2019-04-29I'm having severe toothache and I'm in week 36, is it safe if I need an extraction?
2019-04-29Currently 38+4. Been having mild cramps and backache for the past hour and half. It’s not easing up, nor is it getting more painful. It’s a constant dull ache in my lower tummy + lower back. Not sure if this is BH or false alarm.. Cant wait for baby’s arrival already. Have any of you felt tired of being pregnant at the last leg?

2019-04-29Hi. My 2 month old son is down with flu and cough for about a week. Is it advisable to proceed for his scheduled vaccination tomorrow at the polyclinic for DTap (D1), IPV (D1), Hib (D1)? I checked through HPB webpage and found that they mentioned under one of the point form "Immunisation is only given when a child is found to be fit". But because this is given during his 3 month mark and if postpone, the rest of the vaccines has to be push back as well.

2019-04-29My son is turning 3 months tomorrow. He hasn't been napping well during his 2 months. He will stay awake from 4am plus till 7pm and perhaps take half an hour to 1 hour (combined) sleep in between. And babies at this age should be having 15 to 17 hours of sleep in total. He's not having much issue with sleeping at night and can sleep about 4 hours to 5 hours with 1 or 2 feeds. Can you advise me on how can I resolve his sleeping style? He hasn't been wearing swaddle daily since he turned 1 month because he dislike it and of his strength. But we introduced it back to him through the arms up swaddle when he turned 2 month old. He did rest better but still having issues with his afternoon naps. Additionally, I am guilty about the fact that there are occasions where there are unintentional loud voices (disagreement with parents) or noices (closing of dustbin lids) which have caused him to feel more frightened then ever. I even observed that he cried in his sleeps sometimes. I really wish I can think before I react that will cause him any psychological hurt but it's too late to amend.

2019-04-29Hi, My 17 month old boy cries really badly when he is trying to poop. It usually takes quite awhile for him to release everything. There is even a little blood in his diaper most likely as he had to push out a hard and large stool. He eats fruits every alternate days and he drinks plain water too. He eats normally and is still on formula milk. I am so stressed everytime he is about to poop because he will really cry the house down. He goes back to his cheerful self after he is done pooping. Can any of you suggest ways I can help him get out of this phase please?

2019-04-29Hello mummies. Would like to ask if I'm preparing to direct latch & pump to build up milk... Should I get a new/second hand freezer? Kind of stuck between getting one and not getting one. In a way cos what if you buy and you ended up not having milk... Or not enough milk etc and end up wasting money on the fridgr or u don't get and u have alot of milk and u need a place to store. What would you do? I can't store at my home fridge as there's a lot of seafood and raw meats in freezer and the fridge is pretty full as well. I also read that it's not good to store breast milk with seafood etc as it will contaminate it. Need advice. Currently 38+2 awaiting my little ones arrival. :>

Isit even normal that my son had three falls at the centre within two months? Who am i to blame? The negligence of the teachers or is it that my son was exploring too much that he tends to knock himself?
2019-04-29My toddler is getting naughtier as he gets older. He is only 15 months old but the tantrums and mischief that he is up to,is driving me up the wall. I resort to hitting the bottom of his feet after repeated warnings on not to misbehave. My anger got the better of me and i hit him 6 times on his feet alternately because he kept kicking and screaming from not getting what he wants. My heart instantaneously ached. I feel guilty but at the same time I really dont want my son to grow up thinking he can kick up a fuss and he will get his way. I hate myself every time after hitting or scolding him. My heart breaks whenever I have to discipline him. Do any of you feel this way too?

