2021-03-08I was diagnosed Pre-Clampsia when 1st pregnancy during week 36, and induce during week 37. Try to Google and find out that usually pre-clampsia will be coming back in 2nd pregnancy also, im doing FET this month attempt for my 2nd baby, wonder is this a good choice or not.... as I don't want to risk my life also... 2021-03-08What happens if LO fails 3 hearing test? My boy pass his right ear but fail on the left at nb hearing test. Went for a repeat test at 1 month,was told that his both ears failed. Currently he just turn 2 months. Went for another test,both ears needs to be referred. Was told to do another detailed test which requires LO to be mildly sedated(oral sedatives) Any mummies facing the same issues? Im so worried.

2021-03-08Hi, I wanted to buy the maternity insurance so I have approach my agent. Prior to that, I was diagnosed with ovarian cysts and have make known to my agent on the claims regarding the cysts surgery. So during the session with my agent, she insist I declared that I have ovarian cysts (even my gynae told me this have nothing to do with my pregnancy and my kind of cysts are unlikely to cause complication during delivery). So to apply for this maternity insurance, I need to submit together with my diagnostic report of my ovarian cysts. To make matter worst, my agent was unsure whether I can be insured under maternity insurance. Today, my agent inform me that the company requires me to further furnish, 1) Harmony Test/Oscar Test and 2) week 20 detailed report (I have to bear all the cost). I am so furious! I mean what has my ovarian cysts have to do with the abnormalities of my baby?! I am so angry and decided to withdraw my application. Any mummies with ovarian cysts but managed to get insured under maternity insurance? What maternity insurance (other than GE) do you recommend?

2021-03-09Hi mummies and MTM, I am in my 1st tri (week 6 based on LMP), but haven’t experienced any morning sickness. Some symptoms I have are slight breast soreness and tiredness. Missed my period and tested positive on 2 Mar. Went to the gynae at week 5, but couldn’t see any sac, was asked to go back in 2 weeks. Anyone had no morning sickness but have a healthy baby? 2021-03-09Hi there I’m currently seeing a private OB for my antenatal checks. We have been paying over $300 and $200 for the last two visits. Aside from the high fees, waiting time seems to take over an hour too even an appointment was made. Our doc was okay, 2nd visit he seemed rushed and didn’t made much effort with us except explaining that I’d need to take the Harmony test at the next appointment. After discussing with my partner, we agreed to get a referral to KKH for subsidized care. We will pay a little bit more to get the same gynae for subsequent visits. Just wondering if anyone made the change and if KKH is good? Compared to a private doc. Thanks!

In the first pregnancy, i started having brown discharge and doctor gave pills to stabilise the pregnancy. Unfortunately, it wasnt enough. Fast forward to 2021, am pregnant again but it didnt start with spotting but blood straight. Gynae just took a blood test and gave me 1 week HL. Should i be very worried still? The first loss was already traumatising, am afraid that this will be a recurring one. Anyone gone through this?

2021-03-09Mummies out there, how do you deal with in laws when they annoy you? These are the things I hate (just to list a few) - 1) My MIL wants to see my baby but I am expected to bring my baby over. 2) Unmarried SIL with no children and no experience taking care of children come and tell me how to take care of my baby. Yes I am sure you know better *sarcasm*. What makes you think you can go around advising parents? Are you expert in the field? What experience do you have? 3) SIL likes to pretend punching baby in front of him. Why would you do that? Don't you know children learn by modelling? Ohh... sorry I forgot (refer to point 2) 4) Aunt-in-law who advocates hitting children to discipline them. She even tapped/hit my baby on his leg to demonstrate. I don't even bear to hit my baby. Who is she to do that? I regret not stopping her in time. Hope to hear some advice on how to deal with stupid people.

2021-03-10Hi, first time mom here. My daughter currently 2m3days, i used to feed her 100ml-110ml breastmilk in bottle and if formula i give her 90ml. Normally she drink every 3-3.30hrs but recently she keep wan more milk, even cry after finished her milk so now i gv her 120ml for both breastmilk and formula and she drink every 4-5hrs. Is it normal? Should i worry that a 2m old baby drink 120ml is too much for her? Cos my friends’ babies all drink much lesser.

