2016-10-03Anyone having the same problems as me? My Husband won't really help me with housework unless I tell him many times to do it. He will then give a unwilling attitude. Ever since i gave birth to my LO, he still never change. Is like phone and tv is his wife. I got to work, takecare LO and do housework. This is totally madness. He keeps initiate to have sex but I always reject him. Reason being that I'm too tired to even have sex. Don't have the 'feel' to do it.

2016-10-05My helper sometimes brings and fetches my toddler to school. There have been a few occasions of neighbours and school teachers telling me to keep an eye on my helper and told things like how she drags my toddler, she doesn't hold my toddler's hand when walking by the road and they finish off their words with 'keep an eye on her'. I find her ok at home and I trust her, but the neighbours and school teachers' warnings send shivers down my spine and make me uncomfortable. It is the reality that it is impossible for me to see for myself how she behaves outside home. Have you encountered this? How do you deal with it? So far I have my family members (not living with us), neighbours and my toddler's school teachers warning me.

I've tried: 1) pumping regularly 2) lactation cookies 3) drinking milo 4) taking supplement given by hospital when discharge for milk supply 5) hydrating myself with plenty of water 6) consuming lots of fish 7) let my LO(2months old) to latch, but he always cry and refuse to latch Seeing my supply reducing tremendously after confinement make me very depressed, please help me During confinement my milk supply for each pumping session can reach 160-200ml. But now it's only 40-50ml the most, sometimes even lesser.

2016-10-05Hi I just want to rant. Not too sure if I am having some kind of depression or blues. I had been away from Singapore for a year because I quit my job and followed my husband overseas. Came back when I was five months pregnant because I just couldn't handle pregnancy alone In a foreign country. But my husband is still overseas. Throughout pregnancy I did everything on my own mostly, packing my room and baby stuffs, moving heavy things and going baby fair alone to buy everything. After I gave birth husband comes back to visit once a month only. I totally feel like a single parent. My plan is to find a job back as we still need to service mortgage and my husband salary allowances will be cut once he returns to Singapore. I have been trying to actively look for a job for the whole year. Went for several interviews and for some companies I even went through many rounds and got into the final round. But everytime I am not hired at the end. Just went for a third round of interview and the HR said they are still reviewing a few more candidates. I think I lost my chance again. I am so stressed and down from being rejected again and again. I used to be able to find a job very easily. Now with age and a two year gap in my working life I know it is hard to find a job back. But I never expect to take so long close to a year and still no job. I am feeling so dejected and wonder what is wrong with me. I am willing to take a pay cut but not so much, however I am afraid I have to lower my salary by a lot and that will affect the Amount of cash flow. We still need to Reno our house and buy a car. And most importantly I feel so sad that I have to start all over in my career again. Inside my heart I blame my husband indirectly. I feel so scared sometimes, going to company and company for many rounds of interview. So tired but still have to find time to apply for jobs and husband is not around to help. Sorry for lengthy post. Anyone is like me looking for a job??

2016-10-05Just need to rant~ I just had a quarrel with my husband. I am in my late pregnancy and we went for a walk with our dog. He is very strict to our dog so when he say no he means no and the dog today did not behave and he smack his backside and I don't feel good, I just keep quiet. When we reached home, he come to me and explain "the dog should be discipline when they are naughty" and he know I am kinda of not very happy about it. I told him" he used to be a nice attitude guy when I know him not the angry side of him." And he feel offended and say" now u regret married me already har? Now think I am very bad already is it? Then he say back to me u also used to be very chio why now like this lei?" Then he say "when people say it back to you, you will feel sad right. That how I feel when u say I used to be a nice attitude guy. What if next time baby is born and he is naughty you going to give it all to him and pamper him until he is like a king?" I reply him" is useless talking to you." I know what I say trigger him but I really did not know the impact until he say it back to me. I am a sensitive person but not when I talk. He ask me "am I feeling sad or angry because I did not talk." I say "no". Then he fall asleep and I can't stop crying and feeling sad. So I wake him up and say" I feel so hurt about the last time chio now why like this" he then wake up and say "do u mean I have a bad attitude when u say it to me?" I reply "no, I don't mean it" then he says "that's right I also never mean it" he then say " you hor, say people can la, when people say you back you cannot take it hor." I don't know is it hormones or what I just feel weird and sad and can't stop crying. Sorry for the long post.

2016-10-06I am at my 3rd trimester and this morning I feel that I am having gastric pain when my baby move around. And I feel in between my chest and tummy that area is painful and uncomfortable. Don't know is it normal or I am having a gastric pain or tummy ache. I apply abit of ru yu you in between the centre of the chest and tummy. I hope the pain and uncomfortable feeling will go away soon.

After half of the year passed, someone mentioned that she is 5yo this year and should be in K1 this year, not next year. Singapore Children's Society dropped by my place when I am not around, regards my girl not being in preschool. We have more than 1 children below age of 6. I am their only caregiver. I intend to start working as we are getting our BTO keys early or mid next year. Currently living in North East area and husband is working near current home (15 mins bus ride away), new place is at North area (20mins - 1hr bus ride away from the current place). I suggested placing the children in Childcare so I can look for a job. Husband suggested sending our 4yo to pre-school only near current home or his workplace asap. If you were me, would you: 1. Place 4yo in pre-school near current home asap for now. 2. Place 4yo in pre-school near husband workplace asap for now. 3. Place all in childcare near current home asap. 4. Place all in childcare near husband workplace asap. 5. Place all in childcare near new place asap and look for a job near new place. Please also note we are facing financial difficulties and intend to approach FSC and SSO for assistance if need to place our children in CC. And that our current location most pre-school and CC are full. However, more CC and pre-school are coming up too. Appreciate all your input. Thank you!

2016-10-06My LO is 2 weeks old. She has been crying loudly out of a sudden with her eyes closed for a few times a day. This has happen for the past 4 days. Confinement lady say she is dreaming. LO is not crying for milk or diaper change as we always make sure we check her diaper and her signs of hunger. Many times, we feed her 50ml to 60ml per feed. Is this normal?

2016-10-07How long is long for constipation in a 10mo baby before I bring her to see the PD. Today is the fourth day baby hasn't popped and this is the first time. Previously her poo is hard but she still poos everyday or every other day although she has to squeeze hard. But this time she doesn't even really squeeze, it is as if she doesn't feel stomach pain or urge to poo at all. I give her probiotics drops everyday already. And her diet consists of mostly veggies and sweet potatoes. I have also given her yoghurt this week to help her poo but she still did not. Also tried tummy massage but still no use . Any advice

2016-10-08My mother doesnt really like my husband because my husband is quiet and doesnt really talk to her. My husband is also poor while most of her friends' son-in-laws are doing business or having a high pay salary. She always mentioned "your husband" despite of calling his name. My friend temper is not that good so when things are not in her way, she might showing black face to her husband, then her husband will shout at her saying "I hate you like this!
