- 2017-01-09We hired our helper through an agency. After 6 months and 3 days (3 days past the agency's replacement period), she told us she wants to find another employer. She requested that we don't send her back to the agency we hired her from, but let her seek out another agent on her own. The time frame she needs to find a new employer is 2-3 weeks. Is this request fair? Do we need to return her to the agency we employed her from or is she free to seek out new employers on her own? We are first time employers and don't want to run into any issues with the agency / MOM.
Thanks!
- 2017-01-09My husband and I have different way of letting my lo goes to sleep. He is the cry it out method but he will hold our boy to his body and stop him from struggling his hands and legs then assure him to cry it out its fine and he sleep after that. But everytime he did that I will be uncomfortable and angry, because I too heart pain for my lo.
My way will be the normal coaxing and as always it can took me 1hr to 2hr for him to get to sleep.
My husband say sleeping is very important to him so cry it out is the best way and efficient way for him to get into sleep. Rather than me rocking him for 1 or 2 hrs and he still wide awake not sleeping.
My lo can stay up for 7 hrs not sleeping no matter how I rock him. Only my husband use the cry it out method it make him get some sleep or nap.
My lo is 2 months old going to 3 months.
Any mummies or daddies is doing the cry it out method?
- 2017-01-09What's your comment??? ......................
I want to divorce my husband for some reasons. It's a mental torture for me. No point talk to him because it's useless and waste of time. That's something that I see in his messages. He even go out drinking. He plays mahjong. He lies. Don't take care of me and my daughter.
I want a full custody of my daughter. We are literally married for 1 year plus. With his f attitude and things that he do...really pisses me off. I have full evidence on this.
What u say??

Feel so helpless in this.

- 2017-01-10I have concerns about the quality/standards of the teachers in my baby's ifc. Can I ask those mummies who put their child in ifc?
1. Once baby starts on solids (cereals for breakfast only for now), for the subsequent milk feed, after milk, do e teachers feed baby wif water? My baby's training cup is totally dry today! Somemore he has cough & runny nose, & not finishing his milk feeds each time!
2. I put clean clothes & towel, & a big plastic bag which is folded, in a zip lock bag for bath in ifc. After showering baby, do e teachers put the dirty clothes & wet towel back into e zip lock bag or e plastic bag provided? Which one will u put dirty clothes in?

- 2017-01-117 months old baby have been pooing each time i feed. When he pooed, i changed the diaper. After that, i tried feeding him the remaining milk as it was not finished the first time round. He pooed again. Everytime the bottle teat is in his mouth, he poos.. Why is this happening? It is not diarrhea.. It is yellowish with some bits & pieces of poo... It has been happening for a few days already.. Ever since he got into ifc, he started this episode.. Now, he got serious diaper rash... Should i bring him see doc about this continuous pooing? Or is it just part of teething process?

- 2017-01-14Childcare or grandparents for 20mo? what would you choose and do you have any experience to share. On one hand I feel that grandparents love is good for my child but on the other hand I feel that CC will help my child to be less coddled and more independent and adventurous (eg grandparents carry lots, don't bring him to play group due to zika, helps him too much and give him little room for exploration and me-time) as he he seems like a rather cautious boy. He's very well socialised so that's not thr main reason for gg CC. should i wait til he is older for CC ? is it cruel to put him in at such a young age?
