- 2020-11-09I am 2 weeks late in period but does not seem to have symptoms of pregnancy. Temperature has been on the low side. I kept feeling hungry but maybe my gastric problem. I am scared to test as afraid of disappointment.

- 2020-11-09My last visit to gynae was about 2 weeks ago and my next one is scheduled in next 2 weeks. I am worried cause not seeing baby for 4 weeks. Last few days I dont feel constantly hungry, is it normal?
- 2020-11-09What do you ladies say when your in-laws keep hinting/asking when are you giving them a grandchild, when they don't know you've been going through a few cycles of tears and disappointment trying to conceive? Any good comebacks so it doesn't keep happening over and over at every gathering?
It hurts when they drop hints/ask outright, because it reminds you of the pain and stress you had suffered while trying.
[NOTE: Not close with in-laws, also not staying with in-laws]

- 2020-11-09I am currently pregnant at 30 weeks. All housework I still have to do. My husband is busy working and he always have night meeting till very late and have to help me. My husband brother not working always don't help cleaning up after eating or just leave it on the table and waiting for me to help him to wash and throw all the stuff. I am very tired of it already. This is not the first time already. MIL also doing the same things helping his sons to talk say his son is very busy always and rushing for his stuff. Make me do all the house stuff and carry heavy stuff sometimes and also help them to buy things.
- 2020-11-09By next week (Tuesday), I will be in week 37.
Has anyone went through induce?
This is my second pregnancy.
Previously, I gave birth at week 37 because my cervix has started to dilate at week 36 and I was considered to be in active labor due to my contractions.
My waterbag didn't burst though, the doctor popped it during midnight and I gave birth in the morning around 8am.
Next week, I don't know what's going to happen. I told the doctor that I want to give birth at week 37 and she told me that is possible as by week 37, it is considered to be full term plus I did a 2 jabs of steroids at week 34 to mature the lungs faster.
Other than popping the waterbag, are there any other way that the hospital will do to make the baby come out? I'm curious.
- 2020-11-09Is the flange size wrong?
- 2020-11-09I have a low placenta at week 31, doctor advise to do another scanning at week 35 to reconfirm again if c section is a must. Anyone know if during this short period any chances for placenta to move up?? #advicepls
- 2020-11-09Continuous exposure to smoking - direct and passive - not only increases the risks of birth defects, but can cause your baby to develop asthma, allergies and more frequent lung/ear infections after birth.
There is no "safe" level of smoking during pregnancy. Have you kicked the butt?

- 2020-11-09Or only during 1st trimester?
- 2020-11-09Anyone started a new job and was already pregnant? How did you break the news to your boss and when is a good time? Is it on the 1st day of work? 1st week of work? Or 1st month of work? Or after confirmation?
- 2020-11-09Are we supposed to stay clear of consuming raw sashimi and salads throughout the whole pregnancy? If no, when is a safe time to eat in moderation?
- 2020-11-09I had a miscarriage about 2 months ago. Now I get irritated and agitated very easily. Sometimes I feel ok, but sometimes I feel upset. I realise I even yearn for a baby after going through miscarriage but I’m so afraid that the same thing will happen again. Anyone feeling the same as me?
- 2020-11-09I've always wanted to have a big family.
I already have a pair though. First born was a daughter and then a son.
Most of my husband's friend told him that he should stop making any more babies because in chinese they believed that having a pair (1 girl, 1 boy) are considered good luck?
I wanted at least 3 children but my husband told me that 2 is enough 🙃
We're currently in our 20's and I thought that this is the right time to make babies because by the time I turn 30, I don't intend to get pregnant anymore.
How to get my husband to agree?
- 2020-11-09Hello! When announcing your pregnancy news to family/immediate relatives, did anyone face gender favouritism comments? My husband is the only son, and his dad is also the only son. His aunt had jokingly commented before during CNY gathering about how important it is for us to continue the family lineage (?!), i.e to have a boy. My FIL is the most traditional person I know, and there's a high chance he will comment about how our baby better be a boy once he knows of our pregnancy. Of cos we could just smile and ignore, but deep down, we know it will affect and stress us.
Is there a good way to let them understand that such remarks are insensitive and unnecessary? #1stimemom #advicepls
- 2020-11-09Hi mummies. Can u share what do u prep for ur 10m old baby?
- 2020-11-09I'm a first time mum, currently 37 weeks 3 days.I went to go for a checkup last friday and doctor says that the baby is healthy and the head is already facing down plus baby weight is 2.8 kg.While i was behind the curtains i could hear him talking to the nurse that is inside the room that if i did not deliver within 38 weeks, they have to do c section on me.Is there any cases similar to mine?cause i'm scared that maybe the baby is too big thats why its risky for natural birth or something, plus so far i don't feel like i'm giving birth anytime soon cause baby still happy being inside instead of coming out#firstbaby
- 2020-11-09I'm 18 weeks pregnant now. The app shows by this week I should be able to feel baby's movements and kicks. But I don't feel any yet. I know each pregnancy differs. But when I search articles it is showing some experience baby's movements as early as week 16. But I am already at 18 wks 4 days. This is making me little worried. Should I consult my gynec sooner? #firstbaby please help

