2021-06-28I've used this product for years since it was called Barley Green in the 90s. Great enzymatic product. I had digestive, acute gastritis and reflux issues since I was a kid. I've used products like this and fiber and haven't used prescriptions in 15 years. Any idea how to encourage baby to turn back down? Its my first and i understand that breech usually means c-sect. Which may lead to some complications if we were to have 2nd bb. 2021-06-28I just went for my scan at 20 weeks and the estimated foetus weight is at 506g. doc says that my baby is quite big! I also read the phamplet on gestational diabetes(GDM) and it says that if baby is larger than usual during the scan it could be a sign of GDM. is this true? 😨😨🥺

2021-06-28Hi sorry everyone I have to rant here as I dont have any listening ear to talk to. Im working in office 8 to 5.30pm weekdays. I send my twins 9 month plus to IFC 30 mins walk. But cons that the IFC unable to bath them as they mention ACDA decision their center cant bath the infants. So everyday I will bath first before bath them and settle them before send them to IFC by 7pm as I taking public to work. End work fetch them, bath them and get ready their dinner. Down part for me as a mother is that they now dont drink milk much, doesnt eat much. Their weight up and down because of that. Because they lack nutrition, they unable to sit, crawl and stand. Simple as bearing weight in both legs also development delay for them. Everyday I will get frustrated with them whenever they dont eat, dont drink milk. How to get nutrition? Then surround me keep nag at me for not giving enough food and milk. Nag at me for 9 month old cannot sit, stand and crawl. They label me as a failure. Other infants 5 to 7 months can do all of that. Even start BLW. I dont know how to make my twins able to do basic stuff like sit, crawl and stand. They dont even want to hold spoon or bottle themselves. Im tired.#advicepls #1stimemom #pleasehelp

2021-06-28Staying tgt with mil because we have not apply for bto (marriage is unstable, preg before married) Mil asking me for allowance while the son is not giving her a single cent. Initially she ask me how much i can contribute i told her $150 and one day i told her i might be able to increase the amount and following month she ask me for $200 cos I say I will give. Suck it up gave her $200. But my job contract is ending in a few days time and she never thought whether I have enough for myself still pestering me with giving her money. ( I felt cheated tbh, i had financial issue before I got married she assure me that she wont ask for money from her chikdren as she know it's not easy to survive nowadays. Fyi she's earning 6k a month. Sil hired a helper to take care of the dog at home. Shortly after I gave birth, mil wants to change helper so the new helper can take care of my baby. When helper arrived she told helper to take care of my needs and baby needs, housework and put on hold. But 1 year later, when the helper helping me to do my things she scolded the helper and tell the helper to rmb who is her paymaster LOL was super taken aback. I don't usually use the helper unless I really need help.) What should i do? I have my own committments (bills, debt, baby, insurance) How do I tell her that she should take money from her son too and not always pestering me with paying up? I feels like a tenant at the house tbh. (My parents know about it and feels that is not my job to pay for the allowance as my hubs is not paying a single cent, what do you guys think?) After my this job ends I'll only be paid 1.2k before cpf deduction so I really don't know what to do..

2021-06-29My big toes are both swollen but I don't have swollen feet/legs. The sides of the toes are hard and I could see pus inside. But I'm sure it's not ingrown nails. Went to see GP 2 weeks ago, and they said it could be ingrown nails. They prescribed me antibiotics (Amoxicillin - taken orally) and Sodium Fusidate cream to apply on the toes. But it's not getting any better. Am 32 weeks pregnant now. Is this normal? Has anyone experienced this?

2021-06-29After giving birth to LO my feelings towards my husband changed…. I would not want to touch, hug or even kiss him… it’s been 1 year since anything happen. My parents are indecisive also, but they're self-employed 3. Helpers are expensive (or is anyone able to advise the helper's upfront payment and mthly salary?) 4. Nannies are now priced avgly $800 a month too, so it's pricey 5. Infant cares (anyone knows the fees in local preschs?) Thanks!

2021-06-30Speaking from my own experience… I went to one of the clinics in Thomson Medical and the Dr asked me to go for Down syndrome test (the usual 12/13th week test). I opted for Oscar, thinking that my family and my hubby’s do not have any Down syndrome babies and it’s relatively cheaper by a lot (est $700 difference!). Turned out the result is 1/4 chance of getting a Down syndrome baby and that I need to go for invasive tests. The report also indicated that my baby does not have a nasal bone. Later I went for second opinion to another private clinic in Mt Elizabeth Novena, the Dr suggested to go for another blood test, NICE. He purposely make it much more affordable so that his patients are much more comfortable in getting this tested. Turned out my baby is FINE! No genetic issues at all! Now that I’m 20 weeks and I did further scans and My baby is perfectly alright. I have heard another case where a lady had Oscar test and results were ok. Later after giving birth, the baby is having Down syndrome. So don’t try to save money for this test. #1stimemom

2021-06-30Went to A&E just now coz of bleeding and stomach cramp. It was like more for spotting but little for menses. Based on app im 5weeks today. Doctor did a vaginal scan and didnt see any pregnancy in the womb. Did HCG result 90.6 iu/l. They cant conclude anything till my nx hcg test in 2 days. But it can either be early pregnancy, miscarriage or ectopic. Anyone here faced similar case before and the pregnancy still went on? 2021-07-01Hi, I am 40 weeks pregnant and there is still no signs of labour! Past 3 weeks I have been going to gynae check ups and he said that my cervix is still closed. He mentioned that if cervix is closed he can't induced me too. And he said that we can only wait maximum another week (week 41) before opting for c section if cervix is still closed. Had unprotected sex 1 week ago. I've never been fertile until my ebf baby turned 2 years old at least with all my kid so I can't be pregnant base on my experience with my body. I had 1 time of super bright yellow watery discharge when my baby was 10 weeks old then nothing since. I thought af was returning as such discharge happened with my previous baby and about 2 weeks later I had my first period. I have no idea what's going on with my body now seriously. Any input?

