Previous check up was at KKH, the doctor said that my placenta is rather low but she did not bother to explain what is the cause of it and what should I avoid etc.. Friends recommended me to try Mount A, ACJ Clinic.. but I’m in the dilemma to choose the Gynae. Dr Caroline Khi (She will be away from 8 June to 18 June) or Dr Candice Wang? Any recommendation? 2020-03-02I am close to 21 weeks of pregnancy for my number 2 and is having cramps around my upper tummy and sometimes lower tummy too.. It'll come and go after afew mins and experience this around once or twice a week.. Anyone facing the same problem? I don't remember such cramps during my first one.

2020-03-03I had C section about 1 and half months ago. Very soon it's gonna be 2 months. I having pain at night at the c sec area whenever I turn to the side and then to the front. After I get out from bed, I having pain while walking too. Not only at the incision area but also below(dunno how to tell exactly where) issit the uterus or the vagina not sure. Morning will feel little bit but later on I will be okay. I can walk normally already. Is this normal?

2020-03-03From the beginning i am going to KK for consultation but from very long time I am thinking to change gynae as I am not liking her, she doesn't provide details and whenever i ask her questions she will give very rude answers whenever I send mails for queries she wont reply immediately, she will reply after few reminders. 2020-03-03First I must confessed my spouse is a traditional, super MCP man & loves face a lot, should have extinct in this era. He really expected me as a stay home as wife to cook regularly, iron all his working clothes, maintain house clean & clutter-free, must send & fetch child to & from school daily and still must treat him very nice at home. He doesn’t take care of our child since birth until now. And even when baby & I are out with a lot of heavy groceries & manoveuring a stroller, for several times he would also told me to go home by taking mrt ourselves instead of driving to pick us up. I told him clearly I am deadbeat & depleted all my energy after waking up many times in the night pacifying back to sleep now and then but he doesn’t bother to understand me. Everyday he worked until after 12am then come home. I don’t know what does he treat me as? In this era, he’s still lives in such times expecting a married woman to be like his late mum so capable & independent? For example: 1) Never even babywear like many other dads did since birth until toddler at all. 2) Almost rarely pat or coax our child before sleep. 3) Never once ever wake up in the night to coax child back to sleep. He slept like a dead pig until morning wake go work very late. 4) Never ever wash toilet bowls. 5) Often roar like crazy & throw bad tempers at me & child. 6) Hit me with his elbows very forcefully until my arms blue black when he was the one asking me to wake him up in the morning no matter what happens. 7) Slammed doors very hard when angry. Hit fist on the wall to vent his anger on us. Something is wrong with him but nobody knows as everyone outside thought he’s a super nice hubby and family man. I have no one to talk to as he stopped me from telling anyone, including his family members & relatives. What should I do?

2020-03-03For the past 3-4 days, my almost 11 weeks old girl has been waking up at night almost hourly-- not asking for milk as she falls back asleep immediately when i carry her. Her eyes remain closed throughout as well but fussing/cries. Tried patting her when she wakes up but her cries just get worse... and i would just carry her until she falls into deep sleep and put her down again. About 1h later she w wake again and the cycle w repeat. :( She used to be able to sleep a good 5h stretch each night prior to this, and would only wake up when hungry. What is happening? Any advice?

2020-03-03I had a premature delivery of my baby at 6 months (miscarriage) 10 days ago... The placenta came out with the umbilical cord few mins after my baby came out. But the next day, while still in the hospital ward, i have a piece of placenta hanging out from below there, and the doctor had to scoop out the remains which is the size of my palm. The past few days, i still have bits & pieces of placenta (definitely not blood clot) coming out, followed by a heavy flow of bright red blood... Is that normal? Do i have to go to the hospital to get them remove everything as soon as possible? Or do i just let it be?

2020-03-03My baby is 1 month old now. Used to follow feeding schedule every 3 hrs but now he keeps crying and we do not have a fixed schedule now. He is on fm and drinks ranging from 1hr, 1.5hrs, 2hr, 2.5hrs, mostly 1.5hrs or 2hr. He is 5.2kg and each feed we feed him 120ml. If timing is too close like 1 hr, we feed him 80ml. Not sure why my baby keep hungry? Is this normal?
2020-03-03Hi all, I am currently 13 weeks pregnant. I was thinking of celebrating the end of my nausea-filled first trimester with a relaxing prenatal massage and an onsen spa. However, after calling more than 10 spa centers, they all immediately rejected me to book an appointment. The reasons they told me are: (1)our onsen water is 40 degree and so you pregnant you cannot come in it's too hot for you, (2)our prenatal massage only accept 16weeks of pregnancy onwards you are too early you might miscarry we can't bear the consequences (3) our prenatal massage only accept 5 months of pregnancy onwards it's a policy I don't know why but I must obey. Despite my declaration that I am perfectly sporty and healthy and am low-risk pregnancy, and that I bear all the risks myself if anything happens, they just rejected me outright without any consideration. Pregnancy in itself is already a stressful enough journey. As a pregnant woman, I have already been restricted from many many kinds of enjoyment that a usual person can happily go. And now there is one more item in the restriction list: spa. I feel discriminated and sad.

