2019-12-31this morning I had appointment and doctor said I can induce by today 31st or 1st Jan also as my due date is 4th Jan and I had been bleeding n pain since morning. so I went to admit myself around 1am in the hospital they monitor me n said its not erly labour u can go home. then I said doctor ask. me. to. come that's y m. here. bt they say ur cervix open only 1cm so canot induce bt the morning doctor said I can induce anytime as I m 39weeks.plus. don't know who to belive for 2hrs they charge me $150., ??

But I find my work is suffering and my productivity dropping due to little sleep and tiredness. Just find it hard to concentrate at work. Considering to hire full time Helper but will add on financial strain and also loss of privacy. Will not trust helper with baby so will still put at infant care. Is this a good solution? 2019-12-31I did IUI and conceived on my first try. So there is no way my dates are off. Had my first scan at 6 weeks and could only see the yolk sac. Went back yesterday for another scan at 8 weeks, there is a fetal pole but it is measuring at only 6 weeks but no heartbeat. Dr only mention it’s a slow growth and there’s progress from the first scan but other than that didn’t seem too concern and scheduled for another ultrasound in 2 weeks. Give it to me ladies, any advice or experience?

I’ve been using compression socks which alleviates the pain but not sure what else I can do since I’ve heard that it’s not encouraged for pregnant women to go for massage or use salon pas. I already go for regular chiropractic sessions (since before pregnancy) but my next session is only in another 2 weeks. Any tips would be appreciated! Thank you!

2020-01-01My 5.5 mths LO butt hole area rash (not butt cheek) has been around for 1 week already. Stop putting barrier cream and seems got slightly better. After bath or wash, the area near butt hole got red again. But after awhile the redness subsided. I think I'm gonna bring LO see doctor for a peace of mind that it's just a normal rash and not something i should be worry about. Just wondering if I should bring LO to PD or skin doctor? My mummy LO experienced it too?
2020-01-01My LO is turning 5 wks and she doesn't seem to nap for long stretches, at times only 30mins or less and she will wake up cranky. I have tried swaddling, white noise etc but still not much improvement. She ends up drinking every hr or so when she wakes up abt 30-50ml sometimes. She makes alot of grunting noises and keep stretching in her sleep, sometimes throughout the whole night. Is this normal?how to get her to sleep for long? So stressed out by this newborn phase ?

2020-01-02First time see doctor, GA based on LMP was 6w2d but sac measured 5w3d, so I readjusted to 5w3d. Second time see doctor, based on readjusted date was 8w2d, but baby is 7w5d w hb. Looking back versus LMP, the growth is slow by 10 days. While I know the dates can be off, is this 10 days a bit too much? I have a scan next week but I just Want to be mentally prepared. 2020-01-03My Lo is 7m17d. He has been waking up very frequently at night these days. And sometimes stays awake for 1-2 hours after he wakes up. We co-sleep btw so when he fusses and whines, it will automatically wake me up because he's the kind that can't self settle or entertain himself. Also, he needs to be rocked to sleep. What should I do?? I'm going crazy. I'm the only care giver btw. Could this be a 8month Sleep regression?

2020-01-03I read that it is recommended to put baby down in cot while drowsy but awake and let baby learn to self soothe and go to sleep on their own but my LO just not able to do so. She will cry after left in cot and can't go to sleep in her own no matter how I try, swaddle white noise pacifier etc. She will need to be sufficiently fed and have us to carry and rock to sleep. She's abt 5 wks old now do they know how to sleep on their own at this age?

I was told not to follow the vaccination schedule and delay giving the vaccine as long as possible. 2020-01-04My daughter is 3 weeks old exactly. She currently weighs 4kg from her birth weight of 2.89 kg. We feed her a mix of BM (~300ml, 80-90 per feeding) and FM (~600ml, 80-90ml per feeding) Some details: 1) My confinement nanny is taking care of her feedings. 2) she will feed her whenever she cries , to a frequency of 2h to 2-5h per feeding for formula milk. For BM, is can be as fast as 1h-1.5h after her last BM feeds. 3) we are giving her Enfamil A+ for her FM In total, we are feeding her up to 900ml of BM + FM per day. I am worried that we are overfeeding her and have voice our concern to our nanny. But she appears to be nonchalant about it. Are we too overly anxious about this? Is this normal?

2020-01-04I'm 38 weeks now. I've heard that contractions will feel like menses cramps or pain in the lower belly. But today I felt cramps in my uterus, something like tightening / poking pain ( dunno how to describe exactly? ). Not so frequently but on and off. Is this practice contractions? Or normal pain? Why is it not in the lower abdomen but it's the uterus.

2020-01-04I plan to send my baby to infant care but hubby want to ask his mother to come to look after my baby (mil is under 1 month tourist visa), but every time she's here, I really stress, I didn't express it, only kept it inside and also I don't talk much to her. I know somehow it's not good for my health, but I just cannot help it, mil's way of handling things and my way is different. I just want to avoid friction, try not to let her stay for too long, cos both of us is suffering, only my husband enjoying having her mother here. We're moving house in April, he already planning to bring his mother here on May to look after my baby, I refuse that idea and he get angry. that someday he will bring her mother to stay with us. I don't know how I can handle that, staying with her for 3 weeks I already feels very stressed and cannot wait for her to go back, and he wants us to stay together. Maybe someday I'll let him stay with his mother, and I'll rent a place somewhere nearby with my kids for the sake of my sanity.