2021-03-10my husband doesn't get me gifts for special occasions (I used to fight w him over this many times and he still doesn't get me anything for valentines day and wedding anniv), he also doesn't ask about me or even talk to me much, we sleep in separate rooms currently as we have two kids who can't sleep together so we hardly meet too which is funny since we live together, even when we are alone he is just on his phone and doesn't attempt at any conversation. he is a quiet person but he has no problem texting in group chats with his friends. since I became pregnant with my 2nd, I haven't felt much love from him. he doesn't buy me tonics or push present. is our marriage over? should I end it or continue since he is a good father who is hands on and provides for them financially.

2021-03-10Hi, I found out that I am pregnant. Now, I’m in my 6th weeks. Haven’t go for scanning but confirm with polyclinic that I’m pregnant on my 5th weeks. But I find it weird that I got no implantation bleeding, spotting and nausea. Is this normal? Had a miscarriage once on 2018. Had 2 daughter already but both had the common pregnancy symptoms. Been latching her for 15mins each before every feeding both left and right breast but still no breastmilk produced anymore. 2021-03-12Hi mummies, i have a twin boys they are 2 years old. Since 29 Jan 2021, 1 twin is down with fever. After a few days, start coughing and runny nose. His cough has alot of phlegm. Went to see GP and it start recovering but still have slight cough with phlegm. Then 2nd twin start to have fever, cough and runny nose. They have been recovering but the sickness keep coming back till now. I understand they are in CHildcare so it’s easy to get sick. But they have been sick for a month plus nw. Have try GP, Pd or even TCM. I dunno what should i do next? Now they are having fever. Went to GP and got ibrufen and paracetamol. #pleasehelp

2021-03-12I'm currently in my 15 week and turning 4 months next week and lately I've been feeling paranoid and worried about my baby. Like the growth how is the baby doing etc. It's been 2 weeks since my last appointment and i only managed to see my baby for only a few secs as the doc was kinda in rush which idk why😭 (I'm a subsidies pt under KKH) From the first appointment till my last i haven't had a chance to hear my baby heartbeat (anyone experience this before?) but the doctor told me my baby is ok and that everything is fine. So far I've done 2 appointment throughout my 4 months of pregnancy and i won't be having any appointment in my 4th month. My next appointment would be in 5 weeks time so i need to wait a total of 7 weeks to see my baby 😭 How do i get rid of this feeling? I tried to be positive and told myself everything would be fine. But I'm just worried. As my bump still look the same, still bloated, my body still look the same as before i was pregnant. No major changes for now but I know everyone is different and they say that if you're first time pregnant it took quite awhile for bump to show up. Throughout my journey, i haven't been experiencing any morning sickness. I mean i do have some but it wasn't that bad. only a few secs of nausea a day and prob once or twice a week. 2021-03-12Does anyone of you have a second gynae? I am currently seeing Prof John Tee at KKH and I am sticking with him till the end. However, we find the appointment dates to be too far apart, such as the dates being two months apart (I'm at 21 weeks now). 2021-03-13Mummies, am I doing it right? I pump about 3-4 times a day & I read that we can combine all the milk (for that day) in 1 bag but provided it is of the same temperature. So what I did is normally I will store the first milk into the storage bag and subsequently I poured the others into a container, keep in the fridge to get the same temperature before adding it into the storage bag with the 1st milk. After adding all for the day then I freeze the bag. Is it the correct way? I'm 1 mth post partum & my milk still hasn't come to that point where it is enough when I nursed my baby so I have to top up with formula too. And I'm trying to build a milk stash and gosh pumping is so exhausting! Minus all the washing the pump parts after every use 🥴 while nursing can hurt too. I keep having milk bleb on both breasts but I still nurse him eventhough it hurts. And also, why do my breasts smells like baby's vomit after I pumped? Is it normal? My baby will sometimes gagged when I nurse him but he will latch on after that. I wear a nursing bra & also a breast pad as I keep leaking.

Finally got preggy but when did the 1st Trim scan for down syndrome, the scan showed thick NT. Literally broke down when Doctor shared this news. Was told to do more tests.