- 2020-11-09My 4-month old babygirl has been in infant care for a week now. She’s hardly drinking milk in school; only 50ml-100ml every 2hrs or so. Only once she drank 120ml/150ml. Her teachers tried increasing but she only drank 50ml yesterday. She’s in infant care from about 9am till 4pm, and her milk feeds are mostly only 3 times per day while there.
I breastfeed when at home as she refused to be bottle-fed by me/husband. Kept waking up every <2hrs last night for milk and I direct latch. She naps well in school though. Very worried that she might not be gaining weight properly. Any mummies experienced the same situation, or any advice please?

- 2020-11-10Are we supposed to avoid throughout pregnancy or eat in moderation?
- 2020-11-10I feel so guilty and bad but at the same time I don't know what should I do.
I am married but I'm just like a single mother. I paid for my labour, preparation of baby arrival and till now my baby is 5 month old. I got judge really badly but no one know what I gone through. They just blame me for being a bad mother.
When I found out I'm pregnant I try to quit smoking. But eventually I failed I smoke during my pregnancy but I did not exceed 10 sticks a day. And ppl judge me I didn't bother. I went through hell 4 month pregnancy all sort of harassment call came because my husband owe gambling debts. 7 month into pregnancy another pile of gambling debts came again. I ever thought to commit suicide I tried but I failed. I can be less stressful by smoking so I didn't quit.
After birth I'm a fully breastfeeding mother I have enough milk supply. So I manage to cut down to 3 stick a day and making sure I don't smoke before latching. 2 weeks later my husband got into trouble again. I'm very stress with taking care of baby with no help and my husband just won't give me peace making me crying everyday. I smoke back again to 10 sticks a day. And I'm being judge again.
Yes smoking is not good best is to avoid I know I'm guilty and I'm trying to minimise the harm but do anyone know how stressful it is? Yes I received comment like why don't you give formula milk instead? I'm jobless I'm relying on my savings to pull through this stage now. I have lots of breastmilk why not waste it. Is that wrong?

- 2020-11-11Hi.
Is it safe to breastfeed newborn after hair bleaching?
I planned on getting my hair done after 9 freaking months 😅

He has started eating cerelac since he turned 4 month so i don't know if it's because of food that he's been having rashes.

- 2020-11-12That not the worse. The best part is he told me that he have to go back to work because he have a new staff which start working tml.
Is he rest day on our anniversary day.
I never expect to have a genius worker who can handle everything well just by two days.
But everyone learn and growth. At most, he can guide his staff as much as he can willing this 2days. For sure he can ans phone call, if his staff need help.
I'm told by my spouse that if I have thing on and I have to work in the same day, just take mc. Work aren't priority. Dont put work in the first place. ( As I don't take MC unless I can't get up my bed to work). He told me this and now....
Is he just want to work instead of accm me?
I don't see any point of he have to get back for this reason.

