2019-12-23Hi mummies, how do you keep your LO cool without depending on aircon? My LO will get angry when he is feeling hot on his back so we had been letting him sleep in his sarong in the day. At night we will turn the aircon on so he have no problem sleeping in his bed. But as he is 4 months old now, he start moving alot in his sarong. (For some reason, he like to face down in his sarong in tummy time position). I wanted him to drop the habit and sleep in his own bed in the day but do not like the idea of having the aircon on 24hr as it will dry up his skin. 2019-12-25Hello fellow mums, I'm 31 weeks pregnant and been experiencing insomnia for so many weeks already. Baby is super active all the time, and wakes up to move a lot when I lay down to rest. 2019-12-25We have an almost 2-yo and my hubby is the kind that anything also see doctor. Personally unless high fever and not affecting toddler’s appetite/happiness I feel it’s too much meds for my LO? For example for the past 2 nights LO has disrupted our sleep (3-4 times awake and cried at night - while normally LO can sleep through the night) because of runny nose. And hubby wants to bring to PD again tomorrow. LO just saw another A&E PD at KKH for fever 2 weeks back and was precribed Illadin also, to which we had little success in applying. I was waiting for my menses then yesterday morning (night b4 i had intercourse) when i pee there are strains of blood. Then i thought it was my menses. So I wore a pad but i only had spots not whole lot of blood. Then at night nothing till today morning. Before this, I had all the pregnancy symptoms which i thought could also be my menses coming. I don't know why but I just decide to test it this morning & saw this. Can it be double line if i test during menses? or could it be the blood is spotting? Thanks all

Usually in the day will have for few hours then after will be okay but at night it will come back just before bedtime. I've been to GP and only able to prescribe me paracetamol. It's not really effective. I feel like my fever, headache and cough is getting worst despite consuming paracetamol. May I know if there is anything else I can do to help myself?

2019-12-27My baby coming to one month old feeds more than 10x a day as she only drinks about 60ml each time. At certain times she can feed every hour and take in only 30-60ml each feed. She is bottle fed ebm and formula btw. We have tried to give her more milk per session but she just won't finish it as she usually falls asleep after about 60ml or so. Totally clueless how to make her drink more so can decrease the number of feeds. My confinement nanny is leaving tmr and I will be taking care of her on my own. Wondering how I can manage the feeds and still have the time to pump. Feeling so stressed out now. ?

2019-12-27I am 36 weeks along and since a few weeks back the gynae has noted that the umbilical cord is around the baby's neck on ultrasound. I understand this can be common so I just have to make sure there are fetal movements every day. This has caused a bit of anxiety on my part because I will panic a little if I noticed baby's movements are lesser on a particular day. Gynae has mentioned that i can still go for vaginal birth but if there is any distress, she will have to perform emergency csect. Now I am thinking if I should just opt for elective csect straight. Partly due to my fear of vaginal birth (I am a ftm and it just sounds scary) and partly for the safety of the baby and relieve my daily anxiety. Sometimes I do feel guilty for leaning towards csect. Any moms have experienced this before and can give me some advice?

Any mummies experienced bleeding (not alot) accompanied but slight cramps & lasted for 3 days but off & on then when urine there are blood but abit only on & off also? I'm at 4 weeks. Went NUH on 26th & HCG still low based on my test kit too (faint lines), gynae cannot conclude anything as still early. I'm getting my blood test again next week to see if any progress on the HCG level. Meanwhile, I tested again yesterday & the lines darkened & no more bleeding since yesterday. I wonder if any mummies experienced it & it is normal. I even googled abt Ectopic Pregnancy. Hopefully it isn't as I do not have any intense crampings. Thank you mummies.
