2019-12-16Hi mummies, i just want to check if any have experience this kind of itchy spot on their kids before. My son is 3 years old and never had this issue before. We had went 2 different private doc and poly, and now waiting to see dermatology doc in January. That is the earliest slot we had. The doc from poly told me it is allery spot due to his nose (like something like sinus). Told me it is not something to be worried, but now, it has already spread all over his body and it is really itchy. Currently, we only put some cream Suu Balm on him. I wanted to bring him A&E, but husband claimed that no point, they wouldnt direct to dermatology skin doctor. And expect me to go poly again to request earlier slot, i dont think poly can do that right? Sigh.

2019-12-16Hi, I'm trying for baby for close to a year now. Recently before my predicted period, I suddenly have brownish discharges and some bleeding. That was after 2 week from my predicted ovulation and of course I had sex around the ovulation. My usual period would have sore breast but not this time. And the discharges were light and lasted a few days only. Its been a week since the brownish discharges. Anyone experience similar? Is this implantation bleeding? Could I be pregnant?

2019-12-16Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SPD) I am 8 weeks into my 2nd preg. 1st preg (DD born Jan 2017), I started having terrible backache and difficulty walking/moving about 20 weeks into pregnancy. Back then, went to KKH Urgent O&G and was informed early onset of SPD, rare but possible. This time, I started feeling pubic and pelvic pains as early as 7 weeks! Had really bad cramping too, went to KKH Urgent O&G and was informed preg was ok. Ruled out possible ectopic preg. Informed the dr I am experiencing SPD symptoms and she laughed it off saying it is really too early for that! Didn't quite like the dr's reaction, and even pointed out my history (ie: SPD week 20). Any other mummies experiencing something similar?

2019-12-16everyone's telling me to sleep, get a good rest, rest when i can bla bla bla before i deliver bc i wont get to rest much after that.... i do understand their intentions sigh.... but how to sleep if i cant sleep at all????!!!!! it has been weeks ever since i get into last trimester, i barely get any sleep. its more like a short nap then i have to function the whole day. and even when im really tired after long day work, i still cant sleep. baby is so active at night, making me so tired bc her movements are so so dominating (its like shes tryna get my attention and when i dont give her, she will move more vigorously pfft). tried to take warm bath, warm milk, less screen time before sleep, in bed by 10pm latest 12am and so on.... still doesnt work. whenever i dont work, i tend to nap so i stop napping to get at least 6hrs sleep for the next day , still useless lol. so tiring sigh. its 5am now. my hubs tried to stay awake till i sleep but i think he just too tired to wait for me. he did wait for me past 2 days and he cant even handle the sleepiness anymore lol cant blame him at times i just want the baby to come out fast so i can sleep but then, nothing is gonna chnage bc i still have to take care of baby kinda depressing how tiring it is to endure no sleep weeks and months, constant hunger, constant backaches, and everything sigh

2019-12-17Hello mummies! I’m currently 40th weeks with no signs of contraction (I think) Last week my gynae said to wait till 41st weeks to induce. As for now, baby isn’t in distress and growing well. 3.3kg. Will be seeing my gynae again tomorrow. I’m afraid that after induced, my cervix might still be close/not dilate til 10cm for natural. If you are in my position, would you choose to be induce or straight opt for csection? PS: I’ve also tried to induce naturally at home but nothing seems to work.

Also did a swap as i have discharge (creamish) .. results came back and nurse told me to collect medication as i have bacteria infection. Is it harmful to baby? 2019-12-17Hi, my baby girl is reaching 2 months old. She can drink around 120 from bottle and can latch upto 30mins - 1 hour when back from hospital and can last abt 4hrs or more. Coz sometimes we wake her up for milk as per doctor advice. And now she is turning 2 months in 1 week time. But her behavior is changing. She drink abt 50ml after the first month jap at polyclinic. And she feeling more cranky now. She dislike milk bottle or she will drink lesser from milk bottle. Just now in 3hrs time she latch for 5 times, each time around 20-40min. And after that she will sleep awhile then wake up agn then cry for milk. I feeling kinda weird when during this period. Any mummy encounter same issue as mine?

2019-12-18Married for 10+ years, first positive preg kit test. No symptoms for first 7 wks, thought I was damn lucky. Who knows, 1st day 7 week, i started to have brown spotting. Next day, became heavier dark red bleeding. Went to gynae, she did a scan n said sac is too small n asked me do a HCG blood test n put me on duphaston. Going back to do another blood test in 2 days time. Bleeding continues even after 2 tabs. Feeling sad, moody, asking heaven, after so many years, why give n take away? Sigh..... For those who brought their babies safely into this world, do treasure. Not say want, will have. The one thing I am still thankful, a husband who is always by my side, taking care of me, my diet n my chores. Update: Bb is gone with my hcg levels dropped tremendously ?

2019-12-19Hi mommies, baby is 4 weeks old now. PD discharge her when she was 3 days old when jaundice drop from 190 to 120. At 1 week old, we brought her back to PD and he cleared her. Yesterday we brought her to polyclinic for her vaccine and the doctor commented that she look a bit yellow on her face and suggest to do a blood test to check her jaundice. As of yesterday is still 104. The doctor asked if I’m still eating confinement food and I said yes. When I asked if confinement food causes jaundice she said No and baby might be breastmilk jaundice. She suggests to feed her 50-50 bm and fm. So confused now. Any suggestions mommies ? She is going back next Monday for the blood test and so heart pain to see her keep crying when drawing her blood :(

2019-12-21Anyone find it harder to monitor glucose level during 3rd trimester? My 2nd trimester result was fantastic without insulin, just strict food intake & daily pregnancy cardio exercises. But when I'm at 3rd trimester, even with the same food, there could be a spike at times. Which I have no idea why. My result before meal upon waking up range from 5-5.5mmol (my Ogtt was 8.9mmol initially!), then when I had food intake, even with home cooked plain soupy food with wholegrain noodles / vermicelli (no issue for 2nd tri), it shoots up like mad for the 2 hours, but during 3rd hour, it went down from probably an 8mmol to 6.3mmol kind ? This is getting so frustrating!!
