2019-05-28Hi everyone I have an issue with my in law. 4 years ago,when my lo was only a few months old, my husband n i had a huge fight. This is regarding my mother in law. Although it was not really her fault but she was partly to blame. The fight was so bad,that i pick up a knife a wanted to kill myself. This fight happen in front of everyone( my husband family only). After that fight,everyone from his side block my call and whatapp messages. My mil helped to take care of my lo during that time, but due to the incident,she refuse to take care of my lo and my husband didnt bother to help in finding an alternative. Eventually (current situation)everything was ok and back to normal except: 1. My mil still block my number. If she need to talk to me,she will call my house phone or my husband. Same goes for me,i will call my fil or their house phone. 2. My sil wont bother to reply to any msg that i send to her. She will only msg me when necessary. She and my mil will give each other looks when i scold my lo in front of them. She has just given birth to her lo and she dont really like it if i were to carry him or play with him. She did not specifically say it but her body language is very obvious. What would u all do? I want to be closer to my in laws but its hard if im being treated this way. Ive tried to do things in their favour,even my husband sees it. But he will only tell me just let them be.

2019-05-28Hello, any mom with GD taking insulin shots? My readings are 5.5 ~ 6.5 mmol when fasted and 7.5 ~ 8.5 mmol (2 hours after meal). Doctor recommended the reading to be <5.5 when fasted and <6.7 (2hr after meal). Would like to know if your doctor is strict on the readings too? TIA!

2019-05-28I thought I would pen down my feelings here... Everything was going so smoothly for my wife until our second appt with the obgyn dr at 9 weeks pregnancy. We waited for our turn and normally we would do the transvaginal ultrasound for each visit. The nurse prepped my wife and waited for the Dr to start the procedure. After scanning for a while, her facial expression changed. Something was amiss. Normally, you would be seeing something flickering at the centre of the foetus. That would be the foetal heartbeat. It was quiet. Empty. Measuring the foetus, it is only 17.44mm and estimated 8 weeks old. The Dr pressed some dials and changed to Doppler setting showing red/blue colour indicating active blood flow. The Dr suggested that we do another scan for second opinion at the hospital the next day. We went back home and prayed to the Lord for a miracle. Second day came and we proceeded to the hospital for the second scan. We waited for about 1½h as we had no appt. This time, the sonographer did a transabdonimal ultrasound before a transvaginal ultrasound. Seeing the same picture on the monitor devastates me again. This time, the Prof came and take a look to confirm the missing foetal heartbeat. The thought of the baby gone is really heart-wrenching. No parents would want this to happen.

2019-05-29This morning I woke up with a sharp, searing pain through my left leg (I was sleeping on my right side last night though). And when I tried to move it, straighten it, or get up, the pain would shoot all the way up my pelvic area through my inner thigh muscles. I tried standing but that leg had no strength at all. It took me about 15 minutes of very very slow stretching and massaging before I could finally get out of bed and now it’s slowly recovering. Has anyone experienced this in their 2nd trimester before? Does anyone know what it is? (Will consult a doctor also, of course - maybe in the next couple of days. But wondering if this has happened to anyone else before.)

2019-05-29There's a father's day advertisement going on Tv and there was 1 scene which is causing some concern for me. A girl shouts "I HATE YOU!" before slamming the door in her father's face. It may sound like any other advertisement on Tv but here's the thing. Its been on repeat for awhile now and our Tv is switched on in the evenings and at nights. Because cmon,its impossible not to switch on the TV at all. My 17th month old said something which caught me offguard. It was unclear but he said "I hay youuu" playfully and looked at my husband and me while grinning. He loves to repeat words that we say so we know he clearly was following the girl in the advertisement. He obviously doesnt know what he is saying but for the fact that he said it out loud, it just broke my heart.

2019-05-30Hi there. Just wanna check on LO progress at 4 months old. My LO is able to turn but still not able to pull her hand out. Is this normal for 4 months old? My MIL keep comparing her to her grand niece who can turn by herself and hold her own milk bottle. I keep getting blocked ducts on my right boob and always have to take more lecithin and after a few pumping sessions and massage then it will be cleared. After that the dr told me to continue taking folic acid together with my other supplement which is obimin, fish oil and calcium.