2019-04-30Hai all, its been an 8 months of my pregnancy of carrying my first child. Everything was goes well till now, but For past 1 week I’m experience a perineum pain.. its been mild to moderate. 2019-05-01Hi mummies im EP and feeding my lo EBM since i got out of hospital. my lo is 20days old so that's how long I've EP. im pumping every 2hrs n I've some advice to drag the hours so i don't have to pump as often. but the issue is once i hit the 3hr onward mark my breast still be engorged.. so how do i get to pump lesser or stretch the hours? does my yield play a part? I'm getting about 150 - 220ml both side in total, usually more when engorged. what do i do

Since we found out about our pregnancy, we stopped altogether cause he’s afraid to hurt the baby, which I have reassured that it won’t happen. I even tried initiating sex but he would brush me aside. I guess what upsets me is that he watches porn, masturbates behind my back and yet wont even cuddle me like before. Must be my emotions but I feel like with this pregnancy, with the changes my body is going through. Not quite sure if he’ll even find me attractive post pregnancy. Even I don’t feel attractive myself. I don’t know if I’m the only soul who feels this lousy.. :(

2019-05-01Bb is on scheduled feeding. Recently we are trying to increase the amount of milk per feed and to increase the duration between the feed. However we realize our bb doesn’t cry for milk. It can be up to 4-5hrs. And if we follow by her cues of hunger, she will only drink 300ml per day (she’s 4 mths) Does scheduled feeding made my LO forgotten to cry when hungry?

2019-05-02Ever since I know about my pregnancy as early as 5 weeks, major trauma event and decision happens along the way till today at 33 weeks. As much as I know being stressed and depressed will affect the growth and health of the baby. But things and event are out of control. Families are negative on my decision to marry my current husband who had cheated on me and giving me std and risk of hiv knowing that I'm pregnant at 8 weeks. The thought of abortion was pretty high and some close friends strongly encouraged me to. I struggle on making the decision till the abortion day I decided to tell the doctor that I will not proceed with the abortion. I choose to forgive and move on together with my current husband. Getting Married and making things simple as much as we can, but parents demand photoshoot, simple dinner and 30k dowry. This journey have more down than ever in my life and dramatic events kept on coming. I'm very worried that the impact of all the events affecting my baby and I only manage to get help at 28 week in nuh. As much as I need to be happy, calm and stress free but there is so much I can do. It comes to a point I'm really depressed and even having suicidal thoughts.

2019-05-02Hi all. I'm in the early stage of my pregnancy. I'm not too sure how for along I am because according to my LMP, I'm supposed to be 10 weeks. I've gone in for a scan because I've been having quite frequent spotting and one time, it was with severe camps. The gynae said he couldn't see anything but the pregnancy sac in the womb with no signs of a fetus yet. So he said I'm probably about 4-6 weeks and the spotting could be a sign of threatened miscarriage. I work as a cabin crew and I'm wondering how far along should I continue to work until I declare to my company that I'm pregnant? Any advice please?

I'm 28 weeks + and suddenly got hives 2 days ago. at first I thought it was a new food allergy but it has been 2 days and still not better! it's driving me insane! any tips/advice? I have been to the doctors and given steroid cream and anti-histamines but neither is working. my hives might appear to subside only to come back when I'm sleeping.

2019-05-03My period is supposed to come on 29 May. But till now no signs. However, there's some light pink bleeding since 27 May. It comes and go. And the bleeding got heavier but not more than a panty liner. Bleeding stopped on 1 May. I don't think that is my period as the flow is too little. I tested this morning but negative. Just wondering if I had my period or is it implantation bleeding?

2019-05-03Hi, I’m using a Farfalla Freezer to store the expressed milk. However the fridge inside gets frozen and according to the staff who delivered the fridge, he told me to empty the fridge content and open the fridge door to let the ice melt and defrost. I was wondering where I can keep the expressed milk during this period of defrosting. Any suggestions?

2019-05-03When women go through pregnancy, in some cases like mine, my wife massively decreases the need for sex, while I’ve extremely high sex drive. How do the husbands relieve the sex need and not looking for it outside of marriage while still supporting the wife’s pregnancy? I understand the whole responsibility part but sex is just a physical need to be met (in my case). I know there are ways to distract from having sex like exercising etc, but I’m sure the husbands just can’t go sexless for a year or so? Any advice or experiences to share? Would greatly appreciate!
