2017-07-10Do you still test for pregnancy during expected menses period with very light spots seen third day? my menses should be these few days and I starts to see very light spotting. Unsure if menses is here or not as I have not test if I am pregnant or not. Kind of worry.

2017-07-10Can mummies shared with me recipe for porridge? I add pumpkin, carrots, broccoli and fish. Is it okay? Sometime I add tofu, sometime I add ikan bliss for some salty taste. I am a noob in cooking and this is my first time making porridge. I don't know what ingredients to add too.. I just agar agar. Any easy and nice recipe can shared? I am taking care of my lo alone so too complicated one I may not have time to prepare.

2017-07-10Just need to rant... My hubby and I are playing this mobile game which he also intro one of his girl gamer friends. He will spend time on the game with her doing quests etc and make jokes and silly teasing remarks (bra size, about using her charm etc) about her in the game chat. This makes me feel quite uneasy and insecure. He mentioned he knows her more years than me and they are just jokes and nothing else. He does not think there is anything wrong with what he is doing so no use speaking to him about it. When I msg him, he dun reply yet can reply to msg in the game. Unsure how to make him understand how he is making me feel. He even said Im a xxxxing wife who suspect him about every thing. Is there really nothing wrong with what he is doing?

2017-07-11My lo is 9mths old. She have milk at 830am cereal at 1030am then porridge at 1pm and 5pm next feeding milk at 8pm last feeding at 10pm before sleep. It's ok.to skip milk for the whole afternoon as my helper feeding her 3 times solid now.

Let him play w safe educational toys for age 6months.. i feel thay i wanna interact more. I do also read and sing to him daily and drag bath time longer so he can enjoy splashing in my bathtub. Pls advice what more i can do to keep him bz. He is one clingy baby and he loves oarebtal soft touch. At times i hv to babywear him at home just so that he will stay quiet. 2017-07-11Hi there, I'm giving birth in a few weeks' time and am trying to prep my 17 month old toddler for her new sibling. She's showing signs of jealousy when I role play by carrying and caring for a doll (ie. baby) by rushing towards me and throwing away my doll and then wanting me to hug her instead. How can I help her adapt to her new sibling without hurting her feelings especially since I'll need to be feeding and carrying the newborn very often? Any tips that worked for you guys? 2017-07-11I think i need some help to fend off strangers who like to come close to my 15mo daughter. In the first place, she is overly sociable and waves to everyone she sees outside. So people reciprocate and wave back... but some come up to touch her face/fingers. I am ok if people wave back n keep their distance n give us personal space. but what i cannot tolerate is when aunties n uncles hover ard behind her (when she is strapped to a high chair at coffee shops = meaning meal time etc) and then my girl will have to turn ard almost like 180 deg to see the person. tell me i am normal n not overreacting... i m not at all pleased when the cleaning uncle or aunty comes up close to touch her. once, a stranger aunty who was sweaty (i really saw perspiration trickling down her) after clearing dishes at a coffee shop asked if she could carry my daughter! honestly, i freaked out but just said "no, i just applied medicated cream on her..." hey but then i thought to myself right after, what the heck i dont owe anyone any explanation for not allowing them (a complete stranger) to touch my child! A stranger not in the best hygienic physical state asked to carry my baby! Did she not consider that? Pls tell me how do you fend these people off whilst trying to remain polite n not too hostile? Because of so many of such occurences, my hubby n i dread going to coffeeshops n zi char stalls now bec these always happen at such venues. At restaurants n cafes, no one bothers us. At most the server or waitress comes over to smile or wave but they dont cross the line by touching or ask to carry her. I really need help. I cannot be skipping coffeeshops n hawker centres...

2017-07-12My parents in law insist that I might overfeed my baby so they reduce from 110ml to 80ml. Is it true that I may overfeed my baby? Baby used to drink every 2.5h, 110ml. Now baby is drinking 80-90ml (cry then give milk). Baby drink lesser but next feed is always 3-4h.
2017-07-12Hi Experts, I'm Deepa, working in Singapore IT sector holding Employment Pass. Trying for the baby since last 4 years and I didn't conceive even single time. I used to follow up in NUH, as a conclusion Dr suggest to go with IVF/ICSI. I have tried one fresh and frozen cycle ICSI in India(2016) and I got negative results. So I wanted to try my second cycle in Singapore. Did anyone of you had an IVF/ICSI treatment in Singapore recently? could you please advise me financially how much I should prepare? any recommended hospital and Dr for this. looking forward your kind replies. 2017-07-13Hi , my Boy is 21 months old but he is still not speaking in sentences or has a wide vocabulary. I read he should acquire more than 50 vocabulary but his is still very limited. Words that he can say: Ma Ma , dad, ge ge (Brother in mandarin) , clock , eggs , bus, ball, meow, nose, eyes, what's this , I don't want , no, Yi Yi (aunt), po po (grandma ) .. I think that's about it .. should I be worried ? My friend's kids are all speaking with much more vocabulary than my boy so I'm very worried. My elder son was already speaking in sentences when he was 18 months old .. I don't wanna compare but can't help but get worried:(

2017-07-14I feel like im in a compressed cooker, anytime going to explode. My no1 is 19mo while no2 is 2mo old, we are staying with my parents. My bro is already 25yo(doing part time job) yet behaves like secondary sch kid, mimic and make fun of all of my actions and what i said. Dad and mum everyday nag about this nag about that, especially my mum, she can scold and nag very well. Both my parents like to criticise and say sarcastic things to us expect those that they dote on. What i teach my kid they also want to interfere, have something to say and criticise. I bought multivitamin for no1, he doesnt want to drink, my mum threw it away telling me that since no1 doesn't like why am i forcing him, so threw it away. Arghhhhhh!!! Both children sleep in aircon room, im afraid they might have dry skin, bought lotion for them, my mum fought over this with me, refused to let them apply and even i apply on them, she got angry and quarrel with me. Hubby knows everything but only thing he tells me is "forget it lo, they(my family members) are like tt wad to do" if not hubby will jus ignore my grumbles and not listen to me/walk away. I am really very irritated and might flare up in anytime soon. How can i calm myself down!!!

2017-07-14My lo is 8 months and he has been cranky most of the time. And he wants to touch things that I don't allow him to touch, when I took it away from him he will start to cry but I will nv give in. Is it normal for baby to act this way? And he already have 6 teeth and non stop biting things, everything he bite. I wonder when will he stop biting? He woke up at 7am and refusing to take his nap at 9am or 10am and he will be cranky all the way until 11am or 12pm to take his nap and is only a 30 mins to 1hr nap. The 2nd nap will be at 3pm or 4pm also a short one about 30 mins to 1he. Sometime he don't even want to take his 2nd nap and keep on being awake. He will sleep at 7pm or 8pm until the next day 6am or 7am. Is it okay? Diaper changing time he will turn and toss around . Especially when he poops, which I am having hard time cleaning him up. Any tips to shared for making him not tossing and turning around.?

When should I start to worry and go to see my gynae? I started doing kick counts this week but today is definitely a day my baby has failed the count relative to the counts I did over the week.
