2017-02-20Is it okie for my 16 months old to eat ice cream ? I tried to tell my mil that I do not want to expose my LO to sugar at such early stage but she keeps saying if I don't let them try everything , they will become fussy eater . I mean I'm okie to let them taste different kinds of food but I jus don't want to expose them to sugar and salt so early . There are many different food they can taste... I mean it's not like ice cream is a highly nutritious food that I'm withholding my child .. am I wrong ??????

2017-02-20Hi all! Just a random rant. My husband hardly give me gifts, bring me to restaurant. To him, as long as he can be full, it does not matter if its cheap or expensive food. On my birthday, I was given a choice of either having flowers, a cake or a gift. I can only choose one of it. Now he said that he can’t stay any longer on his job, asked me not to spend his money. In fact, I hardly spend his money. I spend mostly using my own money. We argue mostly on money and he said I was not supportive to his decision. He said he got stress whenever I asked for a restaurant meal on valentine day or my birthday and a gift. I was just feeling myself so pathetic that not even my husband is appreciate what I did for him and still being so calculative to me. It made me felt that marrying him is a mistake.

2017-02-20LO is turning one soon. He is having 3 meals and only drinks abt 300-400ml BM a day. I am worried he is taking too little milk. Can you share how muck milk your LO is drinking and how many times a day? I understand that after one, nutrition comes mainly from solids, so does that mean if I give 3 meals a day then there's no need for milk?

2017-02-20My 2.5mth old boy sleeps for at least 4-5hrs after his evening feed which is usually between 6-7pm. As my maternity leave is ending soon, i am afraid that i wont get to see my boy from mon to fri since i leave the house at 7am (he may or may not be awake) and i sleep early at 10pm. He is on full FM and feeds every 3 hrs. Any solution to this?

2017-02-22Hi dear mumies, My baby is 18 days old She drinks about 120 ml per time Before i feed her about 80 ml per time But sometimes still hungry that why my husband told to feed her 120 ml per time. Each time i just can pump max about 80 ml and now i tried to pump more so i feel it turns less milk, can you guys suggest me what i should eat to have more milk? and should i just feed her 80 ml?
2017-02-22What will u do or react when mum/mil farts in front of ur child(1yo)? So its like both standing up facing each other or LO trying to hug them in between the thighs and ur mum/mil jus literally fart it out in front of them, though it is nt butt facing. ?
2017-02-22My lo is 4 months plus. This few days he suddenly become very fuzzy. Unable to sleep well will cry out of sudden while sleeping, feeling hungry but only want to chew his hands or stuff. Give him a bottle of milk he will cry and I have to keep on persistently giving it to him until he drink and fall asleep. He seem hungry why he is not drinking milk? He want to be carry most of the time and he is having a hard time falling asleep too. I wonder what is happening to him. Temperature everything is normal. Poop and urine is normal too. He is drinking 90 to 120ml every 2 hrs or 3 hrs.

2017-02-22I have stopped pumping at 15 mths. It wasn't planned, LO got too active, i end up having no time to pump (EP mum). I can't help but to feel guilty..... should i start trying to pump every 2hrs again? Though it feels almost impossible as im the main caretaker and i dont have help

2017-02-23Roarrr!!! LO is 16mo. This morning, LO was whining for this and that and mum sternly said no to him. LO kept quiet seeking for help from grandpa, however grandpa feign ignorance. Mum, Dad and I agreed that we shouldnt give in to LO. Then LO turned to me to whine for things again, i said no firmly and he cried. Yet my mum went over to pass LO the things and sayang him. "Aiyo mummy scold u ar, kk grandma sayang, don cry" Wtf leh! So angry with mum's double standards!!!

2017-02-23I am stress... my husband and my family don't get along. We are staying in my house with my parents. My mother likes to instruct my husband to do things her way. My husband used to living alone from young so he cannot get used to someone nagging. He himself have his own way of doing stuffs. My father likes to borrow his car and nv pump fuel when is low. Or when the car spoil he will just ask my husband is it your car nv service or this or that but nv help in repairand only questions him. The last time was asking me and my husband to buys stuffs for praying and we wake up late, my father was piss, he ignore us and giving us black face when we call him. After 2 times of ignore when being call, my husband stop calling him and just ignore back. They treat each other like stranger and it's like not happy with each other. My sister son who is 15 love to be with my husband and always go around him asking this and that. Last sat, our LO was sleeping, my sister son came in and talk to my husband kept on asking what game he play? Why this why that.. my husband ask him to lower his voice baby is waking up, but my sister son kept on going and suddenly the baby cried out very loud and it trigger my husband he scold my sister son and bang the room door. After that my sister son did not talk to him anymore. So is my sister, they even delete his fb from friend list. I am really stress and I understand why my husband reacted this way. But another side they are still my family. I think my husband is really piss off with them.

In the messages, hubby imply that marriage is boring as I always don't feel like doin sex and saying things like he should marry to the god- Sister who is also married but having problems now. In my house, she said my 3yo pee is smelly (maybe because of his diaper) and teased him being 3yo and still wearing diaper and commented my 11mo a spoilt kid.
