2019-09-23When I found I'm pregnant. I start using stretch marks cream. 1st trimesters : Palmers cocoa butter massage lotion. 2nd trimesters : Palmers cocoa butter tummy butter. 3rd trimesters : Bio oil. I only use it on my tummy area and backside. The rest of my body I use normal moisturizing lotion. So taadah... I do not have any stretch marks. *side note: it's cheaper to get Palmers cocoa butter products from JB. It is cheaper by half*
2019-09-23Hey mummies, have you ever experienced red spotting during ur 2nd trimester? I'm 20wks now and started to have spotting 1 week ago, went to see my gynae and seems everything is fine. Did a swap test and inserted a pill for fungus. However it started again within the week and changed from the initial brown colour to red clot. 2019-09-23My 10mth old LO loves to be carried most of the time and even then is selective about the people who can carry her (mainly only me and my helper). 2019-09-26I am only 28 weeks plus. Last night I had the weirdest dream yet a happy one because i dreamt my baby boy was born. It started out with him kicking so hard and his tiny feet was visible on my tummy when i looked at the mirror. Gradually, i saw his face through my tummy. The next thing i know i was pushing him out and got to hold him in my arms. I whispered to him "You need to go back in to my tummy because its too early, sayang" And then he cried so hard as if refusing to do so. I gave in and let him be. Woke up from my dream feeling so confused. And i also woke up to the little one kicking actively inside. Anyone experienced the same? Share with me!

2019-09-26Hi lovely community. Ive been having this sharp pain on the left side of my hip. Somewhere in the middle of my left butt area. Every time when I stepped on my left it'll shot a sharp pain that made me go ouch out loud. Occasionally I also have lower back pain. I'm small and petite. My tummy isnt really showing that much and my weigh havent gone up yet so I'm just wondering, should I be concern about this? Seek professional help or what? It's getting worst day by day. As in the sharp pain is increasing in frequency as well as intensity. It can even make me go limping for a while after a sharp pain attack. =(

2019-09-27Hi all, My baby is due in Dec and we are currently looking for a helper. I live in a 3 room flat - one master, 2 common where one is where my mother is staying and another as the study and store room. My flat does not have a dedicated storeroom. Initially my mother is okay to share a room with the helper but recently decided she didn't feel comfortable. And she also works by the way. My intention was to have the help + mom in room 1 and baby room with study and store room in the other room. Now I have to rethink the arrangement. In the 1st year I'd prob have my baby sleep in the master with my husband and I but eventually I'll move her to her own space. Do you have a helper, a relative and a newborn and how did you arrange your space? Just looking for some ideas. I have a couple at the moment but open to suggestions: Option 1 - computers in living room - helper + storeroom 1 room - mother + baby things (clothes, changing area etc) in 1 room - baby in master Option 2 - computers in master (frankly i can only fit 1 desktop) - helper + baby things in 1 room - baby in master (on the other side of the room but cannot fit a cot, just maybe a bedside bassinet - mother + storeroom in 1 room Someone mentioned for me to put baby in living room but I'm not sure about that?

2019-09-27Initially I cant eat much due to heartburn and bloatedness, so i had small meal throughout the day. Now I eat as normal, I get nausea whenever I am hungry. 2 week ago, I started to wake up in midnight 1 to 2 times to have food like hot milo and biscuits. If I drink the packet milo, I still feel nauseous and cant go back to sleep. It really affect my sleep and I get migraine on and off. Sometimes i ate supper before bedtime, but still wake up once to drink milo. I have gained almost 2 kg at my week 8 now. From 46 to 48kg. I am not sure is it bcos I was big eater before pregnant. My tummy look big like many mths when I am full. This is taken after my normal dinner.
