- 2020-07-13Hi all, I am currently 30 weeks pregnant today. My doc told me I got more amniotic fluid than usual and hence explained my huge stomach. I was told to reduce sugar intake (although I passed OGTT) in the hope of reducing the fluid. Doc said might cause early water bag burst and early delivery.. I tried googled online but there was no natural solution to reduce. Anyone experienced before?
Some background: I also got UTI which did not cleared after a week plus of antibiotics and started taking blood pressure med for this pregnancy at end of first trimester.. And what happened if UTI still can't cleared after antibiotics? First time experienced UTI.
I just hope I will have a safe delivery as I got a miscarriage before in 2017.

- 2020-07-13Hello mummies,
I'm on my 26 weeks and it seems like I have been having difficulties to sleep. It's impossible to nap in the afternoon too! I'm exhausted, but it's just so hard to fall asleep! Day after day it just gets worst ☹️ Is this because my tummy is growing and that it's hard to find a comfortable position to settle in? Cause most of the time I see myself struggling in doing so. Plus, the aching spine and calf makes it even harder too 😭

- 2020-07-13Hi, may i know what to do with old baby bottles???
- 2020-07-13Lately I've been having fast heartbeat and alil shortness of breath. I know sleeping on the left is better for baby but wouldn't I be adding more pressure on my heart? Bcz before pregnant, I'd sleep on my right as i learnt that it is better for the heart. I feel that i cn breathe better when sleeping on my right but am worried that baby is not getting enough oxygen. Im currently 4 mths pregnant.
- 2020-07-13Hi mummies! My lo is turning 1 month in a couple of days and we have since increased his formula intake from 60ml to 90ml. I noticed that my baby has a hard time burping and will sleep when he's thoroughly full, making him not want to burp and that results in spitting up the milk he drank.
Is this normal or should i reduce back the formula intake to 60ml? Should i change his formula?(lo is currently on dumex dulac)
Mom told me that baby might have colic and we have put on a binder for him. So far he's only spitting up milk if he doesn't burp so i don't think it's colic. Does anyone go through the same with your lo? How do you tackle the burping issue?
I usually don't let him lie down till he burps but kinda tiring for me as i have chores to do and i can't complete them if i have to be with my lo all the time.
Help please!

- 2020-07-13Hi, my daughter is 3.5 months old and formula-fed. She has a feeding aversion and cries badly the moment she is placed in the feeding position. She has reflux, which has probably contributed to this situation. Also, due to our lack of knowledge earlier on, we tried to force feed as she was drinking so little :(
Anyone has any suggestions?
So far, we try small frequent feeds to address the reflux. We are trying to show her that feeding can be a positive experience too.
Anyone been through this?

- 2020-07-13Hi mommies, my 3-month-old daughter suddenly changed her drinking habit. Since 2 weeks ago, she dropped her intake by half (from 900ml to ~ 500ml per day). And for the past 1 week, she refused to take milk from bottles, be it breastmilk or formula. She had been taking milk from bottles since birth without any resistence. Now she gets angry, arches back and forth and pushes the bottle away by hands. She only accepts latch-on. My breastmilk supply is not enough for her consumption. Hence, I can't let her go on without formula top-up. Any mommies experience this before? Please help me! Thanks alot!

- 2020-07-13Hi! I’m 25 weeks today and tonight I can’t seem to fall asleep. My bump is quite big now so I have to lie down on my sides instead and I constantly have to put a pillow or blanket under my bump or else my belly feels so uncomfortable. Usually after I put a pillow, I’ll feel okay but today every position that I sleep is just wrong. My belly feels uncomfortable. And I have heartburn. And I’m wide awake at 2am and I’ve to be up by 6am for work. Any suggestion?
- 2020-07-13Hi i have issues recently with my MIL . It’s quite saddening that my MIL love to control me and my husband’s regardless it is about work or our marriage. So i am currently 31weeks pregnant - before i even reach my third trimester she has already try implementing on how she wants her grandchildren to be taken care of and takecare of the child as if it was her own. Not letting me or my husband had a chance. But after quite sometime me and my husband stood up for ourselves and she obviously wasn’t happy about it. I don’t know whether to blame my pregnancy hormones or just that some people are really too much?

