- 2020-09-14Hi everyone! My husband and I are facing some troubles with our 15mth LO's sleep. Its been 2 weeks and nothing sort of a nightmare. It started out with just fussing around his nap times but he still naps more or less per schedule. Now the LO doesn't want to nap at his scheduled timings (he naps twice a day, 10.30am and 4.30pm), just jumping around in his cot, delaying his nap. Or just screaming his head off until we come get him. At night he falls asleep even before finishing half of his milk, and is an hour earlier than his usual bed time. He wakes up late the next morning too, 1.5hrs past his usual waking time. Does this mean our LO has transisted to one nap? Thanks for reading and any advice in advance!

- 2020-09-14In my 2nd trimester and this is the second time in 2 trimesters that I had swollen gum but this time it is more painful and it kept me awake at night. I can't even open my mouth fully and can't eat properly without feeling pain. So I took only 1 paracetemol to help ease the pain & I gargled with salt water this morning.
Any other tips that can help ease the pain?

- 2020-09-14My baby has recently grown 2 bottom teeth and he was sick last weekend. Hence he was cranky and bit me really hard while DL. I think he was shocked by my reaction, and he now is quite adverse to DL. Whenever I position him for DL he would wail. I am feeling very emo because he don't even like me carrying him now. He is turning 7 months old and have not DL for 3 days so I am exclusive pumping. Is this the end of DL? I'm so sad.

- 2020-09-14Jus wondering, should we prepare the milk for baby in advance before he/she wake up? Or store the milk (put in warmer) for more than 1 hr ? My MIL always prepare the milk in advance before my baby wake up, sometimes my baby sleep longer than expected then she just put in the warmer untill the baby wake up.
I feel this is inappropriate, as the milk is not fresh anymore... she said to prevent baby from crying and no need rushing to prepare when needed. She prepare the formula using 100° boiling water and rest until it cold, she said cannot mix with room temperature water. But according to the instructions on the milk can, it says cannot use 100°c boiling water to prepare the milk..
Mummies out there, any advise? First time mum here, no experience..

Anyone took it there?
- 2020-09-15Hi everyone, I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant. On my 16th week, there were brownish/maroonish discharge after i pee. However, there were no other form of bleeding that is enough to be seen on the pantyliner. As i’m a type 2 diabetic, i’m considered to be having high-risk pregnancy. Hence, i went to A&E to get it checked (i went 3 days after the 1st discharge). The doctor only said that it might be cervical ectropion and gave me progesterone.
I went to my gynae 2 weeks later and again, i was prescribed progesterone but the gynae didn’t address anything about cervical ectropion. The discharge still appear even up till my 20th week and i ran out of progesterone. Should i head back to the doctor or is it actually nothing to worry about?
Kind of worrying as its my first pregnancy and also a high-risk pregnancy. #advicepls

- 2020-09-15Hi. Just a concern...
Once I start work my LO will be staying with my mum from sun eve to fri eve as there is no one to take care of him at home and we do not want to put him at infant care or hire a nanny/maid.
He will be 3.5months when i start work.
Its impossible to pick him up and send him to my mums place everyday due to transportation and work timings...
Will he forget me if I only spend two days with him? I’m very sad I can’t do anything about it..... any mummies in the same situation? ;(
- 2020-09-15Hi mummies, I just need someone to hear me rant without judging or anything.
My in laws and husband have been wasting my breastmilk as if it’s free (yea free because it came from my boobs)
My FIL poured 140ml of breastmilk into unwashed bottle thinking it was ok for baby to drink and normally my baby only drink about 80-100ml every feed so I don’t understand why he must pour out so much breastmilk. FYI, baby can get diarrhea from breastmilk if it have been left out for too long.
My husband left my bag of breastmilk in room temperature overnight (before dinner till the next day lunch then he remembered) FYI, I latch my baby at night.
My MIL would pour more than what baby can drink and when baby doesn’t finish she will try her luck again and again forcing my baby to finish it. Sometimes I’ll just tell her to pour it away when it have been out for too long. If not she would just pour in new breastmilk into the old breastmilk and feed baby again at the next feed which will make baby sick. FYI, she didn’t breastfeed her own kids. She would even tell me “never mind, got a lot breastmilk”
People call breastmilk a liquid gold for a reason. Breastfeeding mums would even cry over spilt breast milk yet I don’t understand how can they just waste my breastmilk like this even after telling them so many times how precious it is.

