed that baby’s HC was at the 90th percentile. There, he elaborated on the different options we had, each with its pros and cons. We eventually decided on elective c-sect. The operation went smoothly and I’ve been recovering well. Due to my skin condition, I was afraid that my wound would not heal as well (it can take weeks for me to recover from a mozzie bite). However, I’m glad to say that the c-sect wound has been healing great! Dr Tan has great skills - the injections he gave were almost painless (I have low pain tolerance). Even the dexa jab that is notorious for how painful it is was manageable when he injected it. Dr Tan works with two ladies, Gladys and Ros, at his clinic and the overall experience has been nothing but positive. Everyone there is cheerful and helpful. Will definitely have Dr Tan as my gynae for subsequent pregnancies :-)

I am getting worried and am wondering if it is sign of miscarriage ?💔 # Updates: wanted to provide an update. I couldn’t wait for my upcoming gynae and walked in to KK to see the doctor. They found a polyp and that is likely the cause of the bleeding. Doctor said that it is most likely benign and they will not remove when pregnant and sometimes it might get flushed out after child birth.

2021-12-04Which diaper brand is best suited for overnight use for a heavy wetter toddler at 21mo? We are currently using pampers pants in the day n Amico tape at night, both in L n cannot hold overnight. Tried R+F in the past n was using it before amico for night as well but ever since switching to pants, it cannot hold as well n it leaks at the side when there's poo. Huggies is a big NO as she can't take the brand, will break out in angry rashes + it leaks so bad. PKP is too pricey
