2021-10-11#depressionisreal I’m currently working in a childcare and the measures put in place seems lacking whenever there are positive cases in my school. The new measures says that there is no need for QO anymore. I am feeling so scared to get covid as all the children in school are unvax. 😩 really wanna quit my job but then I would be in financial difficulties if I do so as I’m pregnant. Over the past two weeks, my workplace has a few cases of children being covid positive already ☹️

Number of factors that we are looking at: - Increasing number of Covid 19 cases in the community. - New rules concerning unvaccinated individuals are getting stricker and who knows when it will expand to hospitals. - Government moving forward with treating the virus as an endemic where we welcome international travellors and allowing our own to travel overseas. - Updated Healthcare Protocols where home recovery will become default once an individual tested positive. 2021-10-11My lo just turn one month and currently one month and 2 weeks. She's about 6 weeks now For the past few days, she's been very cranky. No matter what I do it doesn't please her. Change her diapers, feed her, put her to sleep but she still cry. I don't think it's colic as I burp her after every feed. Any idea how to calm her down or why she's like that? My no1 is a girl just as I wanted n expected n now I'm having a no2, tbh I'm okay with both genders for no2 but would prefer another girl n for no3 to be a boy. I have a strong feeling that my no2 is a girl but people around me are constantly telling it's a boy as I already have a girl. 2021-10-12My child (13 months+) just started infant care at Sparkletots 2 weeks ago. However, every week (2 - 3days apart), I would notice fresh bruises on her knee or shin. Is this expected? The centre explained that it could be she knocks against the furniture or kneel on toys. My child also hardly sleep at infant care. She always has sleeping difficulties and is a super light sleeper but this makes her very cranky after we pick her up from the centre. Any parents have similar experience or advice? 2021-10-12Pls bare with me for my long post as I don't know who I can speak with. I have went through 2 mid-term termination of my pregnancies due to genetic disorder of my babies this yr and last yr. Am still healing emotionally as it were a traumatic experience. Gynae has advised us to go for IVF for our next family planning. For my 1st pregnancy - we and gynae didn't know we have such genetic problem For my 2nd pregnancy - gynae was optimistic and has encouraged us go for natural conception we were also having positive thoughts after finding out pregnant Few days ago I was having dream that I have missed my period this month and tested positive for pregnancy and I cried to my husband (in dream). After I woke up and recalled the dreams, it felt so real (as my menses is due soon) and I'm so afraid it will come true. This is the first time I'm so terrified to get pregnant as I couldn't go through the same again. After my 2nd pregnancy termination, I felt I have lost interest in everything. I always felt lethargic, no interest, lazy, don't feel like doing anything mood. I'm not as happy as before. My husband has make effort to make me happy like bringing me for staycations, buying me stuff, but I just felt empty in me though I'm happy when he does these. He does not know how to console me, when we lost both of our babies and I have cried so hard, he just told me to stop crying and we can try again. I thought I am getting better each day, but no. Since I'm working from home now, and my job scope isit that busy, I will just lazed on sofa and play with my phone, be it scrolling on social media, watching fb live selling, keep spending money on online shopping etc to ease my anxiety and emptiness in me. Few times when my husband is working from home and saw me lazing around, he will passed remarks to me such as u look lazy, u always look so free, u always do nothing, u always watching fb live as if u have no life etc. I felt hurt though I know he is stating fact as what he is seeing on me. I couldn't defend myself as I knew I have becoming like this but I just doesn't have the mood to do anything. I have tried to go for online courses but whatever I was listening and reading just doesn't go in to my brain as I was just staring on the pc. Most of my close girlfriends recently has given birth/got pregnant and to be honest, I felt a little sensitive when they shared on their good news. Of course I am happy for them, but I couldn't engage in their conversation as they are sharing motherhood stuff. As I am nearing to mid-30s, gynae has advised us to go for a review next year for our preparation of IVF. I am so afraid of the process of IVF, or update of our fertility status due to my age, and the process of pregnancy if IVF is successful. My heart couldn't take it if my pregnancy fails again. I know I sounds pessimistic, because I have been so optimistic on my 1st and 2nd pregnancies and turns out to be my worst nightmare, I am so afraid of everything now. And thanks for listening to me. It has been a roller coaster ride for the past 2 years and I wouldn't know when I will be ready for my next family planning.

