How to get my son to brush his teeth?

My son is 31MO & he doesn’t want to brush his own teeth even tho he knows how. He keeps dragging his time for ard 1hr until he is force to brush & will keep crying just because he doesn’t want to brush... is there anyway to motivate him to brush on his own & not drag the time ...
