My 3 months old baby doesn't want to sleep

My 3 months old baby doesn't want to sleep in the day and often takes very short nap of 20mins and can be awake for a period of 3 to 5 hours. Is this normal?

Hi mummy my baby is also currently 3 months too. He recently started to have 'cat naps' ranging from 20mins - 50mins and can stay awake veryyy long then ownself gets upset because he's tired haha but thankfully he is able to sleep through the night for 8-10hrs with only 1 feed. I suppose your baby or even my baby is currently going through a sleep regression. Eventually you'll see him unlock a new skill! Probably like rolling over or hitting his age appropriate milestone. I knows it hard now and really worrying. Every baby is different. I suggest as long as your baby is feeding well, has a good amount of wet diapers and do not show any signs or illness your baby is fine ❤️

Hi! I'm doing both BM and FM also 150ml like yours every 3/4 hours. Around 6-8 feeds a day sometimes I ei randomly top up 50ml milk if I see baby is extra hungry. LO has a good amount of wet diapers. Hmmm can always pop by the doctors and ask them but if not you try to feed baby closer intervals or increase by 20ml and see from there. Give it 3 days. If no change then yes can go see pediatrician.
