2021-03-22Husband and I have too many differences. Many times I felt that he came from other world/planet *with my eye rolling* 1. With such hot weather, he only bath once a day. On my!!! 2. Every week I had to ask him to clean the floor, wash the toilet & fan. When he wash toilet, he only wash the area that are dirty. When I keep quiet, he doesn't even bother washing. 3. I had to set a so called a time table for him to wash his hair & change his home clothes twice a week. Or else he can use the same clothes at home for 1 whole week! *he is working from home. 4. Our daughter is 1year old and he can't remember her birth cert and spelling of her name. 5. He doesn't shave daily. Recent incident, he only shave when his boss needed to meet him on zoom! 6. He always have to habit of giving our daughter her left over milk or food whenever she had enough or stop eating. Which I find it very irritating. 7. Whenever I am busy, I always had to ask him to help to change our girl's diaper when it's already full. He won't do it automatically. 8. He doesn't allow screen time for our girl. I understand but I feel that at times we can be flexible. Maybe once week during weekends or once a while give her 5-10mins of screen time. But he doesn't agree. 9. He has a very messy (and somewhat dirty /sticky) working table because he sweat and he doesn't clean his work area. Which I used to help him to clean once a week but I sort of give up already! There are many other things I really can't stand about him. I can never finish listing them down. Lets be fair to him. What I like about him. 1. He is financially stable. 2. He is mature. 3. He helps with washing of dishes. 4. He is not abusive. 5. Helps with marketing. Sorry for long rant. Thank you for reading.

I'm sooo worried.. i read up alot and it says it might be pre-eclamsia. 😔doctor requested for my urine samples to see if its UTI or something else. 2021-03-22Isit common when friends started their own family and communication between friends gets lesser and sometimes silence? I got a group chat with small group of close friends, which most of us are married, 2 has just gave birth, few are currently pregnant. I'm currently baking one too but in 1st trim so I havnt break the gd news to them yet. We used to be active in our chat, esp when one started with something, the chat can flood up to 100 msges within short period of time. But now, some read but only reply with few words and went silence, some read without reply, but I still see them active in social media. I felt we are drifting away.. Sometimes I have tried to create convo when I shared some news or funny stuff from online but not much response from them. I don't know am I getting sensitive and emotional in this or is this norm in this stage of life.

I’m 17 days postpartum from my c-section and is currently feeling okay, no pain at the incision area actually and I’m off painkiller 1 week after coming back home from hospital. 2021-03-23My 3 month old baby is already able to flip and roll since 2.5 months. But the worrying thing now is, he now prefers to sleep on his tummy. I wld always put him down on his back but somehow in his slp he will turn to his tummy or sleep side lying. Whenever I see it, I'll turn him to his bck slowly but tt's when he'll wake up and started crying and it's hard to get him to sleep again. I've ever let him sleep on his tummy while monitoring him the whole time and he cld sleep a solid 2 hrs nap, as opposed to just half to an hour in the afternoon. Both my mom and MIL said can just let him slp on his tummy as long as nothing ard in his cot tt can suffocate him but I'm just so worried esp at night cz sometimes he look like as if he just faceplants himself on the mattress. He wld usually sleep for abt 5-6 hrs at night. Do any parents let ur baby to sleep on his/her tummy, especially through the night? #1stimemom

2021-03-23Hi guys! I’ve seen a number of articles saying drop side cribs are unsafe but most retailers in Singapore seem to only sell them. Any thoughts on safety risk and past experience w them? I personally think risk of them being unsafe is fairly Low, assuming they’ve already passed the usual safety tests and are in brand new condition.
2021-03-23My 1 month old baby is on mix feeding. We went to see a PD 4 days ago bcos he vomitted numerous times a day but he seems fine the next day (the day we went to see the PD). PD says probably due to the phlegm & congested nose. Give saline to soften the mucus. Currently he's refusing to feed on formula and will only drink 20ml before he vomits a little or spits out then will cry as if he wants milk but when I gave him, he refuses. But he latches well and will latch for probably 10 mins eventhough I yield very little milk for now then he will cry again bcos not enough. Not sure if this is normal? I'm so confused with what's going on and not knowing what to do. He's a premature baby so there's many things that I need to look out for in case I need to bring him to the emergency. #advicepls

But he drinks this well and he gains weight faster (premature baby). Changed to Nan Optipro Ha and his stools are green and loose. Is this normal? Or should I change his milk again? 2021-03-24My baby is turning 3mth next week. He used to drink 110-120ml per feed but recently having poor appetite drinking only 60-70ml per feed. Even so, I have to kind of ‘force’ him to drink as he always fuss and reject the bottle or use his tongue to push the bottle teat to the side and bite. Not sure if he’s teething as he’s been drooling quite a bit, always trying to suck/bite his hand and have been waking up more in the wee hours. I am worried he’s not drinking enough. Anyone face the same issue?
2021-03-24Been working from home since covid and only went back office on certain days. Currently I'm in week 7 and feeling so restless and lethargic, after meals feel nausea and uncomfortable. As I do not have much work to do, only gets busy during mth end, I felt bad to just laze at home when I'm WFH, I would just rest on sofa, either watching TV, scrolling social media or take short nap. My manager (doesn't know I'm preg yet) has ask me to pick up some courses during this period but I'm not in the mood. I've tried to attend online free course but nothing goes in my brain as I couldnt concentrate. Sometimes, I feel lousy and I cried. I feel like I am just wasting my time having each day passes and do nothing. But I'm really not in the mood and no motivation. Is it normal?

2021-03-25Hi mummies and experts, I read that pregnant mums are encouraged to sleep on their left side. I'm starting my second trimester and have been sleeping on my side early into pregnancy every night (using a maternity long pillow). But over time, I found that my body is oddly distributed: more lob-sided on my left side with a small bulge of flesh? Not sure if it's due to the position of the fetus or my shifting organs. So I look like a mild 'S' from the front with that tiny bulge. Wondering if mummies out there also experience the same?

2021-03-26My baby just attended 5 days of playgroup in a reputable school. During first day of school, she had injury during playtime and her class only have 4 kids including her with 2 teacher. 2nd day the teacher came and ask me if her assesment for regular pd check up is it normal? She's not able to sit down during class and tend to be playful going around. I think the teacher trying to tell me my baby is hyperactive child. From then everyday she sure feedback to me on how naughty my baby is etc with pictures. Today the 5th day attending school, her teacher came telling me that she isn't behaving well again running around. She's not like a normal baby. Is this normal for a teacher to keep repeating this? I believe every child needs time to adapt it's only 5 days, my baby just started playgroup. Is it true that all child wil sit down listen to class since day 1 attending school? And out of these 5 day my baby has only manage to eat 1 time in school. She goes to school from 9am to 12pm now only. I don't know how can I trust the school to out her in for full day. #advicepls
