Mums and dads, did you know that Singapore has the second highest rate of cyberbullying (according to a study by Microsoft)?
Isn’t that worrying? What if it could gradually affect your children — and your relationships with them — in ways unimaginable? And if we’re not careful, they could lead to cracks in society and our relationships.
Our society is ever-changing, and it poses the urgent question: are we too late?
An upcoming Singapore premiere by an award-winning play written by Canadian playwright Jordan Tannahill, titled LATE COMPANY from Pangdemonium, explores just that.
The script subtly approaches the relationships between adults, parent and child, and teenagers with their peers. It examines the fragility of family relationships, teenage suicide and the intrusive nature of social media in our current climate of increased connectivity and deeper disconnects.
LATE COMPANY isn’t just any play. It is gripping, riveting and provocative in its own right. And most importantly, it is a timely wake-up call for everyone.

Directed by Tracie Pang. Starring Edward Choy, Janice Koh, Karen Tan, Adrian Pang and Xander Pang.
‘Sucker punch of a play. Comic and excruciating, fizzes with authenticity. Utterly transfixing.’
