2017-08-07The principal of my child's child care centre asked whether do I want to withdraw my child when I raised issues to her such as the need to clean my child with wet wipes when changing wet diaper, my child said school Aunty hit her during shower and take not to give her mattress cover for nap as she got bitten during 2 occasions when the Teachers did not give her mattress cover. So dear mommies & daddies, if you were in my situation, would you withdraw your child? Also, the principal overlooked to submit the Additional Subsidy application until I raised it up to ECDA. And it's now the 2nd month and the school fee will be deducted through GIRO from CDA Account but i have not been informed how much is the fee (after Basic & Additional Subsidy) to be deducted. When I checked with the principal, she merely replied the fee will be deducted through GIRO. She only offered to check for me when I told her I may need to top up the account so I have to know how much is the fee to be deducted.

2017-08-08How do you all heat up chilled breast milk? Currently, I'm using warm water to slowly heat it up, but my milk still turns sour. Because of this, my LO refuses to drink the milk. I've also tried bottle warmers to warm up the milk, but the milk still turns sour. Please help!

2017-08-09Hi all, appreciate some advice... Baby is 12 weeks old now. I'm worried about his weight gain. He was a small baby at birth (2.5kg) and during his visit to the GP on his first month, he was under the 25th percentile (4kg). However, since then, we've been weighing baby through normal weighing scale and subtract our weight to see baby's weight and noticed that he is barely 5kg now... I have been breastfeeding him exclusively since 2 months old and have been latching him frequently, every hourly. Could it be that I do not produce enough milk for him? Baby has been rejecting bottles with formula milk but has been producing at least 5 wet diapers a day. I'm worried that baby is not gaining enough weight. He doesn't sleep well too. What should I do?
2017-08-09Dear parent town, im feeling very bad about this & need a channel to get it off my chest. Terrible mumny here... Forgot what was it about, my hub called to me from house and i turn my back on my LO for a few seconds. Remembering her behind me, i call to her to follow mummy, saw her coming and i went back towards the house asking my hub to come out & look after her. Who knows how long was that 1 minute lapse and i heard my hub shouting to me where is the child!? I dash out of the house and doesnt see her. Next reaction i turn to the lift and saw my 18months old LO inside!!!!???? Then omg the lift went down!!! my hub went after her via stairs and thankfully he got her 1 floor down. But i was sooooo freaked out when the lift came up after that 1 floor without her. I thought i lost my child forever that spilt second. Never ever lose sight of LO for even 1second ????? Im still feeling terribly guilty

Now my husband alot of things he doesnt agree to it. I will be seeing my lawyer again next week to revised n prepare again. This mother fucker thinks its easy. I have been paying alot if $. I thank god i hv savings. My divource only takes place next year. My marriage only 2 years. My husband whom is having affair with his mistress. I have come to conclusion not to be with him whom has physically abuse me. Dilema situations everyday scolding me vad words n so on. He doesnt give a damm about my lo. I am strong because i have family support. Sick with such man on this earth.

2017-08-10My lo is turning 6months in a few days, and she use to be able to sleep thru waking up only once for a feed. Recently, she has been waking up every 1-2hours to cry(sometimes inconsolable), which becomes very disruptive now, does anyone has similar experience & can share why? Could it be coz of milk change as that is the only change recently (from stage 1 to stage 2 nan)

2017-08-11Any good ways to slowly stop my LO (now 22 months) from sucking his thumb? He usually will suck his thumb to sleep or for comfort (when crying ). If he is engaged in activities , he usually won't suck his thumb. But I want him to stop sucking his thumb completely

2017-08-11Hi, yesterday my son had a high fever and he is recover but whole day he is having diarrhea but feeding was okay.. during midnight he diarrhea and soil his bed and I try feeding.him milk he was drinking but he after drinking half way he committed out . After that he diarrhea again and something like a bean kind of poop. I look closely it not poop and he did not eat any of that kind of food. Any mummies encounter this?
2017-08-12Been trying for quite some time for our 2nd child with no luck, our 1st is almost 5 years is there any supplements which could increase our chances of getting pregnant? Was diagnose with block right tube instead of gg for a surgery was treated by fertility massage and finally unblock it. Now actively trying. Even went to TCM bt still no baby dust ☹️ getting so tired of this process. Dont know if i should start on clomid. Any advise dear mummy...

2017-08-12Hi mummies, any ideas how to store fresh milk (normal cow fresh milk) for toddlers in child care centre ? CC said does not provide fridge to store fresh milk as most children drink formula milk. But my child does not like formula milk. Thanks in advance.
2017-08-12Any mummies here fall out with whole family or parents and yet to reconcile or have already reconcile, would you be able to share hw did u reconcile? My parents have always put blame on me, side outsiders and fall out with me. They rather keep outsiders and always say "not happy u leave, don need u to be here, this is my house" This time round though not as serious matter as previous incidents but i really feel like its my last straw. I really wanna leave this family with husband and kids and not gonna come back to them anymore. As we are staying with my parents due to no place at the moment, husband told me to endure all matters until we have a house, which i agree. But i have to everyday get blamed for things. My days at home is as good as those drama political issues in the palace. For nothing gets blame, people who my parents' sided give me faces and attitudes, own siblings also the same. I really hate it. My parents are teaching my children not to listen to me, saying bad things about me, told them don need to obey what i say. Even taught my children to call me names and not teaching them to call me mummy. Since then, my children hasnt learned how to call mummy(refused to call me too) and is able to say a few words and call them(my parents). I am really angry and hurt i think. Are there any mummy able to share similar sentiments?
