2016-12-05Hi mummies.. do ur 1 yr old drastically decrease milk intake? My boy is drinking 50ml on avg every 5-6 hrs. This is the 3rd day alr and im getting worried as he has been below the 3rd percentile on growth chart since born. He is on porridge and rice cereal for lunch n bfast also but only just sips of water during these 2 meals. Is this normal? He is seeing kkh pd but we dnt hv any session until next mth.

2016-12-05As the day getting nearer. I somehow feel more guilty & sad. Becuz I got to take care of no.2 more and cannot take care of my no.1. I will have to neglect her for some time, wonder can she gets used to it when the day comes. As I will be doing my confinement at my mum's place. And my gal will have to be taken care by my hub's aunties. Becuz her school is nearby. Am I having prenatal blues?! Do any mummies feel the same way as me too?
2016-12-05My second son is 3 going on 4. He's been fiddling with his private parts constantly since going off diapers in the day. It even went to the extent of pulling down his pants and fiddling in public. I'm irritated and disgusted and haven't been able to respond positively. * My eldest went through this period too, without the public exposure. I have tried the hard (threaten) and soft (telling him it's shameful) way of broaching the subject. It is still happening. What else should I do to stop that behaviour?
2016-12-05I do not have the habit to call my mil mum or fil Father.. cos I am not staying with them .. and have bad impression with them. Not in good terms too. So when I didn't called them Mother or Father, my hub say I got no manner. What can I do?

2016-12-05Hi mummies My 4mths old girl used to wakes up at 4am however i try ti drag the time from 4.30 till now 6am. However for past two weeks,she has been waking up for awhile same timing 3am,5am when i pat her she went back to sleep.my concern is that normal? She will always go to bed at 9pm self soothe but e mid morning when she wakes up i need to pat then she sleep. I dreamfeed her at 11pm 160ml(only for night day time will be 140ml)hoping that the milk can last her till next morning 6am. Am i doing the right thing? Or should i stop dreamfeed her but wont be able sttn cause her last milk is at 8.45pm. Need mummies advice Thank you
2016-12-05Hi mummies 4mth old baby used to wakes up for milk ar 4am however i have tried to drag slowly from 4am-6am. This past two weeks she has been waking up same timing 3am,5am & 6am i dunnoe why but when i pat her sleep she will goes back. Is there anything i need to look into. 2016-12-05I am breastfeeding my LO. My grandma keep telling me to eat more so baby got milk to drink. If not eating baby will only drink all the 'wind' not your milk. I don't know is this true. I did eat lah.. but not like 3 meals a day. Maybe 1 or 2 meal. As I am sleeping whenever my LO is sleeping.. my LO is 1 month and 2 weeks.

I am still latching once a day at night, if pump maybe only 50ml. Can I get a fitting and is it reliables size for me in the long run alrdy? 2016-12-06What do you do or say? When your MIL felt that you shouldn't breastfeed/latch baby for long as she felt that its not good for her(She felt its not okay for your child to latch on your breast when she is older, will make her mental growth a problem)? I planned to breastfeed my baby for 12 months, after knowing what her view on it i feel really upset. My hubby is half supportive and half not supportive. :/
2016-12-06Hi. My 10 months boy had a fall on 30th nov. Cried nonstop and had a big bump, hence went to doctor and xray. Doctor said no fracture or crack. However, since that day, now and then he vomitted a bit after milk. During nightime, he can sleep the whole night without waking up. But daytime, his regular routine remain the same. He is as active as usual. Only the vomitting part and his extra sleepiness during the night makes me worried. Any advice? TIA.

2016-12-06This is useful to cook small portion of porridge for baby. U juz needa put tiz in ur rice cooker to cook can alrdy. Of cos inside u juz put e way u normally would do to cook porridge. U can cook together wif adult rice. Instead of buying a slow cooker, why dun u juz get tiz cheap at Carousell? Find tiz really useful. Juz sharing..

