2019-10-14Hi parents.. Should I be worried about my baby weight? Currently she's three months old but she's lighter than the 'average' weight. She weigh about 4.8kg but the PD was saying she's should be heavier. But baby is happy and healthy and she's tall. 65cm for a three month. PD advised to bottle feed and slowly increase her stomach capacity. I will try all the methods, but just wondering is weight one of the determine factors if baby is healthy and growing well??

2019-10-16Hi all, what is the temp I should feed my baby for thawed bm? Currently i use the bottle warmer highest warming option. I will heat the bm temp around 36.5 degree Celsius before feeding. But sometimes I overheat till over 40 degree Celsius as I concurrently attending my crying baby and missed out. In this case, I will place it in cold water to reduce the temp before feeding my baby. I would like to know if I overheat and reduce the temp , will the nutrient of the bm lost? Is 38 degree Celsius suitable for feeding ? Thank you

2019-10-16Everybody says you are not suppose to announce until over 3 months into your pregnancy which is after the "safe period". I tried holding on to it so long but my bump is already showing at 8 weeks, and it's quite obvious when people ask the sacred question.

2019-10-17I always thought i had no issues with my in laws until now that the baby is born, like seriously we only brought the baby back for 2 days & problems are surfacing... My mil wanted to do the confinement for me so my mum didnt help, ended up she doesnt know what to do at all lol, just cook extra fish soup for me that's all, then watch her drama series the whole day, i still have to do washing of my bowls, milk bottles & breast pump parts etc. Then when I said I wanted to do the herbal shower, she said u will get arthritis if u shower everyday during confinement, so cannot. So her concept is I can touch cold water to do the washing the whole day but cannot have a hot shower??!! Then the breastfeeding part and taking care of baby, I have short nipples so baby having a difficult time latching on, mostly need to express and bottle feed, she kept saying on that & saying I'm not feeding baby enough so baby is crying etc, her food all focused on food that makes the mum produce more milk, but the thing I have plenty, I get engorged very easily and I just need time to express it out, my mil just cannot wait, asking if I'm done pumping every few min! We brought baby to the hospital for jaundice and the nurse took baby temperature say got slight fever, she & my fil immediately blamed me & my husband for having the air con on in our room that's why baby catch a cold! Yes we did on the air con, but we set it at freaking 28 degrees so it's comfy for the baby! Then another nurse took a second reading & there weren't any fever at all, she said the first reading was high because my mil overwrapped the baby so it's super warm!!! Swaddle + wrapped another double layed blanket over the baby! Then they just kept quiet & didnt say anything, no apologies no nothing. After a while still come back to say we shouldnt on the air con so cold... OMG I just hope it's my mum doing the confinement for me or if I can go back to my parent's place during this period! Cant wait for our own house to be ready!!!

2019-10-17I'm 22 weeks pregnant and I'm having wind and hard stools. I cant pass out air easily that's causes gastric and bloated hard tummy after small meals. I feel like a balloon. I've been eating lots of vegetables, yourget, yacult, bananas and other fruits still the same. No improvement. I pass motion every 2 day once too. What can I do to pass motion everyday and not to have wind?
2019-10-17Is it just me? I kept my pregnancy a secret from my family, knowing that they won’t take extra care for me anyway and also pantang because I had chemical pregnancy history before, so I don’t feel a need to announce my pregnancy until first trimester is over. Only my in-law side knows because my husband is too excited to share the news with them, I wanted to keep a secret also. Nowadays my husband is busy with work and night course, we also avoided sex as doctor advised not to do because of the history, I feel like this whole pregnancy is a lonely one. I am alone when I vomit, I make my way to get my food when I am hungry, I still have to handle work stress all myself. Not sure if it’s the hormones or I am really all alone. I was an independent person who can handle everything myself without any help. Now I get frustrated with myself and everything easily. Is it normal?

2019-10-17Mama used to serve full cream cow’s milk during Joreen's snack time as her healthier snacking choice! She loves it when it is served together with her favorite snacks eg cereal, fruits, cheese, homemade pancake, homemade muffin.. The milk was served in her straw cup as she does not take milk bottle. She drinks really well! This does not affect Joreen's breastfeeding at all. No nipple confusion! . . Sometimes mama even added full cream cow’s milk into her food! Joreen super loves it! . Sharing my humble recipe on Mini Creamy Bake Spaghetti ❤️ . Method: 1. Cook spaghetti in the boiling water. Drain. 2. Pan fried pre marinated chicken with unsalted butter till golden brown. (Chicken marinated with sesame oil, garlic powder, minced onion, thyme, mix herbs for 10 min) 3. Pan fried salmon & break them into smaller pieces (marinated with lemon.) 4. Saute white mushrooms with butter. Add in chopped brocoli. Cook till slightly soft. 5. In a large bowl, whisk full cream cow’s milk together and 1 egg 6. Add in Bega shredded cheese, @liloikanbilis powder , mix herbs, minced onion & garlic powder, cooked spaghetti, sautéed mixture and combine well. 7. Spray olive oil on the oven proof dish. Pour mixture in. Top with shredded cheese. 8. Preheat oven & bake for 15-20 minutes, 250o. Bake until the sauce is thick and the cheese is melted 9. Sprinkle mix herbs & serve. . . 2019-10-17My baby is 11 months now but since I started work when she was 3 months, she has been sleeping badly. Before that she was able to sleep from 11pm till 7-9am straight. To make matters worse, due to separation anxiety at the initial stage when i started work we co-sleep as she wakes up too frequently to latch. Now she is still co-sleeping and is unable to self-soothe at times it’s like every 1-2hours of 10 times of waking up crying to comfort latch. Tried various methods, bottle feeding prior to sleep (which she has now refused), pacifier, comfort blanket and pillows, daddy to rescue but to no avail, she ends up crying even louder until she gets to latch. Worried she doesnt get enough rest but i am veryyyy sleep deprived as well. In need of advice!

My mil is so far a nice mil, so far I have no complaints about her but maybe it’s because we don’t stay together so I don’t know what may happen if she comes over to help. My mum has work + she’s quite an absent minded person, so I don’t feel safe making her help me out. Just wondering.. If my mil were to come over all the way from Malaysia to Singapore and help me for a month, how much should I give her?
