But apart from that, we were really really hoping for twins or multiples, went for checkup n only saw 1, was really glad baby is healthy overall but still can't help but feel disappointed by the fact that I was only carrying one. :/

2021-09-06Currently going 7 weeks. Double uterus, high risk pregnancy. OBGYN appointment every 2 weeks. I have morning sickness and it would gt worse in the morning and at night. During the night i wont gt a proper rest due to the symptoms and it would effect me the next morning. I Have use up all of my medical leave and and most of my mc are NPL. im currently serving my final notice period with my current company. I work as an educator for children with special need. Mostly children with ASD, Speech delay and GDD. Workload has been hectic and physically demanding. The company had offered to shorten my notice period ( which i did not request). However, they insist me to pay them. They are also currently holding back my Aug salary and trying to convince me to use my aug salary to compensate for the final month. As of today, my salary is 17 days due. I rejected their offer as it does not benefit me in any way. I feel that i work hard and i deserve to gt my salary on time and in full. I have spoken to them regarding this matter and they told me that i should receive my salary in a few days time. In you are in this situation, what would u do?

2021-09-07My boy starts to copy behaviors, and he uses those cards with us (Parents), ie. I'm Angry, You never listen to me or will ask us to sit to his corner (for time out). 2021-09-07I am formula feeding my 2 month old and she currently takes between 560ml - 700ml a day - this is well below the recommended amt for her current weight/age (735ml) but she seems to be content after each feed (not able to take more when offered), gaining weight steadily (according to her last weigh in), and producing adequate wet and dirty diapers. 2021-09-07Anyone chose elective C section for non medical reason? I'm 50/50 because our of 5 friends 4 went through emergency c section even though they chose vaginal delivery. Extra time and effort pushing baby out and end up paying a hefty sum for last min use of operating theatre etc. My fear is e extra lum sum that goes in emergency c section. I'm 36 weeks now n recent check ups baby head is already park at pelvis. Recently felt it even lower. Gynae say my body is preparing for labour, mix feelings on should I try giving birth vaginally.

2021-09-07My baby is 2 months old. Recently she is sleeping more and drinking less. From 3 hourly feed to 4 hourly feed. Whole day milk consumption is about 500ml. Wet diaper is 5-6 times. Should I be worried?

2021-09-07Hi I'm about 4-5 weeks along. I just found out I was pregnant last wed (1/9) and did blood test, HCG levels were only at 10mIU/ml. Today (7/9), I repeated the blood test as I had spotting and blood test results was only 31mIU/ml. Gynae has put me on duphaston and given me a progesterone booster shot and ordered for 2 days more of bed rest then retake blood test. Anyone had any experience with this? How did it turn out? 2021-09-08Hi! Im currently 8 weeks pregnant and recently been having some lower back pain/pelvic pain. It hurts when i sit too long or walk too much. It especially hurts last two days where i had a hard time to even sit or stand up . It gets better now but im still worried. 2021-09-08My baby boy is 5 weeks old. He started to develop heat rash on his face a few days back. Only on face. His neck and body are doing good. Does ur baby experience heat rash before? What did u do to help? I brought him to see dr and dr said it’s like normal baby eczema and will recover on its own. But i think my baby feels his face itchy. 2021-09-08I don't know what else to do. Hopefully by being here could get some tios and advices from mummies out there. My son today his 1st birthday! Since 30th aug, he caught stomach flu from school, he doesn't want to eat his puree, porridge, cereal. Drink formula milk also abit. Never once finish. His weight 7.9 last check on last monday. Today his favourite teether snack also he don't want to eat. I everyday get scolded from husband cause my son not eating when I try to feed him he doesn't want to eat. #advicepls

2021-09-08I have always been an emotional person, I cry for everything; when I’m happy, sad or angry. Ever since I was pregnant, it became even worse. Now that I have already delivered and am at 9 months pp, I am still so emotional and would cry at every small matter. I feel that people at work find that I’m such a weakling for crying all the time. I don’t want to cry but it’s like a reflex for me. And I cry even more for crying 😭😭😭

2021-09-08It’s school holiday this week. Though it’s only a week long, how do you keep your child occupied during this week? As my girl is entering primary school next year, I give her more time to play as she won’t be able to play much next year onwards. It’s also stayover party for her at my in law place.
2021-09-08How’s your child relationship with their grandparents like? From young my father in law, has been helping to take care of my girl. Which they grew a very strong bond. He’s her second favourite person, as the first is me. 😂 She also grew closer to my parents when they have been helping me to take care of her when I’m busy at work. It’s heart warming to see that your child is close to their grandparents.

2021-09-09How do you cope? 😥 I am currently 30 weeks along and unvaccinated. Hubby and I both agreed that I will go unvaccinated till birth but the number of unlinked cases now is very worrying. (and I'm someone who is rather chillax) My gynae isn't pushing for me to get vaccinated too. Hubby and I are home most of the time. We don't head out very much, not even for work. Only reasons to head out is for food, groceries or visiting both our families once a week for dinner. I am now seriously considering to cut off visits to our families as they are all vaccinated, hence the chances of them being asymptomatic is high. As much as my hubby and I exercise extreme precaution, we cannot control our families' daily activities and whom they meet. Is this too extreme? Ps. Please don't advise me to take vaccine as this will not be my plan unless gynae gives the green light. EDIT: Thank you all mummies for responding to my rant. I really feel so much better after knowing that some of you have also stopped visiting families, which means my request is not ridiculous. 🥲 Stay safe you all! ❤

He gave me two kinds of antibiotics for treatment of UTI..as wbc found in urine and discharge shows with bacteria.. But i actually do not have any common symptoms of UTI. Is it normal to take two kind of antibiotics for yellow discharge? Sometimes yellow, sometimes white. Thanks!! Just concern that I am taking anti biotic unnecessarily as I have no itch, pain or urge to pee. Only rare occasion like cramps feeling when peeing

2021-09-11My in law is staying with me temporary. I feel even more stressed despite my hubby saying she is here to help. Every time baby cries, she will interfere. Last night baby poo and after that became hungry, so he cried. My mil woke up, took baby away and feed him instead. I really thinking I am going through depression. I am so scare of baby crying in the fear that my mil will step in again and take my baby away. I feel like I am a milk making machine instead of a mother. My husband keeps saying I think too much. But if I need help I will ask. Now I just want to spend more time before I return to work after maternity. I just want to learn to take care of baby myself. #firstbaby #advicepls
