2017-05-15I very angry when I go out and I realise all the passerby will stare at me.. I don't know why.. There is nothing wrong with my face or wearing . Maybe my body build is small size or what ppl thinks that I am very young? Or don't know what wrong with them.. I really hate it every time I go out sure all of the ppl stare and stare until I walk out of their sight.. even mothers and fathers stare.. Anyone encounter this? My husband also saw it and say what's wrong with these ppl.. I always wear a T shirt and a short . Very normal, sport shoes or slipper. My husband same. My baby is normal also.. I use baby carrier normal also.. I just can't figure out why.. stare me up and down that kind.. make me hate to go out for a walk..

2017-05-15i just found out i am pregnant, i should be feeling happy but im not. currently i have a 16month old boy, intended to have a second one end of next year. reason being i haven have enough time for myself n my boy for the past 16 months dur to my heavy work commitment. i have just quit my job hoping to have more time for my boy, also some time for myself. Also i was hoping tat after i resign i can persuade my hub to ask my mil to return to her own house to stay as i can look after my own kid. Was having alot of issues staying with my mil and because she is looking after my kid i have to tolerate. now with my pregnancy all my plans will be jeopardized. if my mil learnt i am preggy all the more she will not move back... now even if i have the time to spent with my boy i can no longer baby carry him... all these thoughts made me feel upset. am i abnormal to feel my lo came at the wrong time? i seriously dont wish to b preggy now. how can i adjust my feelings...

2017-05-15Hi mummies, i have a 13.5 mths old baby and currently expecting no. 2 at abt 12 weeks. Before preg with no.2, i will coax the lo to slp if he wakes up at nite. As my current preg is unstable, i could not do the carrying n nightcare, hence my helper n mil took over. My helper has gone back home n my mil has been doing nightcare for abt 4 mths. As my mil is gg overseas next week, last nite i tried to coax my lo to slp so that i can prepare for next week as mil not ard. He woke up at 2am and was still sleepy. I coax him but an hour later he was still turning n tossing. As i took too long he got more awake till 4am. My mil came to the room n lo went to her for carry. Seeing him awake we gave 120ml milk n after finish he doze off v quickly. I believe he was tired but not used to me hence cant go back to slp. I feel upset and at a loss for next week. Regret to let go the nightcare but i need to care for the bb in tummy. Any mummies have advice or similar experience?

2017-05-16Hi all, recently my 5yo daughter has begin to dislike going school. Every morning she will cry n give all sort of reason and we have checked with school and nothing is wrong. She give reasons like discomfort panty, scare of drilling, eat too slow, don't like that friend, don't know how to flush toilet etc. many times we just put n go despite her crying n we got to known from teachers after that she will stop cry n play w friends. Back in her n1/2, she was fine. K1 has a changed of teacher. I m clueless, hope some parents can give me some advices. Thanks.
2017-05-16What will you do if your husband want you to cut of contact with your sister as she keep talking negatively about your family which affect you? However, he himself refused to do anything about his parents who did even more nasty things to his family, wife and kids (their own grandchildren). He don't even dare to told them off when they are in wrong and keep asking me to turn deaf at all their wrongdoings. All his actions are causing stress at me which in turn make me turn hash towards my children. After yelling, screaming and even beating my children, it make me feel so bad. I have tried marring counselling, face to face talk to my parents-in-law (they agreed to stop involving in our family matter but continue to do it when my husband is not around), stop meeting often to avoid negative build-up from them (but they call my husband every another day to inform him that they hurt their hands, legs, or backside. They are fine when we go down). I am really running out of idea and thinking if we should go separate way to avoid all the negatives.

2017-05-16Hi, what would you do if your K1 kid refuse to go to school? Everyday, she'll mention that she doesn't want go to school and doesn't like Teacher N. To me, the teacher is quite impatient and negative. And apprently, some of her other classmates' parents also said the kids don't like her. I've spoken to the teacher but things doesn't seem to change. Will speaking to the principal help before we consider changing school? But that would effect the teacher's treatment towards my kids right?

2017-05-16Arghhh!!! Im getting depression soon! Delivered no2 for 3 weeks, my mum is my confinement nanny, doesnt let me bathe, sometimes(most of the time) nv cook longan water, everyday cooked about the same food either lunch and dinner entirely same food or consecutively same food for 2 days, every alternate days cook ginger meesua(food that i hate). Worse is, next door doing house renovation, my surrounding building BTOs, both babies crying non stop due to the noise. Both parents everyday scold about this and that, i can tell you the sarcasm and nagging is absolutely driving u insane. The hubby only knows about working, asking him to help just a bit he will feel irritated and annoyed. Ask him to help anything he will tell me "ehhh i don owe it to you ok" Pregnancy, delivery pain and healing of the wounds are not as insane as confinement. This 30-40days really a pain especially for traditional chinese i think. Every single "rules" or "myths" are so ridiculous yet many oldies are forcing people to accept. I dono where to channel and what to do to make myself happy and not fret over these things.

