- 2019-04-04Hi all, ramadhan is coming!
Every year, my family and i will collect (good condition) soft toys and wash ,sanitize , dry and if we have enough savings we will pack individually in a transparent gift bag. Basically we do all the hard work !
Every year again, we would have a small bazaar at tamp to sell our food and me and my sis in law will distribute the toys to kids. Any kids, baby to toddlers and teenagers , regardless of rich or poor, race or religion.
Dont get us wrong, it is not to promote our stall nor to misuse your kindness.
We distribute to any walking, passerby and even buyers .
Last 2 years, we received 4 big china bags of mickey and minnie mostly limited editions and last year, we received big carton of superheros lego sets from diff donars to our shop and home! And we have blessed more than 50 burgers for the legit low income families/kids last year and a pay it forward system . Was super exciting for me as an adult, guess how the kids felt!
So straight to the point, if u are planning to give away or discard your soft toys, please hit me up!
Soft toys have to be :
- good condition (means no tearing and no big unremovable stain)
- everything is intack (eyes, nose, ears, etc)
- only soft toys (but other toys could consider) as soft toys can be washed using washing machine and sanitize easily
- diff size and shapes
- location of drop off : tampines
If u could send over to tamp, it would be awesome. As im currently pregnant and long distance and heavy lifting isnt gonna work for me ? As currently im on bedrest due to preg complications.
Hit me up!
- 2019-04-04What do you like to do with your children during school holidays?
- 2019-04-04My LO is currently 2 months old and I am going back to work in 1 month time. I intended to enrol to IFC since last year and I am on their waiting list. And I do consider looking for nanny nearby my estate.
After much consideration and advice from family member, they are discouraging me to send LO off to either nanny or IFC. They were saying LO is too small and suggested that I quit my job and be a sahm. Just want to hear out from sahm, did you regret for the decision made for sacrificing your own job and chose to look after your child. I am stuck in between, although I wish to spend more time with LO and personally take care of him, but I am worried that I might regret.

- 2019-04-05My hubby often says he is tired from work whenever I try to initiate sex. Through the 8 years that we have been married, we probably have sex only about 4 to 5 times throughout a year, and usually quick sex that ends with his ejaculation. I used to think that my post-partum flabby body after our 2nd child had become so unattractive and turned him off. I even wondered if he was having an affair outside. I have tried ways to turn my hubby on, after losing some weight, putting on sexy lingerie, even planning a 'sexcation' away from the kids... but we still don't make love much. I strongly believe a healthy sex life is also part of a happy and healthy marriage.
We have had our heartfelt talks with each other, and i told him how lonely i have been feeling. My hubby's low libido is most likely attributed to the many medications he is taking for high blood pressure, high cholestrol and the worse one is from antidepressants.
My hubby is not the sentimental sort, and we don't have much physical intimacy other than some quick hugs or pecks on the lips. He is a good man and a good father who provides for the family. As a stay-home mum I am kept very busy but this is an issue that is always weighing on my mind. I don't have close friends and this is not something i can talk to my family about, without them judging my husband. I do not have intentions to leave my husband but i feel really sad, especially if the low libido was due to medication, and there's nothing that my hubby can do about it.

- 2019-04-06Am currently 11w2d...was looking thru some old pics about 2 years ago and it clearly reminded me of my loss almost 2 years back. Thinking so much about the baby we lost back then though it was only for a short short period.
