I can see he is already sleepy but still try hard not to sleep and will cry murder. Already take note his diapers milk and everything is ok. 2020-04-20Using a baby Nail cutter, I accidentally cut my Baby's left hand last smallest index finger nail too deep and it cause a minor cut, and baby had say 5 to 10++ drops of minor bleeding. After cleaning the wound with tissue & Applied Aloe Vera Gel, bleeding has stop & Baby seems okay now, just that the wound feels delicate at times. Just wondering if the wound will heal say within 7 to 10 days? Is there anything I need to take note of? Would trimming it when baby is asleep a better idea?

2020-04-20hi mummies. when i turn 11weeks, my appetite changed completely.. i dont have any appetite to eat, all the yogurts & milk i bought i just leave it in the fridge, i can't smell meat. one day i was tearing chicken meat, i just feel nauseous. beef is completely a no since i first knew i am pregnant, not sure if baby follows the daddy hahah! i'd force myself to eat even at least one meal, but like want to puke out right after few spoons. every single day, i dont feel like eating.. i'd only be drinking water, at times i can't talk because then i'd feel nausea EVERY 1-2MINS also everyday in the bathroom, i spare 10mins before leaving because of it. anyone else like me?

2020-04-20Any mummies doing mixed feeding would like to share their experience if they are still able to breastfeed till LO is 1 yo by using bottle teats which are say for 6 months and above? As I understand that if I use bottle teats which are faster flow (increase with age), LO might not want to be breastfed anymore as the flow is slower. My LO used to be breastfed but now bottle feeding and I tried to breastfeed back but he doesn't want due to bottle having faster flow..as he is growing, I wondered if I should change to a faster flow teat (now still using 0m+) and still able to breastfeed him? Would like to try bf him back but mixed feeding. TIA!

2020-04-21My LO is 4 months and evynight is a nightmare to put him to sleep recently. Usually day time we can carry him and walk around to sleep. Night time he is very cranky. Doesnt want me to carry or latch. But husband carry is okay. Not sure what is the reason. Is this due to the 4 month regression? When will this get better? He has been slpping btween 9pm to 11pm. It is getting frustrating for me evynight as i am very tired. Given that LO wake up very early and need feesing in thw middle of the night.
2020-04-21Hi mummies, my LO(3 months plus) currently will sleep through the night if her last feed is around 9/10pm. Do we have to wake them up? I will try to wake her up around 7/8am to change her diaper and feed her.

2020-04-22LO got sensitive skin and at 6 to 8 weeks he's got massive baby acne on the entire face with a little cradle cap just around the forehead which cleared, but at 14 weeks just as grow spurt begun, rash came back again. But this time the rashes is fierce but only concentrated around his cheeks. It makes him look rosy but not exactly the good way. He's now just 5 months old and rash persist. I've tried cleaning it with cool boiled water as often as I can in the day , used California baby calendula cream, tried YL baby lotion and nothing quite worked as he drools so much now, they get rubbed off as soon as I applied it. Now we see redness and dry rough skin on his cheeks. Any advice or suggestions? This is not a huge problem that I'll take LO to a doctor during this pandemic and risk our health. So I will just see what I can do to help from home. It's just uncomfortable for him and not major I reckon.
2020-04-22For about 1 year plus I experienced hot flushes now & then and I have so many acnes outbreaks that lasted me for months which can’t subside until now & for some that went away even left me scars. Finally I decided to see a gynae recently and was made to do a blood test on my first visit. When I see the gynae for the 2nd test, my hubby & I were there for the results. Doc told me that my AMH is low, quite difficult to conceive & get pregnant but if I want, we must act faster. Upon hearing this, I felt like crying as I was very upset. You may not understand how I feel when doc revealed that a woman can’t get pregnant easily anymore but I do, it just breaks my heart. Now I really realised why it was so hard for me to even get pregnant with my 1st child back then. It took me 5 years to finally conceive that time. I didn’t know anything about AMH because I didn’t see any gynae to run a blood test after my 5yrs marriage and before I conceived my 1st child. And during the scans I have done back then, I was also told that one of my Fallopian tubes was blocked, that means the chances of me conceiving is very low. However when I finally conceived my 1st child, I was thrilled and my previous gynae also told me the same thing that I am quite lucky because my AMH is running low yet I managed to conceive. Now I am contemplating if I really want to try very hard to conceive. Because of my age I am also worried I might happen to have a down syndrome baby. But if I don’t get pregnant, it may be also a blessing in disguise as my hubby is a MCP, real aggressive tyrant and always wanted to divorce with me after we had our 1st child. So can you guys pls advise if I should try for another baby now??

