Am I A Bad Mother?

Just delivered few days ago and my baby refused to latch on me no matter wat. Seen lactation consultatnt n they also tried but cant. Have milk but due to lack of e grip, baby doesnt like to latch on. My boobies gt engored so painful and i just had csect. Wound pain, contraction pain, boobies pain. Nt getting good slp n rest. Am thinking of stopping breastfeeding but yet i felt y so many other mummies can do it but i cant. Am i being a bad mother?? ?

just keep practicing. I'm a c sec mom with over supply milk Initial stage I'm having such a hard time that I decided to pump it took me 2 weeks to master how to nurse property

No worries. Had csect and trouble initially whn breastfeeding. For sure it was very very stressful but eventually you will get a hang on it. 💪🏻 gambatte

My baby couldn't latch too until 8 weeks. I woke up to pump 3h everyday. Don't give up mummy, it is sure tough but keep going if you can

Don’t feel bad. I can’t get my baby to latch on me too. I just pump and bottle feed them. (Both my LO) it’s totally fine

But even i pump n feed, the amount is so little. Only when is engorged i can only get 5ml max. I felt wan to give up.

Latching is a skill that takes time to learn.be patient and work together with your baby.

Nope. Jus pump it out n feed ur baby. Then latch on n off

Most importantly is to make sure your baby is fed.

pump. don't pressure yourself too much.
