- 2020-07-27Hi! I am at my 27th week. Turning 28th week in a couple of days time.
I have not been gaining weight much since the beginning of this pregnancy. And no- I never had any morning sickness. I am currently working from home and try to have long walks and a mini trekking for the past few weekends - nothing major. Should I be worried? I am a KKH subsidised patient as compared to my first pregnancy whereby I went to a private gynae so we couldn't really check on baby's growth for each checkup.
Here is my progress thus far.
13 Apr, Mon - 56.2kg
13 May, Mon - 54.7kg
12 Jun, Fri - 56.2kg
17 Jul, Fri - 57.2kg
My current weight goes up and down from 57kg to 58kg.
What are your diet or meals like? And are you ladies gaining weight? I want baby to gain weight and be healthy so I am just worried cos I don't seem to be gaining much weight myself.

- 2020-07-27Hi mommies, mommies-to-be,
Can I check whether it's necessary to buy maternity insurance? My request has been denied by the underwriters pending further submission of pelvic ultrasound report / obgyn report as I have fibroids from even before I was pregnant. However the fibroids didn't interfere with my ability to conceive and during my regular gynae visits my gynae said that the fibroids are small and inconsequential to my pregnancy. As I'm very busy with work and wouldn't be able to schedule a pelvic ultrasound outside of my regular appointments, I'm thinking of forgoing the maternity insurance altogether given that I've been regular with my gynae visits and have also done my OSCAR test. Hope to hear your thoughts on this pls. Thank you!

- 2020-07-29Today my baby's been in 28 weeks. I've gone to medical checkups, medications I've taken blood, scans and consultations with doctors. My scans from blood check ok no problem, my baby is all ok healthy, my water is just enough And the doctor says if there is no change to 36 weeks of gestation then it must be cesar process.. I feel anxious because my third child should I run a cesar process between fear and worry but behind it all for the safety of mother and baby, I hope there is a solution to my story today..

- 2020-07-31Anyone able to advise if my solid food incorporation is safe for 6 month old?
(Baby sleeps from 10:00pm to 9:00am every day)
9:30am - 180ml FM
12:30pm - 180 FM
3:30pm - 180 FM
6:30pm - 120ml (8 tbsp or 4oz) of solids*
9:30pm - 180 FM
Total: 720ml FM and 120ml solids per day
Solids introduced so far (with no allergic reaction)
- sweet potato purée with rice cereal
- apple purée
- pumpkin pureee
- avocado purée with rice cereal
- potato purée with rice cereal
My LO has no display of over-hunger between each meal and able to finish up the given serving for every feeding session.
I just hope I am not overfeeding him solids as I have seen many parents shared that their LO only takes up to 4 tbsp of solids per meal.
Just tad worried that too much of something is not good.
Thanks !