- 2020-11-12Wondering if any pregnant mummy is suffering from the same issue as me.
I’m currently 22 weeks pregnant, and my foot starts to feel painful 2 days ago. I feel that it’s swollen but my husband said it’s not, but it’s dead painful. I couldn’t wait properly or sleep well because it hurts with just a gentle touch. Prior to that I went for a 30mins brisk walk so not sure was it cause by long walking.
What should I do with it ? Can I put salon pas?
- 2020-11-12I actually tested 3 positives with different brand of pregnancy test. I do feel breast pain and at times abdominal pain. My tummy is very flat still. I read on Google that if cancer is presence, it may show false positives on those pregnancy test as well. I hope it's not abnormal growth.
- 2020-11-13Hi mummies out there can share how old does your baby starts sleeping through the night? And if your baby sleeps does you feed him? Mine once lasted for 8 hours and I am not sure if it too long since his last feed. He is nearing 7 months old

- 2020-11-13Hi all, im 21 weeks pregnant but my tummy still looks kind of small. It looks like fats on my tummy or look bloated like I have just had a meal. I am not a small built body but of a medium size and my height is 166cm. Is this normal? At which month will my tummy will look round and obvious that i'm pregnant? Thanks!
- 2020-11-13Hi to all mummies, this is my second time pregnancy. I had a miscarriage before due to fetus wasn't developing properly at week 7 resulting a natural miscarriage. My current one is going on perfectly but I will be taking panorama test soon to test for Down syndrome and other abnormalities. I am having phobia from 1st miscarriage that I am afraid the chorosome might be missing or having additional. Anyone has miscarriage before and has a healthy pregnancy the next one?
- 2020-11-13Do babies sleep more ?? Like they'll wake up and then sleeps back ..?? Im curious tho .. #1stimemom #firstbaby
- 2020-11-1336 weeks, 3 days.
Yesterday around 7 pm, I was 1 cm dilated. Had regular contractions every 2 - 5 minutes and when checked the cervix at 10.25 pm, I was 4 cm dilated already.
Contractions still continues until today. Cervix checked again but unfortunately the dilation progress has stopped, still at 4 cm.
I don't know how long I will be admitted in the hospital because low chance that I will be discharge due to contractions and I'm already 4 cm dilated. The doctors are afraid that I might go into early labor.
For now, I just took panadol for pain relief.
I'm planning to get induce at 37 weeks since it's considered full term already. I took 2 jabs of steroid to mature baby lungs.
What concerned me is that I may or may not deliver before 37 weeks. The doctor told me that there is risk delivering baby at 36 weeks, low risk but there's no need to be in NICU.
They can't induce me before 37 weeks because it's against the law unless if my waterbag burst or I'm progressing (dilation)

- 2020-11-13Hi Momss!
FTM here wondering which Newborn Milk Brands are recommended? Thank you!
- 2020-11-13I’m 30 weeks 3 days pregnant and my baby’s weight is already 1.8kg. Anyone has a similar experience?? The Gynae told me that I have to cut down my meal portions as the baby is getting too big.
- 2020-11-13So i was ask to go into induction last week as gynae said bb is big, and me being first time and my bb is not low enuf, she suggested caesaren. However, i wanted to go for natural birth as it will b better for both bb n mummy. So we agreed to induce 3days ahead of our edd. Day of induction, we were in labour ward for 20hrs but still, induce failed. Water bag broke(i think my gynae rapture it earlier), but cervix not opened.
Gynae says we hv to go for c-sec by then, and we agreed as bb cannot wait any longer with a broken waterbag for 12hrs...
stayed in single bedded room for 4d3n,package paid at 7k+.. however, at discharge today, the bill was 16k juz for mummy and 1.7k juz for bb. Looking at the breakdown, gynae charges alone is alr 7k ..
Is this normal? shud i question? #1stimemom #PEH #DrTing #advicepls #firstbaby

- 2020-11-14Hi fellow parents, just wanted to ask if it's normal for my LO to be resisting naps at this age? He has always been a bad sleeper in the day (since NB!) but recently it's been terrible... We usually only get about 3 naps of 30min each daily.
Is this normal?? I am worried that he is severely overtired since all the websites recommend total day naps of 3-5h.
He behaves normally but recently has reduced his milk intake and is very distracted when latching. Also he keeps waking in the night when previously he was able to sleep well and only wake 1-2x.
Help!! Some advice or reassurance needed :(
