2019-04-15Hi all, my baby is 3 months old (2 months old corrected since she was 4 weeks premature). Right now I feel like she's behind on many milestones even for a 2 month old. She can hardly lift her head at all during tummy time, doesn't notice her hands or do anything with her hands, doesn't really focus on me when I'm talking to her (sometimes she does but usually doesn't) and very rarely smiles. Is that a problem? What can I do to help her catch up? Should she see a doctor?

2019-04-15My baby girl turned 5mths old and she’s growing very attached to our helper who has been taking care of her for 3mths now. Our girl will always look out for her and cry uncontrollably when we carry her until our helper takes over, this is especially so when she’s sleepy and wants her to carry her to sleep - then her cries stops magically. I’ve just returned to work and I’m extremely upset & hurt by this. What can we do? Our helper is doing a great job but at the same time I feel hurt and upset that my baby treats me like a stranger and we don’t want to be overly reliant on our helper as well - Upset 1st time mother :(

2019-04-15Hi all. My last growth scan was at week 28 then the scanning show my boy is lying across my tummy. During detail scan he also lying across my tummy. Anyone facing this also. 2019-04-16i am currently so worried for the future because i am unemployed and pregnant. my husband is the only one working. even so, what he earns is just enought for both us. what more when the baby arrives. i found out i was pregnant the day i went for job interview. what are the odds, eh? 2 days after the interview i was offered the job. however i decided to tell the HR i was pregnant and was told the company do not hire pregnant women. previously, i had miscarriage. resigned and i took awhile to go back to work. now that i am ready, God grant me another baby. i just need to rant. if any mummies out there who has similar experience pls share. i need assurance that everything is going to turn out okay. my husband doesnt complain that im not working. he even assures me everyday that its okay and all he wants is for me and the baby to be healthy. but i feel so guilty for putting all the burden onto my husband :(

2019-04-16I was discovered by my doc that I have GBS infection and he ask me to take antibiotics for 5days. the problem is this sounds like a v serious infection that will pass on to new born. may I know does anyone have it and what should I do? 2019-04-17Hi all, my maternity leave at the current company is ending in 2 weeks. I just got a new job offer and would like to change job. Has anyone been in the same situation? Would it be possible if I don't come back to the current work or do I still have to serve 1 full month notice period after coming back? I just feel like I already handed over my work prior to the maternity leave and they're used to not having me there already, then I just come back for a short while to catch up and then leave again. Feels a bit weird. If possible I'd just like to take annual leave until my next job starts so I get a bit more time with the little one. Would it be allowed? And do you think it's irresponsible to do so?

2019-04-17I have a pair of 16 mo twins who need a lot of attention, and a newborn baby. Moving out from in law house to a 4 room flat soon. I do not like to have strangers (helper) at home. And I do not trust them in taking care of my kids. So I sent my twins to ifc and taking care of my newborn myself. Helper helps in the morning before twins go to school. And after kids come home. Ifc is not within walking distance. Do u tink it’s possible to do without a helper? Anyone with similar situations can share your experience? TIA!
2019-04-17I got married to my husband unwillingly cos I got pregnant the plan was to wait for another year when i am totally ready to settle down with him but things happen. And when I told him I was pregnant he doesn't seem to be happy about it. 2019-04-18Diagnosed w GD at around 25 weeks gestation. Readings have been in controlled and well throughout, until I hit 36 weeks-ish & my readings after meal goes out of whack. I’m still eating the same stuffs as I did when maintaining my sugar levels previously. Not sure why it’s becoming so out of whack during my last homestretch. Any of you face the same too? When you have dreams to make a reality, you've to get out on your own way and do what it takes to achieve them! A lot of pple ask how I make time to read, plan my day, clean, cook, take care of my babies, etc. — But to me it's not making the time! It's not a chore, it's what I do. It's MY JOB. I wake up an hour before my family or stay up an hour late to do the few things it takes to keep my business going— because there honestly isn't much to social media side. ? Most days, the house is a wreck. My to do list is endless. Yet, I still manage to check in with my team and make a post on social media. I've decided : This year will be bettering my life, — becoming a better mother and wife. Crushing goals and dreams and running with babes that wants the same! 2019-04-19I found out I was pregnant ystd and have seen my gynae. She did a Transvaginal ultrasound but did not find a clear gestational sac. We can only see something very small and unclear. She said she's not convinced that's the g.s and told me to get a blood test. The result will only be out on Monday. She said the hgg level will determine how many weeks I am. I've been googling since ystd and saw lots of post which were similar case to mine are related to ectopic pregnancy. I'm so worried now. Anyone have similar experience? Its torturing to go thru this long wkend to wait for the result. :(

2019-04-20Hi I'm a new mum, just tested positive last night. May I know what to look out for in terms of food intake and also when to go for my first check up? Also, I realised I have been breaking out on my face these few days, is it true when they say that when you breakout your baby is a boy cos the hormones clash? TIA
2019-04-20I was recommended by a friend to start monitoring my basal body temperature 2 months ago. During February I didn't measure and just have more regular sex during my ovulation window. Didn't conceive successfully. In March I went to get myself a basal thermometer and started tracking every morning when I wake up. When I see a slight spike we will try and even on days when it is 'low chance of getting pregnant' as suggested by an App. True enough, tested positive last night. Found it quite useful so decided to share. ?
2019-04-20Mommies.... How do you survive the month with no direct fan blowing towards you during confinement? We have no aircon at home & I am already feeling the crazy heat even before popping.. Plus, my mom insist on wearing long pants during confinement. ?

2019-04-20I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant and vomiting is getting worse each week. I can barely eat and if i do drink half a glass of juice for brunch, it will all come out instantly. I'm having trouble to take folic acid in the morning because of this and I'm clueless as to what else would work for me at this stage. I feel like my tummy is shouting for food but whatever goes into my mouth comes out within 5 minutes. Anyone can help? ??

Now I'm having dull aches at that area and weird smell that does not smell like the musky mensual at all? it aches when i sit n walk n i kind of can smell it when I'm sitting. should i see a doctor?? or is the aching normal

2019-04-20I’ve taken medication to stop my breastmilk production 1 week ago. Though my breasts are not badly engorged anymore they are still filling up slowly and I get lumpy swollen breasts after 4 days which then needs to be hand expressed or pumped for short 2-3mins to alleviate the discomfort. I’ve also taken sage and ordered tea to stop milk production. How long does it take for my production to dry completely??!
