- 2020-08-24I am returning to work soon and like to reduce my milk supply gradually. I have been increasing my pumping interval from 3 to 4 to 5 hrs (each 20mins/breast) for the last 5 days. My breasts is starting to clog and I worried it will cause mastitis. Can I take lechthin to remove these clog? How to reduce milk without getting clog and mastitis?

- 2020-08-24I had a chemical preg bout a mth ago. My husband and I decided to try again right after that. This morning I felt like testing eventhough I know I should wait for a week after I miss my menses. I honestly don't know how to feel because of the previous encounter. What if it is another chemical preg?
PS. I have to inform my workplace if I find out bout the pregnancy because of certain work hazards. But telling the management too early in and then experiencing a chemical preg later on, is causing me to be worried to tell them or not at this point of time. #chemicalpregnancypregger

- 2020-08-24Would you stay in a relationship where you feel like you don't matter or your worth is being trampled? Been together for 4years and i am 7months pregnant but these days i feel really lonely and tried to talk to my partner about it but he doesn't want to understand neither does he show that he cares. We haven't been talking for almost 3 days now and i cry every day asking about my worth. I have depression even before my pregnancy, now i feel even worst because i am carrying my baby in me but im going through all of this and i have no one to share. He really makes me feel worthless. I feel like i shouldn't continue with whatever has been planned, like waiting for confirmation from HDB, waiting for ROM. I just don't feel secured because if he can do this to me now, ignoring my feelings and live his life as if nothing happened especially now that i am pregnant & needs his presence most then he might be able to do the same even or worst after right?

- 2020-08-25I am currently in my 34th week, and I am supposed to be giving birth at TMC with Dr Jasmine.
Because of this covid situation, i voluntarily took UPL because Im working at a hotel which is now currently a gov facility and there are positive cases. Because its voluntary, i dont get paid and i cant get help from gov.
So now, i only could depend on my husband. We realise that we dont have enough for the hospital fees if i deliver there and thinking about changing to NUH.
Has anyone ever done this? How is the procedure like? How do I request to change hospital? 😔

Then we were thinking of changing diaper brand to see if it will get better. Any recommendation? I tried rascals and friends before. - 2020-08-25My husband still the same... Never change... Once a gamer forever a gamer. Think that have to do and like we decide to get a monitor for the baby room buy my breast pump and etc he say he will get one... But all I see he didn't do any research but he always playing game. Computer game... Or mobile game with friends.. important thing like we talk about never done...
Always Computer or phone.
And he getting lazy to massage me those day too 😒
His mother say he seem stressful those days...ask to not to disturb him if he need sleep..(I wonder who are the one carrying a baby). He stress and my stress never less and my stress is 3times... Stress for him, baby andy
My self too.
All I can say is this is mother nature. Only can't see Thier children suffer. But other people children.....
I need to do something to keep my mind in a healthy lifestyle. When I share this to my friend they say they really worry that I will get depression after I give birth. I think they just overthinking. But the closest my edd is the more I worry about with.
I have also just started my maternity leave. I feel that a lil too early.. my edd is 13th sept. But my husband ask me to take 1mth leave in advance.he heard about it from his friends that the edd will usually 1to2weeks early. But I take early leave.... It make me get into depression easier. At work is kind of tried. But at least I have thing to do and won't be as boring as I'm sitting at home. (I still do house work. Not at if I'm really enjoying my life doing nothing at home.) Other then mopping I still help out with the housework.
But he still complaining about mopping the flr... Sometime he is joking but sometime I feel tht he mean it? Idk
I can still mop. I do mop the flr at work. If my PT nvr help me mop. So, I can stil do that at home. Just will be alil difficult for me to stand up.
Going to due soon. Last check up he have to work. The next check up he HV to work too can't take leave.. :(
Or tho I'm good to go myself. But is I forget to ask any question he will say thing kind of thing how can u forget.... :( Sometime the doc also have to remind us... But why my doc don't...

- 2020-08-26Hi, need some advise from mummies who face this issue before.
My LO will be going to IFC next week, turning 3months in 2weeks time. Previously decided to put him in IFC because no one can help take care of him when im back to work. However, recently my MIL told us that she got retrenched and she offered to help take care.
Im in dilemma whether to put him in IFC or withdraw him and pass him to my mil.
The IFC is my ideal choice in term of distance and supposely the waiting time is more than 1 year but in view of covid, we manage to got him in much earlier. Also, registration fee and school fee has been paid. Im very insisting to put him in IFC as in the long run, i can put him in my ideal school up till K2.
However, my mil feels upsad that we choose IFC over her. Previously as she is still working, i does not want her to quit her job for the sake of taking care of grandson. In long run when my son turns 18months or even nursery, he will still go to school, by then her "duty" is done and she has nothing more to do. Now she got retrenched, she said she got more time to care for her grandson. But i dont want her life revolving around grandchildren. She is in her mids 50s, still fit to work. We encourage her to look for new job and she can still take care of grandson over the weekends. But she mentioned let her take a break and see to situation.
I dont mind letting mil to take care of my son but i will lose the slot of IFC which i dunno if by 18mth i can secure the slot or anot. If i insist on IFC, my mil will be upsad and sure mil/dil relationship sure turn bad.
Haix, what shall i do. 😭

- 2020-08-27My child is 14 months old now. He babbles gibberish at times but have also learnt to identify some people like his caregivers, papa, mama, yeye, etc. I realise we tried teaching him signs to which he does it when we say it without realising the meaning. Like he shakes his hand when we ask him if he doesn't want his food but he leans forward and opens his mouth. I'm wondering when will he realise the meaning of some of the words we are trying to teach him and articulate his thoughts more clearly..

- 2020-08-2828 days and 220 diapers later (an avg of 7-8/day which you can expect) .... Have tried Merries, Huggies and Pampers, all have the urine indicator, good for newborn. Find HUGGIES platinum the driest when full, and guard works best for diaper poop out. Also tried Drypers and Rascal+friends which have no indicators and are not as absorbent, price all around $0.25 each +/- $0.05 so I think just stock lots of Huggies bah. Wished other people posted this and due to confusion from incomplete postings by lots of other parents, decided to add my own 😅. 😝

- 2020-08-28Hi all, as the title says.. currently we bathe the baby in one tub of water, put him in and and then soap him in the same tub and wash him up. Everything seems to be fine but I’ve been wondering, since we Soap and wash in the same Tub and water sometimes he bite his toys maybe his finger with soap... does it matter? Or is it that the baby soap is very Mild and meant for baby to bath Like this hence little Consumption it’s ok. So
Far my baby Is 7 mths has all along no issue bathing this way.
Is this how you guys bath your toodler if not how should we do it? Thank you

- 2020-08-29i am coming to 31weeks pregnant and things are not working out with my husband. i decided that i do not want to continue with the relationship anymore, deep in me of course i do want to cause we've been together for 4years and this is our first baby together.. but as i look into how things are and how he treats me after every argument or times when i have my anxiety attacks etc he doesnt seem to care even when i told him about my feelings and what i want. i am in pain every day now because my depression and anxiety attacks are back in life and all i need is attention, xtra love & assurance now that i am in my third trimester but he is not understanding it. there was once i was at my parent's and anxiety attacked me of course they would call my husband but he got mad at me because the call didnt get through and he didnt receive anything from me or my family saying that they lie and all. am i doing the right thing? i have been trying to endure everything since the start of my pregnancy but its the same.
