2017-04-17Sometimes I don't understand why people are so hung up over the gender. I think we should just be grateful if the child is healthy and normal and raise them to the best of our ability. I have 2 boys myself and I get upset when I hear comments that I should try for a girl as they said girls will look after the parents in future. To me there's no difference and hope parents with boys do not think negatively and love them just as much.

2017-04-17JTR I really dont know how to get along with my husband.. all he does is give me a face everynight after he end work.. i didnt expect him to take care of lo even he end work.. all i do is all by myself and im currently also pregnant.. idk why he is always like this.. all he does is just lying on bed playing phone. 2017-04-17I need psychotherapy. I need counseling. I need help and no judgment. I have alot of stress from family members. They are driving me to a corner. I took it out on my kids. It's really bad. But I don't dare to go for help because I'm worried that the therapists or counselors may report to the authorities. Social service will take my kids away and my husband will get the last laugh. Here comes the cleaner and she kept complaining that the kid messed up the place, while your were still eating, cleaner took the broom and sweep the floor, pushed lo's baby chair away and took the dirtied spoon on the floor and threw it onto the table. ~~~ you and family were still eating halfway~~~ What will your immediate reaction be?

2017-04-18Hi Mummies, sometimes I feel really bad because 3-4 days per week after work, I always let my LO (18 mths) self entertain herself while I sit or lie down beside her playing with my phone.. I feel that I should spend more time with her like read books or just play with her.. she sometimes tries to ask for my attention and I just told her to play on her own.. 2017-04-18What fruits would you recommend that I can prepare for my 1yo who goes to infantcare? I have been giving her dragonfruit, papaya and mangoes that I cut up at home in the morning. Because the portion for her is relatively small, I tend to have to finish the rest myself when cutting it up. 2017-04-18To those exclusively breastfeeding mommies whose period have yet to come... and then you conceived... how long did it take for you to realise that you are expecting another baby (given that you have not been menstruating...how did you know?) I have been exclusively breastfeeding my li and she just turned 1yo. I would like to try for number 2 soon as age is catching up. I thought I need to stop breastfeeding in order to start ovulating and menstruating (ie normal cycle to resume) and then ttc. But seems like there are many mommies out there who conceived whilst still breastfeeding? Can you enlighten me pls?

2017-04-18I need advice on weaning a 4 year old off my breast.. on top of that, she needs to be hug like a bolster to sleep by me every night.. I am trying to give her a new sibling, so will really need her to wean off breast and also minimise night time hugging As I foresee it will be so difficult when I'm preg as the tummy jus gets bigger. I tried explaining to her that if she wants a new sibling, she has to give up her milk (my boobs) to the younger one, and she replied me then it's ok, I don Wan any didi Mei Mei anymore.. at times she will say things like didi Mei Mei like her to drink first... ?.. And becoz of this comfort latching and hugging, she's not sleeping through yet!! And she has never sleep through the night before since day 1. I'm very worn out as well. She's not taking any of our explanations too. I have people giving me advices to leave her with parents or in laws for a period of time to wean her off, but that's not workable as we do not have other help other than childcare services during the day time. It's Juz me and hubby to care for her. And my Husband needs to work during the evenings, and taking 1-2 weeks leave to wean her off at night is not possible becoz we do not have a lot of extra leaves, she falls sick easily and we need our leaves to keep her at home if she's not well, and not forgetting 6-8 days of sch closure in a year... we need to set aside that too.. I've really ran out of ideas...
