2019-12-09Hi mummies, I’m devasted by the news from my gynae today that my embyro stopped growing. I went for my first checkup on 4 Nov, the sac was there but no embryo yet. That’s probably too early to detect. However, i was a bit sad when was told that there’s strips of blood spotted during the vaginal scan. We went for another check 2 weeks later. The sac grew but no embryo yet. Just last week, ie 2 weeks from my last checkup, I was delighted to know what the embryo has developed but no heartbeat was detected yet. My gynae asked me to followup with another check a week later, and it should be able to hear the heartbeat. Else, it wont be normal. And finally, i went for my checkup today. My gynae said that the embryo stopped growing and no heartbeat was detected still. It’s confirmed a missed miscarriage. He then scheduled me to go for an op tomorrow to clear the uterus. Just wondering if there’s any mummies out there who has similar experience to share? Thank you so much!

2019-12-09Hello Mummies and Mummies-to-be, I'm exactly 12weeks 5days pregnant, I've been severely vomitting everyday, anytime. Body has been rejecting food and water. Should I worry if my baby isn't having enough intake? Should i go to the hospital?
2019-12-09My 1 yo girl still doesn’t sleep through the night and wakes up every 2-3 hours.. it’s manageable in the day with my mil help but we have been particularly sleep deprived esp the weekdays whereby we have to trudge to work. Any thoughts on how to improve the situation? She usu sleeps 1.5 hr in morning, 1.5 hr in afternoon, then goes to bed around 9 pm with the 2-3 hr waking .. we tried lullabies, giving her 210 ml milk b4 bed (instead of usual 150), letting her sleep less in day but to no avail.

The most comfortable position is for me to lay on my back but its said that it's not good for the baby. Any recommendations or ideas on how I can get proper sleep? 2019-12-10I am currently 29 weeks pregnant and might have sciatic nerve issue or some issue with my right leg. I cannot put my full weight on my right leg, if I stand, turn, bend wrongly the pain will shoot down from the butt to my thigh. Anybody has the same problem? Went for a prenatal massage but it's not getting better. It's hard to do anything at this point. Even sleep. Legs go numb and I will have to change positions every 2 to 3hours, leaving me wide awake each time. I am with KKH subsidised, but I intend to take HL. Did ask for HL during my 1st trimester but they were adamant that they don't give out any since I'm not hospitalised. Will they give in and give HL in my 3rd trimester? If not, what if I change to KKH private, is it confirmed I can get HL from a private gynae without being hospitalised? The pain is really horrible. Thanks, mummies ?

Were you instructed to check-in a day before the c-section for any 24 hours monitoring or do you check-in the same morning of the c-section? Apparently the doctor hasn't been clear in the details and seems to be rushing to see patients. So didn't really get to ask her much. I have another appointment in 2 weeks.

2019-12-11after i gave birth to my sweetest baby Girl. im overwhelm n sleep deprived. unlucky me to have husband who like to sleep n chose nt to help me over the night . i have been up n down 24hrs to breastfed, changed diaper and even shower her during my confinement. i dont take a proper meal during my confinement. i was left alone at home with my baby who always cried. no meal been prepared for me .. my mom who suppose to resign n take care of me during my confinement , she also left me alone. one night i broke down infront of my mom n hubby .. i cried out loud and i told them i cant do this anymore. He took off and take over the baby for a day .. and i went to take my beautiful sleep. after few days i was left alone again. I cant eat for few weeks .. only drank milo n soya due to stress. i been diagnosed withh gastritis due to poor intake plus i bf my LO. its almost 3 month now. thank god. its getting better. sadly i need to stop bf my baby as i need to take anti- anxiety meds to stop my stress hormone . MY LO is in excellent condition .. she very healthy n chubby. i shared w my hubby .. and i request nt to have another baby for few yrs. Thank god he understand me. i didnt knw that lack of support from partner n other family member can effects mom's mentality. please take care new mom out there

2019-12-11My nephew left the hospital last week - jaundice level at 230 on his first day. After one week, it goes up to 270... (border line is 300) Our family doctor advices to send him back to hospital. After a long standing day at work while crossing the traffic I suddenly got my pelvic got pulled and I screamed in pain, it was a sharp pain and I couldn't afford to take another step. I stood there, the traffic light was counting down. And I got panicked, lucky an Army guy approached me and he stopped the traffic and helped me to cross the remaining side of the road. 2019-12-13I had my first born baby on July and got my first birth control shot on 22 Aug, it's every 3 months injection. I never go for my second shot... cause I don't like the side effects, it's bad than I thought. Recently, I felt fatigue...like really tired. Started to feel pain here and there. Sometimes dizzy, I don't suspect pregnancy because some people said that after taking the last shot it will take some time to get pregnant again eventhou if you've stops.
