2019-04-22I used to think that both men & women should be equal partners in the parenthood journey. Aside from not being able to give birth and breastfeed there should be nothing men can’t do as well right? Wrong! From conversations with friends and now my personal experience, I realized that men have it easier being a parent. While women go through the body changes & pain of getting pregnant, giving birth, breastfeeding & trying to get back in shape & navigating challenges of being a new parent, men still want to have their own “me” time after becoming a parent and usually does only the playtimes with LO while washing their hands off other duties I.e: nappy changes, dunno what goes on in a diaper bag, dunno what LO needs at different stages, leave it to the wives to manage the maid etc. The only difference is the mothers tend to “suck it up” and find out how to navigate being a new parent while men just conveniently take it for granted that their wives will take care of such issues. In this day & age where both parents are working why do mothers get to do the lion share of parenthood? Is it me or do you feel the same as well?

2019-04-23any mummies quitted their job at the start of their pregnancy and find it hard to join back the workforce? My contract role ended just before finding out my pregnancy. (I am moving to another end of Singapore hence taking contract roles that is close to my old home). After movement, I am on a lookout for a perm role that is close to my new home but my husband refused to let me work after finding out my pregnancy. This is my 1st pregnancy and I do not have a good health to begin with. Will it be diffcult for me to land a job after my delivery and confinement after being out of job for 1 year?

2019-04-23Hi mummies I'm a ftm at 22.. and I'm exclusively pumping bc i couldnt get the hang of latching my LO on and i was getting frustrated so i opted for bottle feeding n pumping. I'm getting very tired from the pumping!! and because of being so tired i do miss my pumping time and end up with engorgement... which rly hurts!!!!! and now i find myself having to pump every 1.5h - 2h which leaves me with little to no sleep/rest... any advice from mummies? also any idea how to slow down my milk production?? and stop engorgement??

2019-04-23I have had two pregnancies. After the first, ppl all told me I would slim down soon and there’s no need for massage or what. But it’s not really true. I became fatter even though I didn’t gain too much weight. After my second pregnancy, I decided to go for massage which many commented it’s effective in reducing water retention and hence the size. However, it is not true again. I’m now 2 months pp and I become much fatter after this pregnancy. Anyone has any suggestions how to slim down back to pre pregnancy size? I used to be quite skinny before pregnancy, but not anymore. And I felt my pelvic bones had become broader. Help!!!

I feel like after I got pregnant my husband don't feel sexually attracted to me or in a romantic sexual way. he used to be so romantic and always complimenting me but now he don't anymore especially when I'm fully his and pregnant. We don't make out anymore like how we used to and I am very sad and disappointed. cause before we got married he was all out and so lovey dovey to me but now he is not. I've tried to wear nice clothes for him and do things for him but he doesn't seem to notice it. I am just sad and disappointed and scared. Cause I do know that he look at other ladies out there when I am out with him and also he notices that guys out there looked at me and he will get jealous and threatened them, so idk what's going on here.. I just missed that moments and I think he just bored of me. Ive tried to talk things out and work things out but its not working. Its always a promised but then promises will always be broken. 2019-04-24Hi! First time mummy to be here. Originally from Singapore but I'm now residing in Melbourne. According to the app, I'm 7 weeks based on last menstrual date. Hmm thing is, here things are done differently. My GP appointment is only this Sunday due to the holidays although I did a quick blood test to confirm pregnancy about two weeks ago. Apparently first ultrasound here is only at 14 -18 weeks. Acks! So somehow I'm feeling anxious because I really want to know how I'm doing on the inside. Generally I feel fine, no morning sickness, just hunger pangs, sleepy (but it could be because it's colder here) and sore breasts. Some backache and stitch-like feelings too. I guess I'm just in need of some assurance that I'm doing okay and that I shouldn't let the fact that the first ultrasound is so far off affect me. I am however envious of everyone who got to see your little peanut so early on. In any case, congratulations mummies!

2019-04-24I'm currently 7 months pregnant with my second and still co-sleep with my 3 YO. however, no matter how I explain to the toddler to not kick/push/hit my stomach she still does it anyways. it's not out of malice but more like she wants to be with me and we do play rough, but that was before my tummy got this big. Is baby safe inside despite the kicks and pushes from her sister? and also I have to keep getting up from lying position at night to satisfy my older one (eg, when she shouts for a diaper change or even a snack) and I definitely feel a strain on my belly and back. any tips to survive this for 3 more months?

2019-04-25Went for my 6 week scan and no foetus or heartbeat was detected. Gynae said it is likely a blighted ovum - where the embryo stopped developing, and I should expect bleeding to come. Would like to seek advice from those with similar experience: 1. when did your bleeding start and how long did it last? any unbearable pain? 2. how long after that did you feel back to normal? 3. when is it ok to start exercising?

2019-04-25Hi, could anyone contact me. cuz i would like to put my rebellious little brother who is only 15 onto the world's strictest parents show,cuz hid not giving any form of respect to this family, and he apparently treats this house like a bloody hotel for him to come and goes as he wishes. He goes to school just to sleep,and he smokes and mixed around with bad companies. He scolded vulgarities towards my mother,and he insist us on giving him money without telling us why are we giving him the money for and he threathen to beat us. He keeps my mother awake all night knowing that she have work the next day,and he doesnt comes home to tell time that he gave us. My mother is getting really exhausted from scolding him repeatedly... and its heartbreaking to see my mother going through all this bullshit just a that boy... I want my mother to get more rest than what she is getting now.Please to whoever is filming this show,contact me... we are in desperate need of help to cure this little boy.

2019-04-26have you lost a pet before and cried so much? or am i the only crazy one? before my pet went missing, he was so much manja towards me. not he is never close to me. but extra manja with for the last few days maybe because he can sense im pregnant. yesterday, i had my ultrsound and heard my baby's heartbeat. i felt it was the happiest day of life. but today was a total contrast of yesterday. ive been crying so much because i cant stand how sad it is. my husband kept saying to stop crying and stressing because of the baby inside me. but he doesnt understand my grief does he?

I was not delayed yet. But i had an instinct to try a pregnancy test. Then tadaaah! It was positive! My pregnancy so far is going smooth. No morning sickness nor cravings at all.. Always hungry though ?