Learnt that this pain us actually called round ligament pain and that it's normal esp around this stage of pregnancy. What I'm not sure about is how BAD was your pain if you experienced this? I never expected this situation to fall upon myself, I don't know what to do. I intend to go counseling for myself to get over this. I'm just worried for my kid to grow up with a father, even tho when we're staying together he doesn't bother with my kid too. he doesn't treat me nice, there's really no reason to stay. 2021-07-02My 7mth LO recently has cough and running nose (already 1 week+). He kept on waking up in the midnight (he usually sleep from 8pm until the next day morning), like wake up at 12am+, awake until 3am then sleep, then wake up again at 5am..During day time, his nap time is short also, like less than 1 hour each time, he usually nap for twice a day. I’m so worry about his immune system will be affected and also his sick is difficult to recover due to sleepless nights. 2021-07-02Im 3 days PP tdy. Been exclusively breastfeeding since day 1. And so far, so good.. despite the every hourly demand latching, Baby has been latching well. Till both my nipples super sore and "torn". I do apply the nipple cream as and when i can but because my baby might even latch every 30mins-60mins, my nipples couldnt heal properly and thus resulted in more pain. Yesterday i realised, my both boobs gettimg engorged eventho i latch my baby often and for long each time. The engorgement doesnt seems to subside.. i wonder why.. is baby not drinking at all or...? Every 10-15mins she ask to be latched. With the pain getting even more painful, i had to feed my baby formula. My 3yrs old formula milk bcos i hadnt had the chance to buy a newborn formula yet. I feel guilty. What will happen if a newborn drinks a 3yrs old fomula milk? This is the first time i had to do this. My nipple pain is soo unbearable and baby was fussing, crying non stop asking for milk. And, what can i do now? With this nipple pain (cracked nipples) and both boobs engorgement... Pls pls advise! 2021-07-03Hi momsiee.. Ive been crazy for the last month of june.. First i went to A&E since I got vagina bleeding and blood clots heavier. They took me blood test in low hcg and do ultrasound. Went back after 2 days. After all the test its likely miscarriage, Doctor advise me to make it natural flow to release the blood if there is pain that triggers need to come back well, I did bedrest for whole atleast 1 week then bleeding stops, when ai return to the doctor as per advise for check up its incomplete miscarriage. So an option occur either I take the pills to wash out or an awake surgery or sleep surgery. I decided to take the pills. Right after that i take it with anti biotic and pain reliever. 1 day of taking the misoprostol pill there is an abdominal pain like whole part of my waist it hurts like crazy. You will cry like a baby. And after several hours i went to toilet and it flash out then there is still a lot of pregnancy tissues keep coming out. The next day i took the anti biotic as doctor instruct me. I took it.. im still weak although I can still cook and move a little but no exercise for me, and no heavy things to carry cus i feel like i was giving birth… sighing! After 3 days… That moment at night time, I just poop like its diarrhea thingy…after that I went to our room and i feel the same cramps and its so damn pain… like i cant tahan, i took medicine for pain reliever and still cant relieve.. then I went back to A&E to find out whats going on. They took me Urine test, and blood test. Blood test surprise me that the level of my hcg is highest than my last visit to doctor. I dunno why. I did ultrasound again atleast 2-3 times in emergency and 1 time for clear visual…. Is it because of the misoprostol side effect? Doctor told me it could be ectopic or miscarriage since I am taking the pills to flash out the remaining. Sighing. Im so damn tired and overthink so much. Now i need to do blood test. From 86.2 after 48 hrs its 50+ something.. now i need to come back after 4 days to repeat blood test. Hopefully It will lesser As I am very tired having this. And to come back on my normal routine. Ive been to NUH doctor is straight to the point. No ifs nor but…. Seeing my result he will give straight away comment and he knows what he is doing. But hopefully it will clear.. I am just sharing this my experience since not all have the same experience. I am first time mom to be but didnt make it. God will make a way.. i know he got a plan for me and my husband.. its a rollercoaster thingy but God sustain me to be strong no matter what. My advice to those who got this experience pls pls.. follow what your body reacts, always follow what doctors advise. And be ready… plus eat an healthy food. Dont think about work as company cant dwell if something happen to you. Olright’. Now rest as much as possible. Rest to ensure your wounds are healing. Thank u so much for reading my story. I understand that need to register early as the waiting list could be quite long for those more popular ones. I am staying in Serangoon area. Any recommended playgroup in the vicinity? How about those private playgroup? What is the subsidy given for full time working mum? Due to covid, it is quite hard to tour the centre when the toddlers are having activities.

Plus going back to work after maternity end.. My husband work irregular hours. He won't be able to help much. I'm worried if I don't get a helper I can't cope with caring a newborn and a toddler.. any tips please?

2021-07-03My boy (turning 2 this 15 July) is well trained in wearing MASK whenever go out from house After attending 2 x 1/2 day Childcare, he THROW his mask whenever I ask him to wear🤦‍♀️ effort GONE!!! So disappointed with the way CCL teacher following and executing sop, whole classes not wearing mask and teachers reply we will emphasis when they are 2! 2021-07-03Question: Am I supposed to see many sprays inside the flange as I pump? Cos I only see one spray, for maybe a minute max, then it will just be droplets slowly dripping and accumulating before flowing down to the valve. Am I not pumping correctly? Am FTM new to pumping, did csect 3 weeks ago. I use Spectra S1 pump, and I usually do Cycle 1, suction level 2 to 4, for 15 to 20 mins. Is this correct, or what will you suggest?
