2021-06-14I have been feeling ill and horrid since I found out I was pregnant - the sore boobs, constipation and back pains are still manageable, but my nausea has been affecting me, some days like today more so. The thing is that I don’t actually vomit but I’m wondering if I should to make myself feel better? In addition, my neck aches and headaches are really getting to me as well, sometimes it also affects my sleep even though I’m so tired. I actually feel like lying down sometimes makes my headache worse even, but my body is too tired to not be lying down. When I can I do force myself to get up and do something though I don’t last very long. Can anyone share their experience? #firstbaby
2021-06-14Im currently week 14 of prenancy, hv on n off heartburn and stomach bloated. Went to see GP was prescribed with Axcel Eviline Forte Antacids, famotidine and domperidone. I went to google actually Antacid is nt advisable to be taken during pregnancy, any mummy hving the same issue here..

2021-06-14Today is the worst day for me. To find out how much i treat my siblings in law as my own siblings and turn out? They decided to lie about my husband whereabouts even my husband ask them they dont have to. Is it wrong to ask if they are at home or is my husband with them? Now, i decided not to go my in law house and not gonna let the siblings to touch my child anymore. Had enough. My parents in law are nice to me but i dw to show my ugly side to them because their children provoke me. This is why i always told my hubby we have to show a role model to our child because we experience of lack of love and education.

No one to take care and yet I cannot send my own kid to IFC? Husband also feel that I shouldn't send our kid to IFC as he is still v young. Sigh, how like that?
2021-06-14Hi mummies who have successfully stop breastfeeding, may I ask how do you go about doing it? I understand from friends around me and some mummies around me that they drag pumps and only express a little out to ease the discomfort. I’ve been dragging my pumps, from 4 hourly - 5 hourly - 6 hourly - 12 hourly and today I just decided that I should stop doing that if I want to stop breastfeeding, and so I did not pump and only hand express out a little to ease the heaviness in my boobs during shower time. However during the 2nd time I do hand expressing, I notice that there’s little lumps underneath both my boobs and the side of my boobs are slightly pain when I press it (feels like blocked ducts that I got before previously but was eased off when I pumped). Side story, I’m an exclusive pumping mum. So mummies when you’re stopping and you felt such pain and lumps what do you normally do? And how frequent do you hand express it. I choose not to use pump to ease because I tend to empty my boobs entirely which is not helping me in stopping. Please give me some advice. I’m stopping because I’m heading back to work and it’s tough to keep up pumping.

Both seem quite evenly matched in terms of Google Reviews (high ratings) but PEM seems more established than Star. 2021-06-15I want to share my experience with mummies. I'm currently 13 weeks 6 days pregnant. I experienced bleeding earlier this morning. I went straight to see my gynae and was informed the cause of bleeding is because there's a polyps. Gynae did a scan and baby is fine. I've been scheduled to remove the polyps this coming Saturday. The bleeding should stop after the removal. 🙏 My advise to all mummies out there. Stay calm and go straight to the gynae if you experience any bleeding. 2021-06-15Hi to all.. here i have no qns to ask but just sharing that i just had a miscarriage due to the pinkish spotting i had. The pinkish spotting turns to a bright red n then it get to heavy flow. And cramping too. At the end early today i went to the E&E. I didn’t know how miscarriage looks like. I didn’t know that i miscarriage already when taking the urine. I just felt a lump came out and thought it was a blood clot. To my surprise when the doctor to the scan, they couldn’t find my sac. Then that i know the piece of lump in the toilet bowl was my sac, my baby.. this is my second miscarriage this year. I dont know why is this happening to me. I’m not strong to handle this for the second time.. why is it has to be me.. i cant handle this..

2021-06-17Hi All, I had spotting at week 9.3. In the week 7 scan we could see the heart beat and the baby was 1.05 cms. How ever when we did the scan after I saw spotting the baby has not grown much. I see spotting after the scan as well. Doc suggested D and C process to flush out the fetus. 1. Is there any side effect of D and C surgery ? 2. Should I wait for few more days to see if there is any further growth or this is clearly a miscarriage. 3. Also any idea on the cost of D and C in Govt hospitals? Right now am in private hospital and I was quoted 3.5k for the procedure. Any response would be very useful as am first time pregnant. Thanks in advance

2021-06-17Hello! I’m at 31+ weeks with pre-eclampsia and gestational diabetes. Although I don’t exercise, I’ve been trying very hard to watch diet and keeping blood sugar in good check, but the conditions doesn’t improve. My baby is most probably due by C-sect anytime now should the doc deems fit and will require NICU (private rates). I worry for baby’s health and the hefty costs to be incurred from NICU. I have very supportive and encouraging husband and family. But I cannot help feeling lousy and incompetent and seems like nothing is within my control. I stopped talking to baby for a while because I’ll cry when I do so. Even now as I’m typing this I’m tearing and I’ve been having sleepless nights. What can I do to change my mindset and be positive and not transfer my fears to baby? What more can I do to ease my body conditions and to reduce financial burden? 2021-06-18Trying not to stress myself. 22 weeks pp. LO refused to latch so I bottle feed him with my bm. He's a mix feed baby since birth as he was in the NICU & my milk only came in on the 7th day. I used to yield 30-60ml for both sides (so little! 😞) and managed to build a milk stash cos I was nursing him back then but my supply started to drop alot when my LO refused to latch or drink BM in the bottle but now he's starting to drink it again so I keep pumping every 2-3 hrs and even do power pump for the sake of him. Looking at him drinking my bm till finish really makes me so happy! My right breast is super lazy & only yield not more than 5ml & I can only yield around 60ml for both breasts a day, everyday even after hand expressing after every pump and it's really depressing no matter how much I drink water, Milo, eat oats, all the milk boosting stuff and still the same result. I have milk stash build on April but because I have high lipase milk, the milk stash smell sour and LO refused to drink and will gag! So I started to scald my milk and he seems to be enjoying it most time, chilled but now I only have a few packets left. I keep pumping and store in the fridge and collate the day's milk to feed him then top up with fm. Hoping to build more stash so I can also put in his solids when he start to eat later. Breastfeeding can be so depressing at times but I try not to think about it. My LO is very active though and he's a very happy baby, always smiling and babbling!

2021-06-18My husband and I did an experiment, and realise our baby sleeps better without the aircon. When sleeping in an air conditioned room, she makes alot of incomprehensible sounds and her quality of sleep is rather bad. Note that the temperature is set at about 26. We have been sleeping without the AC these few days and we realise she stopped making those sounds, and is sleeping better. Anyone knows why is that?

2021-06-19How frequent do you pee during 3rd trimester? I'm constantly having the urge to pee, like every hour during day time, n waking up 3 times a night to urine. Is this normal? Or I'm having UTI ? I have history of UTI before
2021-06-19hello mummies, can i know what’s the timeline of each test and checkups like? currently 12 wks. from what i know there’s glucose test and gender scan, but i’m not too sure what’s the time line like. would be helpful if someone can give me a timeline so i wouldn’t get so worried 😅 thanks mummies!
2021-06-19#advicepls anyone experiencing/experienced blood clots in the first trimester and pregnancy still doing well? i have two clots but gynae said it’s not affecting the baby, currently at week 11, i have no bleeding though. currently also on progesterone pills. still very worried that the clots won’t go away :(
2021-06-19Hi mummy, how many diaper should a 3 month old baby has? I have recently increase his milk intake as he started to sleep through the night. As he doesn’t really reject milk, I’m worry that there might be a chance of overfeeding him.