2020-04-22My 2 month plus boy who is generally on Breastmilk except for night feeds where he is on formula has not taken a poop in 12 days. I have read and it has been said that it’s rather normal given that he is still peeing normally and drinking although he has not been drinking as much as he usually does over these 2-3 days which is understandable. 2020-04-22Hi, I will be 4 weeks 3 days this coming Ramadhan. Is it ok to fast? I've read some say can and some say no. If i remember correctly, I fasted the whole month of Ramadhan when I was pregnant with my first child because I did not know I was pregnant then. I conceived during month of Ramadhan and pregnancy throughout was good and I had normal delivery alhamdulillah.

2020-04-23Hi everyone. My baby has never had any problem drinking milk. Just recently when she turned 5 months, she suddenly doesnt want to finish up her milk. Usually she will finish up 120ml at one feed but now most of the time she will drink until 60ml and sometimes 40ml only. We try to give her interval every 30 mins, hoping she will drink bit by bit but it doesnt work, she still doesnt want to drink. We try to wait 3/4 hrs for her next feeding hoping she will feel hungry and finish up her milk. Still she will only drink until 60ml only. Is it a phase? Im worried she might not be gaining weight much and PD will consider her as unhealthy. Last check her weight was 6.2kg

My baby is 5 mos+ 1 week now and only gained like 3000gms from our last visit to the clinic which was last month, she weighs 5.3kg now length is 63cm, she was born a small baby weighing 2.5kg only, i dont know if i should be worried that she's gaining quite slowly now compared to previous month. I've read through some infos and so far her urine output is normal and passing motion 2x or 3x daily. No fever and very energetic baby. I tried supplementing her with my expressed milk once cause i thought she's burning more calories now that she's more active but she only vomits it out. During milk time she's very distracted and drink fast like 3 mins per breast max, she only drink longer when she's sleepy. Any tips? Should i be worried and bring her to pedia? Next visit is on her 6th month

2020-04-24Currently pregnant with first child. I have a few savings that I segregate for child, myself and joint Acc with hubby. I know I have a lot more savings than my hubby cos he is transparent with me. He shows me how much he has in his bank acc but I can’t bring myself to show him the amount of money that I have in my personal bank acc that I saved for myself and child all these while. Arrangement is I put “dollar to dollar” matching with him in our joint baby acc. He usually give me lump sum and I matched my own savings it. Part of me is afraid that if he knows I have a lot more, he’ll be “complacent”. I always emphasized to him that having a kid in Sg is not cheap and savings is very important. Cost of living in SG is not cheap. Not that I don’t trust him but between me and him, he tends to spend more while I’m now more thrifty knowing I’ll give birth in a few months’ time. 2020-04-25During this CB period working from home with a baby who need feed every 3 hours, but my boss keep conferencing everyday! Because she live alone. She tell our colleagues that she's someone who can't eat alone and she can't be alone. She even suggest my husband to help take over when need to meet deadline (deadline is still sometimes to go) when my husband also working from home he needs to do his stuff too! Men being men, most of the time baby need mother over father. Who is she to teach me how to manage. Yes, she's a lesbian she don't understand, I'm not discriminating, but she's discriminating me since I'm pregnant until now. 2020-04-25I am now 39 weeks. I feel my baby movement like getting slower, softer. I barely feel it unless i put my palm on my bump. However, it is more active between 12am to 2am. I rmb, 1 day b4 ytd i think i didnt pay much attention to the movement and suspect that didnt feel it for whole day. So i drank cold n sweet drink, and lie down, finally feel relieved after got 10 v subtle movements in 1 hr b4 bedtime. My gynae only asked me to monitor is it 10 times a day. Is it normal for such baby movement at 38 to 39 weeks ? Im still waiting for any signs of labour. So stressful and worried what happened inside sometimes.

2020-04-25I am in the 22 week of my pregnancy and I feel slight discomfort at my pubic bone area (right between both thighs) when changing positions (i.e. standing up, squatting down, getting up from lying down position). I don't really know how to describe the feeling, it is a little painful (but bearable) and it feels as if my below is opening up. Is this a concern? I tried googling and it may be pelvic girdle pain (PGP) or symphysis pubic dysfunction (SPD). Anyone has a similar experience before and can share about it? Should I go to my gynae for this problem?

However, as my LO prefers breast milk over formula (my supply is not much and had to supplement with formula milk), I am thinking of pumping at work. Even if I knew I wasn't in the wrong , their own children will twist the stories and then makes it like im the bad person . I am so tired of life becoz of this. Have been getting thoughts to just leave the baby w them after giving birth and just go back to my parents' house . But at the same time, I dont want my baby to dh mother or thinks im abandoning her.