2016-12-061) hi mummies, for those who have a choice between half day and full day childcare, and have experienced both, I would like to hear from you which one is better in terms of sleep & learning? heard that some parents tried half day but this caused the afternoon nap to start even later and full day was better. 2)Is it ok to start with half day and switch to full day, as some CCs say this will only traumatise the kids 2x instead of 1x. 3)Also some CC says that it's better to spread the learning as compared to trying to teach them lots in half a day. will they miss out alot if they only attend half day CC? thanks all for yr insights :)

2016-12-06How will you deal in laws who took a video of LO during bath time showing his private part despite husband and my mum who was bathing LO specifically telling them not to? My husband said he don't know how to bring it up to his parents for fear that they will be upset. I feel that even though my LO is still an infant, he has his own privacy and his private parts should not be photographed/videoed.
2016-12-06Why is my baby 1 month and 2 weeks old keep being awake at midnight and not wanting to sleep.. is it normal? Or must i keep smoothing him to sleep and make him a habit of sleeping at night? I latch him and bottle feed him, sometimes he reject bottle and sometimes he reject my breast. He will suddenly cry and scream not wanting any of it. Don't know is it nipple confusion. So tiring, every day around 11pm he will start to be awake or wanting milk for like 4 hrs.

2016-12-06My 1 month that old baby like to sleep on my chest.. he don't really sleep on his back.. only sides or tummy. For now on my chest I am still okay, I worry that when he grow up older and become heavier how will I able to let him sleep on my chest.. but sleeping on my chest he can sleep very soundly.

2016-12-08Hi all, is it normal to not have any trace of libido while breastfeeding? I'm bf-ing my LO for almost a year and sex life is close to zilch. I have spoken to my hubby about this before and he said it's fine and we can take our time. For me I feel like my mind is up for it but the body isn't. 2016-12-08My mother in law stay with me weekday and weekend she will go to my sister in law house stay. Both my sister in laws stay together and I am not get along with both. The youngest one ever used knife to threaten me and pick on me when I am at home which I ask her to go out. From Thereon she seldom come. But recently quarrel with her sister and she will come and stay with my mother in law. She just hide in the room which I am fine. But recently both quarrel at my house and my window grills spoil because she attempt to suicide. ( I wasn't around that time). My 3 kids were at home that time but my helper said all never see what happens. I told my husband I don't want her to stay here forever. Short term and not create trouble is okay but if they want to quarrel please go out. My husband tell me he will go out too as she is her sister. So sad that my husband side her。 what would you do? I told my helper, anything happens please call me or worse please call police. My husband happens passby and he was very angry.
2016-12-09How do mummies deal with their LO growth spout? My husband tell me not to give him too much as he tend to to force vomit all the milk after continuously drinking. We had a quarrel over this as I will give in to my LO and attend to all his needs. But my husband say that babies don't know that they are full so we as a adult have to stop him from drinking so much as his stomach is not that big and can't fill all the milk as much as he wants. So he ask me to give him a pacifier. Which I worry that my LO will addict to suckling it. Yes a big fight over this issue.. My LO is 1 month 2 weeks old. I mix BM and formula milk 30ml or 60ml. When it comes to growth spout he will be fuzzy at my nipple and I give in to formula and he can down a 200ml milk which I think is abit too much for his stomach. 2016-12-09Hi all, my baby is currently 2months plus. And I always have trouble feeding her milk, she can take 1hour plus to finish 120ml of milk and she always fidget, turning her head right and left keep looking everywhere during milk time. I would need to use some force on her to make her drink her milk. I know it would be a ugly scene if I were to bring her out and she act liddat. She would either play or fall asleep during feeding and always unable to complete her milk. My mum told me "she's grown up le wanting to plus not that newborn that lie down there drink milk anymore" my concern is if it's like what my mum say wouldn't it be worst if she gets older ? Any mummies have such issue ? How do you resolve it ? Does changing in to bigger teats helps ? And how do you keep your baby awake during feeding ?

I suppose to pick up with parents who are mid 80's and he did not want me to pick them and told me that my daughter needs me more and mentioned that my parents are selfish. I plan to start as early as possible WHEN HE IS ABLE TO INDICATE TAT he wants to pee or poo (of cos i mean when he is older!). How do i start potty training like tiz? Daytime he is not even at hm. 2016-12-10My baby is 19 days old. I tried to breastfeed him for the first 3 days after he was born. From the 4th day onwards, we changed to feed him with Formula Milk and sometimes my expressed Breastmilk (if any). Am wondering is it too late if i want to direct latch him again? Am worried that i do not have enough milk for him as he can drink around 90ml to 110ml Formula Milk per feed.
