2020-10-05Anyone like me facing this? Sleeping about 10+ and find yourself waking up to toilet urgencies at 2-3am, and have trouble going back to sleep. This has affected me quite a bit as it will take me another 1-2hrs before I can fall asleep again. And I have to wake at 7.45am to prepare for work :( Can't sleep even when I leave my phone aside. She has been taking 90mls every 3hrs however recently she seem to be wanting it every 2hrs for every meal. noted that the recommend dose online for fomula milk is between 720-780 mls per day. if i were to give every 2hrs with 90mls, her daily intake will be ard 900mls. how much milk do mummies give their baby ard this age?

2020-10-05I have a 3 month old baby who will be going for his vaccination soon. My mum keeps asking me to feed him barley water before and after his jab to prevent a fever. I am not keen to feed my baby anything other than milk in his first 6 months though. Any thoughts? Did any of you feed barley water to your baby at 3 months? Or you’d rather wait too.

Sil kid behave good look matured and good to understand what people say to her so intelligent , but my daughter the more say no the more she do and she nvr understanding not matured... 2020-10-06My 1 month old plus baby (week 6) is suddenly crying a lot more than usual especially during (bottle) feeding ebm and drinks less than the usual 90ml. It’s challenging to feed him. Teat size seems ok - using hegen slow flow but make take at least 30min to drink finish and sometimes falls asleep midway. Other than that, he seems very alert these days. Is this his first leap? Whenever I carry my LO she would cry after a few seconds and this might be due to me perspiring excessively emitting heat while I cradled her in my arms. 2020-10-07Hi mummies my infant is 3 months old and his head feels warmer than usual. I measured his temperature at the armpit area and is below 37 degrees. His forehead temp is a little higher but below 37.5 degrees and this has been going on for about 4 days. I thought it could be the thermometer is spoil. 2020-10-08Hi Mummies, How to train your baby from sleeping in baby craddle to sleep on bed ? I have to make my baby sleep in craddle first then , I carry her out to sleep with me on bed at night. As she keeps flipping and moving when I try to pat her on bed , sometimes, it takes me 2 hrs to make her sleep and she still can't sleep . As now she keeps flipping , and she will sit inside the craddle , it's very dangerous . Therefore , I hope I can train her to sleep on bed instead.

2020-10-0835 weeks 1 days, getting easily tired with taking care of my 2 years old lil son he so active. Do housework, and cooking. Im blessed but my body can't help it. I'm getting slow and heavier when walking do things in my house. I feel like wanted sleep sometimes.
2020-10-08Hi Mommies, My 4-month old son has been having diarrhoea for the past 2 weeks. Though not all poops are watery, he poops about 6 times a day (which was what led to me thinking that he's having a diarrhoea.) Been to the paedi 3 times and sent stool for testing and all turned out well. He's on probiotics - Biogaia even before this episode of diarrhoea. Formula wise we are using Similac Total Comfort which is already lactose free and very gentle on the stomach. He's still active, eating and sleeping well. No signs of dehydration. Only concern is really just the frequency and texture of poop. He poops so much that his butt is already quite sore. Any of you have experienced this? Can you please share if there's anything else I can do? Or is this going to be the new norm because doctor told me so long he's still active & stool test didn't show anything alarming, it shouldn't be too worrying. I've attached images of his poop.

2020-10-08Hi mummies I'm feeling really torn inside, I need to know if I'm overreacting or not. My family has always been on very casual terms with our helper. She's really good with our daughter so we also treat her like family, I sometimes listen to her talking about her own family and problems. Likewise my husband is also very casual with her. She's 1 year younger than him. He likes to make jokes and pranks so he sometimes plays around with her like jumping out from a dark room to scare her. I am a little concerned about their interactions tbh, but I don't say anything since it's probably just his personality, he's like a big child. But today I felt like he crossed a line. We were talking about my 10 week pregnancy scan. Husband: my mother says this baby is a boy. Me: how do you know? Husband: because the pee-pee is very big, like sir. He even referred to himself as sir so it's clearly the remark is directed at the helper. She just laughed and was like oh my god sirrr. But I was completely shocked. I felt it was so out of line and inappropriate. I felt insulted and hurt because he can make such a joke at our helper right in front of me. I immediately confronted him after, and told him it was very inappropriate and I'm not ok with it. I said if it happened again I would send our helper back home. He basically just said I overreacted and "it's on you for reacting this way". I was at a lost for words. I felt like he just shifted the blame on me and dismissed my feelings. I didn't know what to say to him anymore so I locked myself in the room and bawled my eyes out. This isn't the first time it happened. A while ago there was an incident where he pranked the helper by pretending his hand was dirty and then swiped it on her face. I already told him I was uncomfortable and he said he would stop, and now it's happening again. What should I do mummies, I don't know if my feelings are valid or I'm just overreacting. Should I be worried about my marriage? We have one daughter and another baby on the way so I definitely won't let anything happen, but what can I do? Please provide some assurance as I'm feeling really hurt (maybe those pregnancy hormones are contributing also).

2020-10-09Hello all, care to share with me your symptoms during the last few days or last week of your pregnancy? I’m starting to feel nauseous and my hands are swelling more every day, my feet too. Walking and sleeping hurts too due to my tummy. Been peeing much, much more than I usually do. Yesterday was my appt and all 3 attempts of taking my blood pressure was pretty high. Doc used a doppler to hear baby’s heart beat and all is well. My EDD is 19 Oct, is it anytime now? Question1: Anyone experienced different kind of symptoms or anything I should look out for apart from the contraction timings, mucus plug, water bag leaking..? Question 2: And how much walking should I do to help with labour? Should I climb stairs everyday? Also, I haven’t had intercourse with my husband for 3 weeks now afraid I might trigger labour as I plan to carry my baby full term. Also it gets too tiring and heavy to have sex. (We do not stay together, but they come everyday) The most irritating part is my parent in law always follow me n hubby go out on every weekends.