- 2020-09-16Here it goes. This is my last line of hope left. Few months ago, i found my first discovery of my husband screenshots of women barely dressed in a private file. I gave him a chance. My family told me that it is normal for guys to look at girls in that way. What hurt me most is if he looks at celebs it's fine but he looks at people who are his friends or girls he finds online. I feel really insecure. This thing keeps happening over and over again. I'm really hurt now. A week ago i saw two tinder notifications on his phone. I confronted him and he told me he was just doing that bcoz he got upset with me last night. But yesterday I saw on his google apps that he was searching for tinder yesterday. He even texted girls in a too friendly manner.Everytime i confronted him he will get really angry and now I just don't know how to handle this. I have a baby and currently pregnant. I really need your advice.

Few days ago I was admitted due to some discomfort in my tummy along with slight contractions. They did the scan while I was there and my little nugget now seemed to move her way back up instead of head down. I'm on my 36 weeks now and my appointment with the gynae will be in a couple of days time. Before being discharged, I was told that the gynae will help to turn little nugget back down for my upcoming appointment. I hope all is well before she decides to come out. Please keep me in your prayers 🥺

- 2020-09-16My baby is turning 8 months old in a few days and I suspect that she's having sleep regression right now on top of teething.
She's been waking up every single night for at least 2-3 times while crying miserably. Whenever I put her back to her bed asleep, she'll wake up in the next 30mins - 1 hour.
I've noticed that if I co-sleep with her instead, she can sleep till the morning (about 3 hours from the last awake time during midnight).
She was in the middle of sleep training previously and everything was going well before everything went haywire and I'll probably need to restart the entire sleep training again.
Is it advisable to just let her co-sleep with me during this sensitive period of hers so she can find some comfort from teething pain + sleep regression?

As a mother iam very concerned that only my milk would not be enough for her.
Ps - she weighs 7.2kg
Help mommies 😣
- 2020-09-17Hi my baby is 1 month 24 days.. near her mouth there seems to be a fairer shade.. but when i stretch her skin out.. it doesnt seem to have a really round spot of white skin shade.. not sure is it because of phototheraphy and her skin is becoming fairer again or what? Any mummies encounter this? It doesnt look like fungal or rash... havent brought her out to the sun too.. so i dont think its cause of the heat.. hoping to find answers! Thank u.
- 2020-09-17This is my second pregnancy and it's my first boy. The experience is way different from my first pregnancy... it's bigger and heavier! Good thing is I don't have morning sickness at all from first trimester till my last trimester.
My first pregnancy with a girl... I suffered from depression , all day sickness and spend most of my pregnancy journey at the hospital though. It was tough! I started showing at 7 months and people thought I was only around 4 months pregnant at the time and because of my depression... I was induced at 37 weeks. I still suffered from depression until I drastically loss 10kg of weight.
But it was different with my boy. I enjoyed eating and I started showing quite fast... it's so big although I'm a small build. No morning sickness , happy most of the time and now that I'm in my third trimester... I started to feel the pelvic pain and I can barely walk. It's so heavy! Started to suffer from backache. Is the baby coming anytime soon? I'm afraid that it's earlier than expected though. Everything is so painful , still... I can't stop eating

- 2020-09-18Can i know how do the doctor actually know the estimated baby weight and is it accurate? Because on my 28 week i got some condition and went to the delivery suite the doctor told me tat the baby is ard 1kg, 3 days later i went for my detail 28weeks scanning the nurse told me that baby is ard 1 to 1.1kg.... However because is under subsidise i see the doc next week to get the report for the 28week scan. However, doc told me that according to the scan last week, the baby is 1.3kg to 1.4kg🤔so who should i believe? Because the same scan but diff weight.
Moreover i just went for my 35 week normal ultrasound scan i was told that my baby is just 2kg😐so I'm not sure whether which to believe?
And normal ultrasound is more accurate or the detailed scanning? #1stimemom #firstbaby #pregnancy #advicepls

- 2020-09-18Hi mummy, is it normal for mixed fed baby to not poop for 2-3days? My LO is turning 6mths and I've noticed she's been pooping once every 2-3days since last week. She started mixed feed when she's 4mths as I'm unable to meet her demand when pumping. I will always DL when she's with me. She used to poop 2-3 times a day when she turns 4 mths. Then it decreased to at least 1 time a day. Now it because once every 2-3days. Should i be worried or is this normal?
