- 2020-10-21Hi guys. It has been 5+ months since I gave birth. I am having a very severe case of Hives. I have seen 6 doctors (including Skin Centre) and they have ruled it out as DUE TO STRESS. I am caring for my 5+ month old son on my own while I work from home during office hours. It has been over a month since I am having these hives and some days, it is really really bad. I am desperate to find a solution. Any of you guys have encountered this and how did you guys get cured? It is easy to say don't be stressed but if I had more help, I wouldn't have to but it is not an option now. I have even resigned my job and serving notice period now so that I will be less stressed up with hopes that the hives go away. 3 months post partum, my grandmother who I am VERY VERY close with passed away too. I feel like my life is a mess and emotionally i can't cope. I do not know what else I can do to help myself.

- 2020-10-21So here’s the situation. For the first time, my in laws has been asking money from us. And it’s $20K cash money to buy a house.
They have been planning to purchase a smaller house and stay near us. I have been married for two years with two beautiful daughters. So recently, they just sold their 4rm flat and downgrade to smaller house. They found one but after the agent calculate their own CPF, additional with the our housing grant etc etc, they are still short of $20K.
Usually they will ask my husband for money every end of the month but I simply brush it off cause it’s not much anyway. But this time round, they are asking $20K from us.
My husband and I do have the amount in our combine account (our emergency account) but I, as a wife is still contemplating to borrow them. It’s not $1K-$2K we are talking about but $20K. And even if I were to lend them 1/4 of that $5K-$7K, I’m scared they will take their own sweet time to pay us back. Cause they still need to find another half and pay it accordingly.
So, if you were me. Will you willing to give/lend that huge amount to your in laws or ask them to source for something else, eg: personal bank loan? #advicepls
FYI, we have never ever ask them for money throughout the years. Even for our wedding reception, the sum of money that we paid fully came from our blood and sweat. They just shake leg and do nothing. Same goes when we have our own house and when I give birth. So idk if I should lend them ours.

- 2020-10-22Hi, im a FTM, currently baby is 16 days old. Everytime when i tried to latch him, im only managed to latch for ard 15 to 20mins. And he will asked for milk again after 1 hour. Lactation consultant said it may be because of wrong latching position of due to my breastmilk supply not fast enough. I tried to pump out for 30mins and only managed to get around 40 to 50ml milk (total left & right) which is not enough as his feed is 60ml. Usually pumping the milk comes fast during first 10 to 15mins but i realised it slow down after which.

- 2020-10-221. LO (8 weeks) ebm intake can range between 590ml and 850ml. Should this much difference in amount be normal?
2. My baby is most of the time sleeping through the night (about 7 hours) at 8 weeks now since 1 month+, and usually his last intake would be close to midnight. Otherwise his usual routine is every 2-hrly. Yesterday night, he woke up at 11+pm at night crying (her last feed was 9.30pm). I would usually offer my ebm right away so that he could sttn with a fuller stomach, but it was the first time that when he cried at 11+pm, I managed to pat him to sleep yesterday and he still hasn’t woken at 5am (writing as of now). Felt guilty and wondered if he was really hungry when he cried but he managed to fall asleep. Should I have offered him the milk then or let him sleep?
3. While baby is quite accurate at waking up 2 hourly in the day, his feeding timing is not quite the same everyday e.g. his first feed of the day is sometimes at 5am sometimes at 7am (depending on his last feed) which will then affect his next feed. Should this daily inconsistency in feeding times be normal at 8 weeks old and that I should just follow his hunger cues?

My baby is 9months now, usually when me and my hubby bath her together there is no problem and she's not crying but last few days my mom,my niece and myself bathe her together she started to cry and after that incident she cry all the way to today when me and my hubby bathe her. Even before i entering the toilet with her, outside the toilet she cry already. Any mummies face the same as mine ? How do u manage it?

- 2020-10-23Just want to share this amazing cream!!
My baby had eczema for very long to a point where he is non stop scratching till the spots bleed.
Ive tried many many many creams/moisturizer (Hydrocortisone, Ceradan, Mustela, California Baby, Suubalm kids, Sudo cream, Diaper cream, Eczera, aloe vera, baby oil and many others) and I even changed his diet, clothing/bedding material and nothing works!!!
UNTILL I WAS GIFTED THIS CHINESE CREAM OMG IT IS A MIRACLE! Seriously, after applying it just went off after two days, as if my kid have never had eczema.
I was given this so not sure where to get, can try TCM or Taobaoz

- 2020-10-23Currently 20 weeks pregnant. I keep having this tightening feeling in my belly or what is called braxton hicks a few times a day. Comes a few secs then goes away. Baby is moving well inside. It's not painful but an uncomfortable feeling.
Not sure if this is normal or not? I Googled and apparently it's normal since this is not my first pregnancy. Of course, I have never felt this before with my other pregnancies unless I'm in the 3rd trimester and nearing to labour. Anyone feel this currently or have felt this many times in a day before?
- 2020-10-23Any good one to recommend? Thanks 😊
- 2020-10-23My mother is in early 50s. In the last 2 years, her moods have become more and more erratic and ridiculous. Sometimes I feel that she is behaving like a teenager with PMS. My #2 was born in feb, and she didn't wanna come and see him. Her reason was she thinks he's a very unlucky baby, born and caused the whole world to suffer covid. Seriously???
There were other things she said which made me boil, e.g. my children also not follow her surname so she don't. She also lied to my husband that I sent her insulting messages which I didn't. How is "thanks" insulting?
Since I was young, I see her as a compulsive liar who can really lie through her teeth. I don't know if this is menopause or mental problem. She has been the nasty one but she always go around telling people i'm the one doing what she did to me. Does menopause break up family ties like this?

- 2020-10-24My mum wants to take care of me during my confinement period so I have to stay with her. However , her house is small and there is no room for my husband to stay. She expects my husband to travel a far distant everyday to see me. Which I think it’s unfair. My husband has already taken a month leave to help me out and his place is huge and comfortable. My mum is saying that no one is going to take care of me in my husband house and insist on staying with her without my husband.
Is it nice if I just go ahead and stay at my husband place and get his aunt or a confinement lady to take care of me?