- 2020-07-14My 9 weeks old baby used to finish all his milk and gets hungry every 2 to 3 hours. Lately, he has been drinking much lesser and at longer intervals, sometimes up to 4 hours. He seems less interested in his milk as well and will spit out his milk and cry when we try to make him finish his milk.
He is still acting normal other than that. Has anyone experienced this before? I am quite concerned as he is drinking lesser than the recommended amount for his weight and his weight gain has slowed down.
Thanks

- 2020-07-14Hi mummies. Am i able to open a bank account for my baby? Is there any min age?
- 2020-07-14Some may say, " it's still a blessing "
Some may say, " at least you can conceive, think about those who can't but really want to "
Some may say, " gender doesn't matter "
YES, I get it! I know... I repeat, I KNOW.
But deep inside my heart, " I've always wanted a boy " * sigh *
My husband too... my family.
Hi, I'm a young mommy. I got married at 20 years old and I had a daughter.
When the first time I got to know that I'm pregnant, I thought I'm going to give birth to a son but I was wrong. Disappointed yes, but slowly I can accept the fact cause no matter what she's my bloodline and I love her.
In my family, the first child is always a son but I shouldn't be surprise because in my husband's family... it's a daughter and more daughters.
I took family planning after giving birth to my daughter and soon after that my husband wanted a second child and he said, " let's try for a son " I agreed. I got pregnant soon after 1 month of trying, guess we're both young so it's easier to conceive 🤔
I am currently 5 months pregnant, I'm so happy. I still don't know the gender though and I'm so nervous to know... I don't want to put so much hope cause most of my symptoms are showing that it's going to be a girl again... people in my surroundings was saying things like, " Oh you're craving sweet stuffs, it's going to be a girl again " " It looks like you're having a girl "
Argh.. just stop! Don't tell me things that I already know 🥺
I told my husband, " What if it's not what we expected, YOU expected ? "
He forced himself to smile and said, " It's okay. " but I know him very well that he really wanted a son.
I'm just afraid that he could leave me if I can't bare him a son.
My grandfather once did that to my grandmother but it was the opposite, she couldn't bare him a daughter instead.
I'm tired of trying, I have no interest in trying for the third one. Please, I'm a career woman... and honestly I can't bare to have a lot of kids. People are saying things like, " Keep trying "
I can't. Honestly, my personal expenses are quite high and I wanted to give my children the BEST. 2 kids are enough for me 😌 I don't want to have so many kids and what? Can't afford their wants / needs ? I'm sorry it's just my observation... certain people can't stop giving birth and end up not being able to care for all their kids nor have enough for their needs. I don't want to be like that...

- 2020-07-15Hi mummies/mummies to be!
I’m currently 25 weeks pregnant. I have a lot of pregnancy apps, and I read a lot about pregnancies online too. So I know vaginal discharge during pregnancy is normal.
Before I was pregnant, I already have vaginal discharge. Mild smelling, white. Normal.
But eversince I got pregnant, I have more discharge? I read online. But I’m confused whether it’s normal or is it yeast infection?
My discharge is white, creamy/milky. So I use a panty liner to avoid staining my undies. I realise that the milky/creamy white dries in my panty liner to quite a yellow colour. If I don’t have time to change the panty liner frequently (cos of work, I hardly have time to even go to the toilet), I see that the colour is slightly turning very light green. Not sure if that’s really green or yellow.
Last night I felt discharge coming out so I went to check and this time it’s white and a little clumpy (as the internet describes it as cottage cheese-like).
Is this normal? Or do I have to speak to a gynae about this? 😫 So far I’m in my 6 month of pregnancy and they haven’t checked my vagina yet and I’m not ready for that either because I’m a very shy person... haha. So to tell them that I have discharge, would it be disgusting and embarrassing 😥

- 2020-07-18On the 15th of july this year, i went for the growth check up. Was told to wait outside room 4 but a lady doctor came by and called me in to the other room instead. Not asking much i followed.
The doctor asked me to pulled up my dress and lowered my undies but she has yet to prepare all the requisite... she told me to wait in the room while she went out and me still half undress...
Someone came in after and keep apologising as she explains that the room that i was is down for maintenance last few days and that they finally set it up again today. But the thing is that the computer isn’t working still.. with me still half undress, the lady then came squeezing into the side of where i was laying down and insist on me getting up as she fix the cable.
I ended up getting a really bad morning that day when suddenly she shouted so loud behind me where she’s fixing the cable as she got ELECTROCUTED!!! And a GUYYYYY came in to where i was half undress ! I hurriedly covered myself and they quickly asked me to get down after insisting me to do so !? My husband wasn’t allowed to enter at all and he told me that everyone outside the room was looking at him worriedly wondering as to what happened to me inside. No updates were given to my husband and he waited there anxiously until i came out. The scan turns out to be very unpleasant scan :(