2017-05-16If i alrd delivered 3weeks, till nw my supply has been only a few drops at most to a total of 20ml. Starting lo still latch, but nw she refuses especially when she is very hungry, asking her to latch she will scream at her top of her voice. I tried pumping too, supply is worse. What can i do?

2017-05-16I was told that baby main diet is milk for 6 months and 7 months. But I will give him abit puree in the afternoon and the rest of the day I give milk, is it okay? I saw some mummies giving porridge, stem fish and others solid food. May I know should I give my LO more solid food ? My LO is going to 7 months. He have 2 teeth and he know how to chew abit.. But I not sure how to start the diet schedule.. can mummy advice me if I give my LO half of the ready made puree once a day is it enough?
2017-05-16Why must I always be the one to be so busy feeding my 8 months old at the dinner table while my husband can sit back n relax n enjoy his meal ? Even after he has finished eating , he never offer to help me .. leaving me busy feeding n handling the LO n with my plate of food unfinished . I tried to take a few spoonfuls of food as I feed my LO but u know how difficult it is to concentrate on eating n at the end of it , I often lost my appetite or no mood to eat. Why can't my Husband jus help me out after his meal ? Why can't he b the one to offer to start to offer to feed our LO ? I have never heard him offer that . I actually don't mind to start feeding my LO but at least after his meal , he can offer his help , right ? Instead of relaxing in his seat n sipping his coffee. N another thing I'm v fed up is , he would purposely sit Away from my LO .. so he don't need to help out .. happen every single time ! I did tell him I would prefer that LO sit in between us but the next time , he would sit away again! I'm so upset! Am I being petty ? What is your meal time situation with hubby when baby is too young to self feed?

2017-05-16Any mommies here with 2 or 3 boys ? I have 2 boys n I don't intend to have a 3rd child but I'm so sick with those insensitive comments like "huh? No girls ah? Try for 3rd one lah , maybe will get a girl?".. "Wah seh! 2boys ! Must be tough for u !".. "girls are more fillial, should try for a girl." ... " girls are easier to manage than boys .." .. "huh? No girls to go shopping or high tea with next time ." Blah blah blah .. I admit that when I was conceiving my #2, I did hope for a girl but after having my second boy , I find him v cute n like it too n feel that it is okie not to have a girl but I often get such insensitive n irritating comments that I feel v irritated ! Yes, I can choose to ignore but hearing it day after day is really making me frustrated !
2017-05-16I don't like it when my mil n sil share utensils with my 1 year old . They would often use the spoon or fork that they have used to eat their meal to feed my LO with a few spoonfuls of rice or meat. I find it so unhygienic! Even I don't use the spoon that I have used to feed my young child . I told my mil n sil once but I think my mil got offended n say ," why ? My saliva is poison is it ?" Faint !

2017-05-17Hi al, my 2m baby suddenly change her sleep pattern. She used to sleep soundly and wake up 2-3 hrs to feed then fall back to sleep. Recently she woke up midnight and 4-5 am and refuse to go to sleep. I need to let her suckle and hold her for an hour+ until she fall asleep. If I put her on her bed to quickly she wil wake up and the whole process start again. Is it because we take off her swaddle? She always kick herself out and sweating inside even in aircon room.

2017-05-17My LO is 7 months and I offer him abit of puree he likes it after that I give him water but he drink half way and was playing with the bottle while drinking he suddenly cough and vomited all the puree he eat. It been like everything he cough and he will vomit. Even he drinks his milk.. not immediately but after awhile if he cough he will keep coughing.

2017-05-17My 11 month baby seems to prefer mushy texture as he will keep food eg minced meat, shredded fish/chicken/pork in his mouth so feeding will take a long time , I will end up Not feeding him those food . He likes bread n rice n biscuits.Does ur baby self feed at this age? I cannot tahan the mess when I allow him to try spoon feed as such he doesn't really know how. I guide his hands holding e spoon to his mouth but he will push it away, or just play with the spoon n fling the food everywhere.
2017-05-17Just ranting only! Everyday, we will go over to mil's place for dinner. Whenever LO makes unhappy noises, there will always be someone who will ask me: 'Is it time for him to eat/drink?' I get fed up whenever they ask me tiz.. Y? Bcos as a mum, I know when it is time for him to eat/drink. Dun need anybody to keep asking me. Have been tolerating tiz for almost a yr! Of cos I will feed him when itz time! Irritated!

2017-05-18Ask you ladies. I always breasfeed my baby in the bedroom. During the day if my mil come and visit she will barge in to see baby while she is latching on. I tired to cover up but impossible. She will walk around and find her way to see baby. I tried closed the door, she will just come in. Tried lock the door she will knock and sometimes baby just fall asleep so she will wake up. What should I tell her? I try not to have any conflict or argument with my mil. Thanks
