2017-09-25For those with kids when trying for second baby, how many times before ovulation have you tried doing the deed and got pregnant? I have been trying for 5th month this time, past few months record only 2-4 times before ovulation. 2017-09-26Mummies who are SAHM, would you mind sharing how much is your household income like? I've been longing to be SAHM. My hubby is working as a freelance tutor with take home salary of around $4k. However, we have some liabilities like loans, etc. Both of us know that it's not enough to survive on one person income especially when we still have a 6 months old baby. So.. I can stop thinking about being SAHM not for the time being. Just curious.. How do the rest of the SAHM manage with single income?

2017-09-26JTR: If you was me how do you feel ? Be it a girlfriend or boyfriend or husband or wife... if you brought a gift for your partner for example clothes or shoes or whatsoever gift .. Do you share the gift wwith your brother or sister ? I mean a gift from loved one and they dont know the important of gift from partner and yet partner say i m so petty :( I feel so upset that my partner didnt cherish the thoughts and share. 2017-09-26Hi mummies, May I know if you think it make any sense to change a child's childcare to one with: 1)better location 2)availability of enrichment prog 3)worse staff to child ratio My concern is tt the child has already adapted well, but I also find the current sch lacking in some area like the lack of parental involvement(no communication booklet), no enrichment options, terrible choices of excursions and insufficient outdoor time. Other than that the current cc is quite responsive and responsible. Thank you. :}
2017-09-27Anyone has piles? I have them since young and quite alot. Didn't have the courage to remove it cus it wasn't giving me any inconvenience except post delivery tts all. Recently when I poo, it bleeds. And just this morning I poo and the entire toilet is blood. My piles is external though. And after cleaning and wiping, there wasn't any stain on the toilet paper and it wasn't very painful too. Unlike the usual case, if I'm constipated it gets very painful and when I clean it the toilet paper will be stained with blood. So I'm quite confused here. Anyone can advise? I took a photo but not sure if it will gross anyone out. So I didn't upload it.
2017-09-27I'm currently 11th week pregnant, today I accidentally ate one small piece of alcoholic snow skin mooncake and few days ago I accidentally ate a few pieces of alcoholic chocolate I found out it is alcoholic after i swallow OMG... Will that affect my baby?

2017-09-28My lo is 18 mo now and she attends the childcare..teacher said she's not a picky eater and able to eat on her own and eats fairly fast and eat a lot. However it is not the case at home when I'm feeding her. She is obviously hungry as she's so anxious about the food and can't wait to get on the high chair. However when my spoon goes near her mouth she starts to turn away and resist. I have to dab abit of the food on her lips for her to taste before she finally accepts and continue eating. Sometimes she eats a few mouth and resist again...Sometimes she gags too. Anyone have similar experience? I can take up to an hour to feed her at home...in sch she also takes rice n meat but at home she will chew slowly and refuse to swallow and end up gagging...really duno what's wrong.
2017-09-28Need to ventilate all out. Need a listening ear.. I'm a SAHM starting jan this year looking after my two kids .. 4 & 2 years old . My Husband really hurt my heart when he said that I'm having a good life being a SAHM , whole day doing nothing .. while he slog outside n bring income for family . Unless u have been a full time SAHM , u won't understand how challenging it can be being a SAHM . I feel sad n hurt. Being a SAHM is not an easy task but I'm happy to take up this challenge especially seeing my children grow n reach different milestones . But my feeling is hurt over n over again when my hubby says that . Because I'm a SAHM, he doesn't really wanna help me with taking care of children. He sees me like a SAHM n so naturally all these are under my scope of work :( I'm so sad . Am I being too sensitive ?

2017-09-29Hi wanna seek some opinions on breastfeeding. Currently my girl is 18 months and she has been exclusively drinking only bm so far. Recently she suddenly decide that she doesn't want todrink expressed bm anymore when I'm at work but she still is eager when I latch her. I tried to use the ebm to make chocolate milk w honey for her but she still doesn't want. So no choice give her fresh cow milk which she takes very well. Should I stop pumping at work since she doesn't take ebm anymore? I am apprehensive of my milk supply dropping especially as I still want to have enuf supply during the weekend to latch her. But I see the packets n bottles of ebm lying there I feel very stressed because I will feel that it's very wasted to just dump. Opinions on whether should I stop pumping altogether?

2017-09-29curious... How long did you wait to leave your baby overnight? Am I overreacting? MY daughter is almost 3 and has never done an overnight. The grandparents mentioned they would love to take her overnight I shut it down pretty quickly, I'm just not ready ? The thought of her not sleeping in her room, in her bed just disturbs me. They think I'm being to overprotective
2017-09-29Sorry Mummies. Just to rant.. I really hate it if anyone kisses LO. My husband and I try so much to avoid kissing as we don't wanna spread germs to LO. My husband's family members just love to kiss LO on the cheeks. It's really annoying. I wish I could tell them to refrain from doing so, but worried that they might be offended. Am I being too particular?

2017-09-30If hubby allows u to do ONE small procedure(plastic surgery), would u do it? Which part of yourself would u do and why? I have a deep inner double eyelid, has always been putting tape but still doesn't get the nice double eyelid look, even make up artist have big issues helping me with eye makeups. Hubby allows to do plastic surgery on double eyelid, just contemplating about it. Ps: Personally im against liposuction and breast implants so i wont do it.

I know that all ur maternity benefits is ur entitlement till the very last day of work (I.e u can use it during notice period but not to shorten ur notice period).