2021-10-12My boy is 9 weeks old, over the last week, he has been having difficulty going to bed at night - even after carrying , rocking, cuddling, playing, talking etc... 2021-10-12Started vomiting at week 6. At that point of time i was vomiting whatever i ate. Got better somehow at week 12 / 13 then it came back. But this time i throw up some food. 2021-10-12I have this huge dilemma on whether or not I should marry my bf. I tried avoiding the marriage question before but I thought really well for my kid and I decided to accept him and just get married. I’m pregnant and we have already booked our date to get registered but I don’t know if that’s the right thing to do. I don’t want to end up regretting and becoming a divorcee in the future (although there’s nth wrong with being a divorcee). I just don’t think he’s someone that I can spend the rest of my life with and it kills me because I’m actually doing this for my child. And I feel so bad to because my parents spent quite a bit of money on my marriage gift and his parents got me dowry. It would be so wrong to reject him last minute but I know I won’t be happy in the long run if it’s forced. I can’t stand him and the slightest thing about him annoys me at times. She seems to want baby closer to her than me. Everytime I carry baby, she will want me to put baby in rocker or pass to her. Recently baby is also in the leap week so he clings to me. So, my mil was not happy about it and seems to blame me. Even compare him with my sil (her daughter) kid. I'm currently a subsidised patient under team care at KKH and I plan to have a fixed gynae for my last trimester in case of complications. If I go private at Kkh under ward A, I will no longer enjoy subsidised rates for future visits and even my children will be charged private. That's like a big loss... I feel like it’s out of our control to control our MS. 2021-10-15Hello, my newborn just got discharge from NICU. from the day he was born, he has been fed formula milk as we are not able to see each other and i couldn’t hand expressed my milk so soon. overtime, after massaging and hand expressing , and pumping? i managed to have some milk supply. right after his discharge, i straight away allowed him to latch on to me everytime it’s his milk time, however i realised that everytime he breastfeeds, he poos and it is very watery, he also passes gas alot and seems to have an upset tummy to an extent then he fusses and couldnt sleep seems like he has diarrhea adter drinking my breast milk i feel so helpless because that’s my only milk supply for him and i feel like such a bad mom giving my son my milk only to have him follow up with an upset tummy after:(

2021-10-16Hi there is there anyone suffering from depression, social anxiety and Low self-esteem? I constantly feel a need for me to be validated by other people. I feel that no matter how much I try, if people don’t like me (because I am shy, introverted and quiet), even if I do one good thing is never enough. I don’t have anyone that I can’t rant to. Not even to my spouse, family or friends. Maybe it’s this wall that I’m putting up. I am tired honestly. Sometimes I don’t know what I want to do in life. I feel like I can’t be a good mother to my unborn child and toddler. I can’t be a good wife to my spouse. Can’t be a good daughter to my parents, a good sister to my siblings. I can’t do anything right in life. Everyone hates me I know. Even my spouse say my children will grow up in future to hate on me. I don’t know where can I run to. Everyday I just cry in silence hoping someday this too shall pass
2021-10-16Hi all! First timer here :) just tested positive for pregnancy two days ago and I am at 4 weeks 2 days now! Called the gynae and was told she would see me only on my 6th week and I didn’t have to do anything meanwhile. For now, would help if any one could help me on the questions below: 1) left side ovary pain for the past two days - feels like a low grade stitch or menstrual cramp. Is that normal? 2) do I need to see a GP or any doctor before my 6th week at the Gynae? 3) Friends told me to take folic acid + vitamins immediately and I bought one from Natures Aid - Pregnancy.