2020-03-03hi all, i am new becoming as mum. i havent went to doc to check about my pregnancy yet to check how many weeks already. somehow my last period is on 15 dec 2019 and i had sex intercourse on 21 dec, about 27 dec i went to see doc to have someblood test n the result it was negative that i am not pregnant. lets say i had intercouse pretty active since 21 dec 2019 till jan 14 2020. by right 12 jan my period should be come n yet it didnt, so i went to check on my own with pregnancy kits n turn out still negative. on 13 jan morning early i did try to check again n still negative. after a week which is 19 of jan 2020 i try to check n finally i am positive, so my quest is how do i count to knows how many weeks i am pregnant now as i till up today?

Usually she drinks 120ml every 2 half to 3 hours, but recently she's been cranking alot when drinking milk, have to keep trying to feed everytime more than 30min minimum to 2hrs max and still dosent want to drink. Comparing this with other baby detergent, it is by far the best I've used. 1. My baby poonami can be easily wash off don't need rub and soak. ? 2. It can remove the milk stain smell easily too. 3. 2020-03-03My 5 month old just learnt how to flip and she cannot stop flipping at night. She still has a lot of reflexes hence we have been using lovetodream sleepsack every night. My daughter PD prescribed her that to ease colic but I realized ever since she had the probiotic since day 1, she became extremely uncomfortable. And she began to drink less milk. She pooped twice a day instead of usual once a day. But she seems really uncomfortable or to say unwell. Her feeding schedule all went haywire for example at 2pm she drank 50ml then she rejects the milk like mad with anger and hitting the bottle away, then doesn't want to sleep (usually she will nap awhile after her milk), then at 2.45pm she will want to drink milk again (because of the insufficient intake previously). She's currently 1.5 months old and drinking 100ml every 2-3 hours. Should I continue to feed her the probiotic? Tried washing the bottle that I dripped the probiotic in to mix with her milk during 1st feeding of the day and realized the bottle was sooooo oily as though I had butter spread all over it.

Woke up at 5am to feed again. Then I had to pump from 5-6am. Rested another 30 min and baby started crying for next feed. Having a 2 years old baby at home, I m a SAHM so husband is the breadwinner. The only problem is their family rule and those "Stupid and Kepor" relatives. His family rule is 1. I cant talk bad things even like "oh i m so badluck today, i forget to bring wallet" badluck is a no no words for them. Or "please dont drive if u r sleepy,later will get accident how". Black,grey,dark colour is a "no no" colour. I ve been scolded many times until now i only dare to wear red,pink,yellow if going out with them 3. His parents are too obey/ care other peoples opinion esp his relatives. So i must follow and bullied by all his relatives. Sometimes i feel that his relatives is too unreasonable, like when i bring my daughter to their home, and my daughter keep crying, they will blame on me that i m the one who causing my child to become like this(scare when seeing stranger). I didnt educate or teach my child properly. But as I know, my daughter only cry each time meet them (husband's relatives). When i bring my daughter to see my friends/relatives, they all like her so much as my daughter is a very sweet girl. I opt for medicinal instead of D&C. 2 weeks ago, I have flush out a big chuck of blood clot, I have went for a scanned n confirmed the foetus has already expelled out from my body. However, today I have passed out a big blood clot again like a liver size. Is it normal? Wanted to see a gynae but my gynae clinic closed on weekends.

2020-03-06Hi mummies, I have a stash of 7 litres of frozen bm due to LO jaundice so have to feed fm instead. Now LO can drink back bm, however we are doing mixed feeding. Also husband prefers to give freshly ebm and he doesn't want to give LO the frozen bm which are about 3 weeks long. He rather give fm. 2020-03-06Currently planning on confinement. My mom is a working mom whereas my MIL is a housewife. My MIL’s house is extremely clean, neat and tidy whereas my house is normal, sometimes can get messy. Thing is over at my MIL’s if I do my confinement there, there is a single bed for me and my hubby will sleep on the mattress on the floor. And honestly I am not that comfortable staying with my in-laws (also a lot of pantang) as compared to my mom’s. Both moms can help to cook confinement food for me. My MIL also mentioned that she can help to look after the baby (take turns). It’s just that I feel restricted there. Whereas my mom is a working mom, I can’t expect much from her but I’ll be more comfortable at my mom’s. My hubby wants me to confine at his mom’s (more freedom for him in a way) but for me, I know I’ll not be very comfortable. Help.

2020-03-07Hello mummies! My baby is drinking 100ml nowadays but doesn’t always finish all the milk and sometimes left quite a lot. How long can we keep the leftover in room temperature? Can we put back in the warmer until the next feed? If let’s say i put 100ml in the warmer at 12am and she only wakes up about 1am to drink. Drinks about 30ml. Can i put back to the warmer and feed her on her next feeding? Sometimes she wakes up like 3-4am. Is it ok?

I heard what some mummies do is after pumping they put everything in the zip lock bag/ container and keep it in the fridge, and only wash and sterilize end of the day. Is that okay to do so?
